We adopted a 5-month-old puppy and enrolled in the beginning training class at Petsmart in Bellmore. We liked the class so much that we ended up doing the intermediate and advanced class as well! The trainer, Jason, was really great. He's patient and knowledgeable and made the class fun and informative. Our puppy is much better behaved now that we've been through the classes. We would definitely recommend Jason!

Terrible customer service experience with the manager, Susan. On 1/04/24 went in to return an online purchase. She, never leaving the desk where she was sitting in the office at the front of the store….told me they do not accept online returns in the store. When I told her I just returned some online items on 1/03/24, she proceeded to ask me several more questions. When I asked her was she going to come out of the office and speak to me at the register? She replied no, she could talk to me from where she was. Really? She NEVER left her desk. She yelled instructions to the cashier on how to handle the return. (The return she lied and said they do not take)I will be taking my business elsewhere. I refuse to give them my capital to help drive up the sales of the Bellmore location. Her lack of decent customer service skills is hurting the brand and your store’s bottom line.

wonderful store with extremely friendly staff. will only be going to this location from now on and highly recommend to anyone who wants the best customer service. one of the workers rachel, is amazing and helped me out with my entire trip. one of the nicest retail workers i have ever met she should get a raise.

I just had my standard poodle groomed by Alexis she was amazing and did a Phenomenal job my dog can be difficult to handle many times other groomers are unable to complete the work ie ear hair, nail trimming... Thank you so much for your excellent work and patience

Very Disappointed in this store. I have gone there for years and I recently purchased a bearded dragon for my son and he wouldn't eat and noticed it was sick within the first week. I brought him back so my son did not have to go through with seeing his first pet die, but it was two days past the 2-week grace period and basically the manager said too bad. I will never buy anything there again.

Staff is great the food for frogs wax worms not so good usually half dead they will discount it but my goal is to feed my frogs with lively bugs.

Absolutely horrible experience with groomer Kara. Groomers should know to never shave a double coated dogs, especially when you ask them not to.

I We bought a Guinea Pig from this Pet Smart and after a week he developed an abscess on his cheek. We brought him back to PetSmart with the intention of having him treated.The store told us that our only option was to "return" him and they would treat his condition at which point we could buy him back. They estimated that treatment might take 2 weeks.My daughter had become pretty attached to him after 10 days or so, so I opted for this. Once we returned him, Pet Smart would have no legal obligation to sell him back to us, so I relied on trust and good faith.To make a long story short, after 4 weeks, the store called us and we got the Guinea Pig back.I would like to mention that we had originally been told the treatments would take 2 weeks and the store was evasive and even nasty any time I called for information. Apparently, there had been complications with the treatment, but they never reached out to update me on this.I had originally given a one star review as I assumed we were never going to hear from the store again, but updated the review to 3 when they called. Also, the store did waive the charge for "re-buying" him after all we had been through.

This is one of the nicest petsmarts that I ever Visited. As you come in, There were bright smiles with the employees. As soon as I asked if someone could assist me. There was no issue. I had this woman who assisted me finding a certain. Dog collar from my Piper. She was very Helpful? Didn't mind to assist me and she had a huge smile on her face. I will definitely come to this facility location again when I need you.

Very inexperienced groomers. This is my second time taking my 10lb Maltipoo there. Very uneven haircut patchy throughout his body and they had the nerve to charge me an additional fee. Then when I asked why the extra fee no one could answer my question. Do not recommend!!!

The groomer cut my dog on shoulder. They brought her to vet next door. She had to get 3 staples antibiotics and pain med. She is still.terrified. she is 5 lbs. Worried about infection. See the 3 staples. This was Bellmore Petsmart. The vet which I never used S. Bellmore took care of her but she is seeing my vet. I always was warned about Petsmart. No star review

Absolutely amazing store and great customer service at this location. I visited earlier today and an associate by the name of Sarah helped me find everything I needed and even enlightened me on their amazing dog training program. She was super helpful and so nice, every store could use an employee like her. She should win employee of the month with how amazing she is. The only complaint is that this location does not have any bunny rabbits which was very disappointing and made me sad.

We took our dog there to be groomed. I was a little apprehensive because she is very skittish around new people. However they made her immediately comfortable after some friendly words and letting her inspect them. They did a very good job grooming her and she seemed happy and fresh and clean.

There's a wide array of treats and toys for cats and dogs, alongside an extensive selection of other amenities for other types of animals as well. Fair competitive prices all around. I will definitely be back to shop for my little furry friends/family.This store continues to be a reliable place to pick up all of the essentials.

Very nice store. But sometimes items are out and the sale prices are not that much off. Staff is excellent... Friendly and helpful. And their bonus points system is excellent. Make you feel like your business is valued.

Can't remember the green haired manager's name exactly, Elosie maybe? Either way she was great. Very helpful, very knowledgeable and very friendly. I plan on going back with the 8 year old so we can figure out how not to kill the fish this time. She is the reason why we're going there. Thank you nice young lady with her name starting with E and the green hair.

I will not be going to this PetSmart ever again. There is one a little further and i would rather drive out of my way than to go here again. I felt snubbed by the cashier possibly a race issue. I was the only person of color in the store. I recently went to Petsmart in Levittown and had a completely different experience.I just got a new puppy so i went to buy essentials for training, food, grooming, playtime, etc. I spent well over $300. I had to practically beg the cashier how the rewards system works. Seems she didnt want to talk TO ME, bc when i walked away i heard her telling the next patron (a white lady) " sorry for the wait", "did you find everything u need?". Felt snubbed and honestly like she was being racist. Her face was like 😒 and 🙄when i was asking question. My gut feeling is to never go back there. Disgusting attitude from the cashier.

My dogs(Gizmo and Jordan Michael) loves Lori S. at the Bellmore NY store she is wonderful to my dogs .She has been grooming my dogs for 2 years now. Even though I move 4 towns away I still make my way every month to have my dogs groom with Lori. My dogs loves and adore her. I would not trade her for the world. She is totally AWESOME 👏

Dog grooming service was incomplete and unprofessional. Pet left looking worst. Pet had matted hair in places and willing to have cut way down, groomers unable to manage pet they said. Stated that pet very sweet otherwise. Charged for service with 15% discount for service that was less than 85% of initial appointment. Disappointing.

Booked a puppy bath for $15! Dogs under 5 months are only $15!! Bath, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, glands cleaned. It was a great experience. My puppy loved the staff. Everyone was super friendly from groomers to cashier. Over 5 months is $25, I’ve called several other groomers and this is by far the best price around. The service received and excellent staff make this an exceptional deal.

Good people, neat, we guess just suffering a little from online competition, inflation and COVID hangover. Please use local stores when possible. People will miss being able to go see, touch and shop items. Like everyone else, we're watching pennies, but shop local when we can.

I just had my dog Charlie groomed here (with Megan R) and I’m very happy with the results! I was told it would take 2 hours and that’s *exactly* how long it took. I never get him back that quickly! I can tell he was bathed and brushed thoroughly too. He looks great. Thanks Megan! We’ll be booking with you again!
