The Broiled Hat Trick is delicious. I have had other dishes from here, and they are all very tasty. You won't regret getting anything from this place.They sell other items to besides seafood.

Wonderful! The BEST SASHIMI & SUSHI and great cooked seafood as well.We go here for the food, for dinner, and occasionally lunch. Atmosphere is nice & clean, but not impressive. However the food is excellent, and wait staff is generally very good and attentive. The cooked seafood we have had many times which includes Chilean Sea Bass, Salmon, Calamari, Baked Clams, Oysters Rockefeller, Bacon wrapped Scallops, and Mussels. That's just a fraction of the big selection on the menu. All excellent. AND... the newer feature there is a superb Sushi Chef - Thursday though Saturday. We have ordered Sashimi and Sushi to eat there and also for takeout - Always excellent regardless. I have to rave about the Sashimi, which is amongst the finest I have had anywhere...far better than any others in Nassau & Suffolk Counties including the Hamptons. I always order Sashimi Deluxe, and the presentation is always visually superb, and different each time. The selection of fish also varies, and is delicious, very fresh, and very generous in portions and cuts. I really can't say enough good things. The superb Sushi Chef certainly knows what he is doing and takes immense pride in his work. We have recommended The Fish Store, to many friends & acquaintances, specifically for the best Sashimi and Sushi on L.I. as well as some great cooked seafood, and all have been very pleased. A couple of photos here, but they don't even show some of the Chefs most creative and best presentations.Updated Oct. 27, 2023....We have been going here for quite awhile now. All of the seafood dinners are great, and properly cooked, we've had many. But we go there mainly for the excellent, fresh, and creative Sashimi and Sushi prepared to order by master Sushi Chef, Makoto. I always order the Sashimi Deluxe and am always a provided with a terrific selection and presentation regardless of whether we eat there or get takeout for home. The same can be said for his Specialty Sushi rolls! We love the fact that with Chef Makoto, each time what we receive is a little different, and of course delicious! I've just posted my latest photos of a Sashimi deluxe take out dinner. Simply wonderful food.Parking: Convenient, right behind the building, and enough spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they have a convenient ramp.

This seafood place was a cozy little restaurant. My wife and I celebrated restaurant week and found this spot from a Google search. This restaurant can is visible from a vehicle moving in regular traffic. Lots of parking on the side of the building. Two ways to enter and exit. There is a wheelchair-accessible ramp to enter. There was a short wait of about 10 minutes to get served. The attendant was pleasant and courteous and checked on us regularly. The food was excellent. The menu did not have much low carbs options for eats and alcoholic beverages. The restaurant had a good deal for restaurant week which ends May 1st. One restroom is available for patrons, and an adjacent convenient store under the same name. This restaurant has tables suitable for six people and catered to adults and children. I did not see high chairs in the restaurant or changing tables in the restroom.Features: Social distancing and face coverings were not required. Optional.

I stopped by the store to pick up a gift card for my father in laws birthday. A super friendly man come up and asked me if I needed help. I said that the young lady was helping me but i was contemplating getting something for myself for lunch for the ride home but couldn't decide. The young lady came up and rang me up for the gift card. The man returned to the counter and dropped off a lunch bag . He said enjoy, no one should ever go hungry. He gave me an order of shrimp with sauce for free!!! It's always comforting to see that there are still good hearted people in the world. Fantastic service. Not to mention but the shrimp were fresh and delicious.

So I just tried the lobster bisque. When I say they have the best soups at this fish market you got to get there to try them. The seafood bisque was to die for I ate a pint takeout now I'm going back for more for dinner. Also, their food is great ,fried flounder dinner my son loves, I'm the fish and chips ,their beer batter is outta this world!! So good crispy the best tartar sauce out there. I give it 10 stars but it only goes to 5, LOL.

We went there last night for dinner 11/1/2023It was sushi night and my husband had the sushi. There was such a nice spread! And it was so fresh and tasty he said! I had the flounder floritine! It was fantastic, so good! Light and a little sweet sauce. The flounder so fresh and tasty you got 2 nice size pieces of flounder and yellow rice! I also had the seafood bisque soup! So good and nice pieces of lobster! My husband had the oysters he said they were very fresh and taste great! There were 7 or 8 of them! The waitress was extremely nice and she gave me the suggestion and I'm glad she did!! Definitely will go back!! Thank you for a great dinner!!BTW we went there for lunch a month ago and the flounder Ruben was also extremely delicious!!

A really pleasant experience, the people who work there are always so happy to accommodate you, both dine in or take out is always the same, caring and friendly atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: They can help with your diet, with a variety of different types of fish and other seafood. The best thing about this store is they cook right there on the premises, I love their fried oysters and ceviche with shrimp and fresh vegetables is so refreshing.Parking: Parking is in the back of the facility. Not wheelchair accessible.

Went for an early dinner today. My son treated my husband and me because we're going through a lot of tough things since the start of this year.My son and I love sushi.I read rave reviews about this sushi chef on here...ummm, presentation, beautiful, the fact that HE believes it's HIS place, HIS right to decide what HE WANTS TO PUT ON THE CUSTOMERS PLATES, is absurd.We are long time sushi 🍣 connoisseurs. Not our first rodeo. Not impressed. Miso soup was unlike any we've EVER had...tasty yes, Miso soup. NO.Where was the tofu? Missing...flavor was NOT TRADITIONAL MISO.Huge disappointment. Definitely won't be back for SumDumFook's sushi 🍣

We have been patronizing the Fish Store for over 5 years'. This is the fist time my wife and I have been very disappointed!!!!We ordered a half tray of mussels. It was suppose to be cooked. They instructed us to pace them in the oven to heat until they opened up.THEY CAME OUT HORRIBLE!!!! I mean horrible. They opened and the inside all stuck were we couldn't even eat them. We ended up troughing the entire tray out in the garbage.It ruined our Christmas eve dinner!!!!Never again !!!!!

Much better then expected, First time there , nice small resturant style eating area . Fish store in the front, resturant in the back . Food portions were great and the food was even better. Will be back againParking: Parking is at the rear of the building with a side entrance, going right brings you to the restaurant and going left brings you to the Fish store on e you enter.

It takes a lot for me to leave a poor review, but this I feel is warranted…. I ordered Chilean Seabass with lemon butter herb sauce. Another choice on the menu was lemon butter dill sauce which I did not want.I also ordered a pint of New England clam chowder and fried calamari. I did have it delivered, due to my car in the shop. (The Chilean Seabass was for me). When I opened the container there was a small fillet, that was OK based on the price, smothered in a yellow sauce with tons of dill. I took a bite and it tasted like pickled fish. The coleslaw which I wanted, was also swimming in dill sauce. The New England clam was a cup instead of a pint.I called The Fish Store, since I did not have my car, and was put on hold and passed around – each time I explained that that the sauce was dill and that there was way too much of it. The first person I told that I was charged for a pint of soup and received a cup – I was told that was a Grubhub issue and left that alone – back to the Chilean Seabass. The last person, I would assume was the manager – told me I ordered Herb (with the H) and that Dill was a herb…. I understand, I explained, but this is “all dill”. I also said I would be happy to send a picture if she would like. No – Dill is a herb and there is nothing we can do for you.Based on my Customer Service experience …. not to mention the uneatable meal – I will not be returning, nor recommending The Fish Store– below is a picture of my seabass – I did not take a pic of the entire meal (hindsight..) When I went to post this review I saw another picture of the Chilean Seabass - WOW!!

An actual fish store in front and a 10 table restaurant in back. Very simple decor, yet pretty. Huge menu with every sort of seafood, fish and sauce combinations. Ample and elegant meals at beyond reasonable prices. The photo below is the crab stuffed salmon with mashed potatoes and veg. I could only finish half of it. I'm already looking forward to the 2nd half!For some reason, they play the lite music station from Ireland in the restaurant. Go here and ENJOY!

Walked in with my wife and son at 6:45. Half the tables were empty. I’m a very patient person, but my family waited to be acknowledged for 5 minutes as staff walked back and forth. My wife then got the attention of the server, she said she’d be right with us. Fine. Waited 10 more minutes very patiently, as again the staff kept avoiding looking at us. After 15 minutes, we walked out. Not one word from the staff. That’s much longer than most people would wait patiently and quietly. Very unprofessional. Was looking forward to eating there.

Nice food and quite an assortment of options, some of which can be fried, sauteed, broiled, etc. My order came to just over $50. I paid $40 in cash and the balance on my credit card, but no receipt for cash was provided. This is not a sound practice. They could be "hiding" cash. Makes one wonder.

Food was awesome! Prices reasonable fish was so fresh! The only problem I had was that I couldn't have my French fries or zucchini sticks because they fry everything in the same oil as shrimp & other shell fish & I'm extremely allergic to all shell fish!! I wish they had a separate oil for people who can't have shell fish that's my only complaint. If you have an allergy PLEASE Inform Them

Love eating here. Small dining room with a large personable atmosphere. Food is plenty and it tastes great. Place is nice & clean, even the bathroom. Service and servers are great. The establishment is a great low key comfortable place to enjoy a wonderful meal.
