My parrot was a patient here, but don't expect to have your pet seen by Dr. Hess unless you specify this when you make an appointment. There is no reliable after-hours emergency service. Called the emergency line in 2021 and in 2022 and the answering service could not process the payment and hung on me. When my parrot flew into a window, I called the office for an emergency appointment. I was told I could bring my bird in, but there was no avian veterinarian in the office that Monday who could set my parrot's leg if needed. A veterinarian trainee examined my parrot and then proceeded to try to build up the bill with tests that would serve no purpose except to stress bird further. Had to take my parrot to an avian veterinarian in NYC. Read the Yelp reviews and you will see other clients had the same experience I did throughout many years.

Went in with our Bearded Dragon. They were ready for us and super knowledgeable! I was extremely happy with how much care they gave my Beardie and the amount of knowledge they have! If you have an exotic animal I would definitely recommend going there to see these top quality vets! Very very happy with my experience!

When you make an appointment, make sure you specify that you want Dr. Hess to see your pet. I thought I was making an appointment for Dr. Hess to see my bird, but, instead, her fellow (in training) saw my bird. The reason I brought my bird a long distance was for Dr. Hess’s experience. Instead, I got a recent veterinarian school graduate doing a fellowship, trying to learn from Dr. Hess. When I expressed my disappointment, the office staff woman said, “You didn’t specify that you wanted to see Dr. Hess.”

She's literally a star. Lucy and I couldn't dream of such encouraging care. She's an absolute blessing in our lives. And at five we've been through many misdirections or just no direction, even rough care if you can believe it. One day at a time but we've got a light to guide us now.

I had my Box turtle treated here and Also my Cockatiel. There service and knowledge is Amazing. There staff is so Kind and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone!
