The value of having a local hardware store that's not Home Depot cannot be exaggerated and that ACE store in Bedford is as good as it gets. They have everything, they have tons of people ready to help you and everyone is incredibly polite.

I occasionally get to town to help a friend around his Bedford home. This Ace has plenty of staffing that have all been friendly, polite and helpful with any of my questions. The shop is clean and carries a wide range of hardware store type product. Most valuable is the guidance and advice provided to the DIY type person.

I've been going to this location for years. Every. Single. Staff member, is friendly and waiting for their chance to help you. At the same time, when you're just looking around for ideas and don't necessarily need help, they'll leave you to your own devices. It's a great shopping experience, not to mention the huge selection of items they carry. Even after years of visits I'm continually surprised to find they carry something I didn't think smaller hardware stores deal with. Give them a shot, you wont be disappointed.

It may not be home depot, but it's not trying to be that, they're a wonderful neighborhood paint and hardware store with a good range of products and amzingly friendly, knowledgable staff. Highly recommend!

I came in today to pickup sleds for my 2 year old nephew and my niece. The guy at the paint counter was very friendly and confirmed that my sled was appropriate for my nephew and helped me pick a popular color sled for my niece. Thanks for going that extra step for me. The store has a lot of great stock and brands. My husband did not want to leave your store.

Just go see my man Douglas and the rest of this awesome crew. They are knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. So much better than going to a Home Depot where no one helps at all. Highly recommend this place. Prices also reasonable. Buy local when u can!

I went to another ACE store in my area and they were really not friendly at all. So I decided to try the one on 466 Old Post Rd. WOW helpful, friendly, gave me advice on doing a cement job. I felt like they cared. Thank You. That's the way a store should be run. Count me in as a customer going forward.

Been going here for years. This is the very model of great customer service. If you don't have time to waste meandering through the big box stores this is the place. Very very rare that they don't have exactly what I'm looking for. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

They do not open at 10 am they open when ever they feel like opening and the prices on tools and materials are way too expensive could go to Home Depot and buy double the things for their prices

I am glad they are refurbishing, but they are pricing themselves higher than other stores in the ACE HARDWARE system because of the zip code. Not a good thing to do.
