Don't go to this CVS. Teenagers shoplift there every day, ransack the shelves and ride their bikes inside. They also harass customers outside the store. The managers say they can't do anything. The police do nothing. They need a full time security guard. If you need to go to CVS go to Shirley or Patchogue.

My recent encounter at this CVS Pharmacy was a distressing experience that I cannot ignore. As a long-term customer, I have always expected a certain level of respect and professionalism when dealing with healthcare providers. Unfortunately, my visit shattered those expectations.During my visit, I encountered a pharmacist who displayed a shocking level of passive-aggressiveness and used faulty analogies to justify denying my completely valid prescription. It was as though she was more interested in power-play than providing quality customer care.The analogy used by the pharmacist, comparing the validity of an expired ID for driving a car to presenting an ID for a prescription, is fundamentally flawed. The purpose of presenting an ID for a prescription is to ensure that I am who I say I am, not to evaluate my eligibility or privilege to buy prescribed medication, which is clearly prescribed by a licensed healthcare professional.I understand that every business has policies, denying essential medication, despite presenting my government-issued photo ID as proof of my identity and eligibility, is beyond perplexing. What made this even more absurd is that the same expired ID had been used at that pharmacy without question for the past year. It felt as if she was trying to make a point rather than fulfilling her role as a healthcare professional.To be treated like a criminal while trying to access my legitimate prescription, especially when my government-issued photo ID, although expired, had been accepted without issue by the same pharmacy for the past year, was not only infuriating but also deeply disrespectful. It is disheartening to see a pharmacy prioritize enforcing "company-wide policies" over the well-being and dignity of its loyal customers.My prescribing doctor was equally horrified by this incident.

Went in for a simple covid test. Turned into a 45+ minute ordeal. Between the clinician screaming at a supervisor and a customer, and then ordering me to leave the room so she could have a screaming match with her other supervisor on the phone and making me wait a half hour for my results, insurance card and debit card, it was insane. And incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.By the way, I’m still waiting as I type this. I got here at 12:40. It is now 1:30.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years it was one of the best CVS’s around ..in the past 3 years it has gone down hill ! No one is ever at the register anymore and they force you to go on self check out ..multiple times I’ve told them I don’t want to do self check out and they tell me they will help me ..I know how to do it ..I just don’t want to! And I shouldn’t have to be forced to ! The older woman with black hair and glasses is not nice or friendly in any way!

I always feel welcomed and cared for at my local CVS. My prescriptions are always ready and the communications via text from the pharmacy are so helpful. The staff working at the front of the store are friendly and helpful as well. Thank you CVS for keeping our community happy and healthy! And the coupon savings are great!

Staff at CVS are very helpful and polite every time: cashiers, managers, pharmacy . But I feel like should be a security guard or police patrol more often because there is some people who get in and stole merchandise in front of everyone and is nothing that the store staff can do about it. The tiefhs don't listen to them and just left like nothing happened. This is a big problem for the neighborhood and community. CORPORATE SHOULD CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES LIFE AND SECURITY AT JOB SITES.

GONE DOWN HILL. Customers pressured to do things that save the store money like using self checkout. How does doing an employees job benefit me. Near impossible to reach a live person. Pharmacy employees high turn over and rushed. By its actions this CVS job is to monitize customers not respect them. The one in Setauket is infinitely better

Well, we have been here five years and CVS Bellport Pharmacy had been great....no screwups and the staff, both professional and nonprofessional, have been extremely helpful. We can only speak for ourselves, but they have been spot on. Thank you.

The woman answering the phone in the pharmacy is very rude and not helpful, I waited 30 minutes to get on the phone with a person who could tell me the status of my prescription. Every time previous I was rerouted to a Covid testing facility that connected me to the CVS and the woman told me. It's very sad to see management lack the care/want to give quality and kind service to people who seek help. It also makes the other hardworking and nice people there look bad.

When my husband had a bill for less than $5 the clerk should NOT have asked if he wanted to use the CarePass without warning him that the balance would be lost. I am very angry! Last month we forgot to use it and we lost $10! CarePass is a scam!!! Don't do it!

Inexperienced Pharmacy employees at the counter and especially outdoor driveup have no respect for customers. They don't greet you with a pleasant voice or smile. The employees don't listen instead would rather have a confrontation with an axe to grind.I feel the only way to get the attention and respect is to wave a $100 bill I'm someone face. Everyone should be treated as a valuable paying customer.

I think it’s sad how many people lack even the most basic fundamentals of compassion and patience. These are people, with families. They are under an incredible amount of pressure, they’re constantly short handed through no fault of their own, getting berated by mentally unstable individuals along with drug addicts, all while doing their best to make sure no one takes a medication that could kill them. Oh and as for the post above directed at the pharmacist, I wonder what the real story is...

This is the worst Pharmacy in America. No matter what you do, it's a hassle. The automated phone system tells you your medication is ready, but when you go there, they don't have anything for you. They have one person to handle the drive thru and the lines inside, and you can wait 30 minutes just to be told they don't have your medication. Nobody cares that there's five cars waiting in the Drive-Thru and eight people waiting in line. Customer service is nonexistent, and nobody really cares. Do yourself a favor and get your medication at Walgreens or some other Pharmacy, because this place is nothing but an endless headache and monumental waste of time. Would give them negative Stars if I could.UPDATE: 10/10/22 To make my CVS experience even more annoying, now I have to pass someone at the door soliciting donations for whatever. Pharmacy is out to lunch. I hate this place. 😡

I would give 0 stars if I could. The pharmacist Shelly is extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. I love CVS and have never had a problem with my local one. I had to go to this one for a certain medication my pharmacy was out of. Will never be going here again, I would not recommend this location if she is on duty.

I scheduled an appointment to get a TDAP vaccine online. When I came in and checked into my appointment, I waited for approximately 15 minutes without anyone coming over. Went over to the pharmacy consultation and was told that they are on lunch for another half hour and “I can wait if I want to.” I asked if they could give it to me, and was told that the minute clinic and pharmacy are two separate appointments. I made the appointment on CVS.com (which is what she said I would have to do), and did not specifically select minute clinic. I was given what the website gave me. I was told that I could register for another appointment online, but it wouldn’t be until later or tomorrow. Complete waste of my time and absolutely no help towards resolution. Why is the website allowing for appointments to be made during lunch breaks? What a joke.

One star for the Saturday (01/30/2021) pharmacist. I asked for help with an issue and the "pharmacist", a young woman, no lab coat, only gave me a very quick answer. Then she walked away without waiting for my response, as if she was too busy to deal with any other questions. The weekday pharmacist is always helpful and even takes the time to show customers where the products are on the shelf. Also, Five stars for the CVS General manager and the cashiers.

If I could give them a no star, I would ! The worst of the worst service for customers. Prescriptions are not always ready when called in by doctors for pick up. Employees are nasty and don’t care about their customers. Went to pick up my pain prescription the day I was discharged from the hospital which was prescribed by my doctor. Totally different prescription than my previous and they argued with me that I wasn’t able to get it because it was too early. Totally different doctor and medication prescription and they refused giving it to me. In other words I had to take my previous pain medicine. I asked the pharmacist when will my new prescription be ready and I was told by Sunday. Went back today, Tuesday 7/6/21, and it wasn’t ready. I asked them as to why wasn’t it ready and was was given a lame excuse that it was originally prescribed early. I told her that it should have been ready last Sunday and that I was currently in pain, as I was told to return. Anger got the best of me and told her that I was going to wait (drive through) to get my pain medicine. After 20 minutes waiting and ringing the service bell I was given my pain medicine. This has happened other times before at this CVS location for my children’s medications. This is an awful place!

I am so glad I stopped procrastinating and switched pharmacies, best decision I’ve made even though it’s 5 more miles away. no more being told prescription is ready meanwhile I still need to wait an hour inside anyway, no more having a problem every single time with prescriptions which they don’t even call me to report so it stays unfilled until hopefully I can call back in if the phones are working that day, no more pharmacists policing my meds from my one and only doctor and refusing to fill them until they speak with my doctors office. It’s a shame they are so awful because they are right around the block from me

Service and management is really bad at this CVS! Prescription wasn't ready after days the doctor had prescribed it electronically. They could not find it in their system and I had to call doctor to prescribe it again. CVS calls me notifying me that they had found the prescription and clerk was stumbling over many excuses as to why it wasn't ready. This has happened times before.

Could do better with the way the handle high school kids, non versatile economy, dirty carpets, broken products all over, calling is a waste of time, I had 1 good experience with a cashier jazz I think her name was, very friendly and helpful but this cvs needs a whole new crew !

I agree about the steep decline of this pharmacy. They are slow and sometimes do not make an effort to help.A reason for the slow drive up times might be due to Coof testing at the drive up. If that is the case they should have the person park their car and submit their test sample in another way (not at a drive up!).

Worst pharmacy you can go to, extremely slow with filling prescriptions, will never contact you if there’s an issue, problem every single time you go even though nothing has changed. I really wish I had another pharmacy closer but this one is just so convenient, I end up spending 30 minutes here every time so I might as well go to the next town over to spare me the headache

Messed up my prescription twice. Refuse to make a simple call to my insurance company or Dr office to straighten out simple errors or notify me of rejections. Also made up several erroneous reasons why my meds were rejected. Terrible untrained assistants and overworked pharmacists. They are going to kill someone with their incompetence.

Getting through to the pharmacy is a joke. Just sat on hold for 25 minutes and still no one picked up. Had to call the front of store to get prescriptions renewed. The girl who answered the front phone was VERY nice and took care of it for me

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. 3 Prescriptions were sent over electronically on Tuesday came to pick it up only one was ready. Came back Monday for the other 2 claimed they didn't have it had to wait another 30 minutes. Had another script called in at 11am it's 5:15 and I was told 30 minutes again. I wish I could give this 0 stars.
