Me and my wife went to Stop & Shop at 533 Montauk highway Bayshore New York . What peppers Poland Spring water. The sign they have for Spring water Is sitting right on top of the Poland Spring water. As the picture shows. So I misunderstood the sign. And I bought a 4 pack of peppers. So the bill came out to $33.99. I said there couldn't be. Again I misunderstood the sign. The problem is when I went to return the water I had just stepped out the store and I turned around and went back in. To return the water and the lady at the customer service department. I believe she is the manager. Was very very sarcastic And not what I would Expect From my supervisor. I wish I could record a conversation to get the money back. But what she did say was being that I picked up the pollen Spring water instead of the Natural Spring water. What's very Confusing to me as she said why didn't the register give you the price. Well because then the lady worked in a register would have been wrong and she would have gotten trouble. Anyway Me and my wife always went to the store but with this incident and treated was not good so I'm not going back in the store anymore.

Strawberry produce in this store is molded and spoiled the peppers are all old has big inside it seems to be a common thing in this store . I highly recommended going to another stop and shop and don’t then god forbid you open them all you see if it’s mold and sale associates at nasty oils who doesn’t wash there fruit that is nasty sir come up with a better excuse because wasting money on strawberries that go bad in a day isn’t worth it . Didn’t realize opening the package of strawberries to check for molded strawberries was a crime. Fruits and vegetables shop else were trying to sell people old molded fruits so horrible.

Bad day Lisa ? Smh I shop there every day , and I always get a cashier that’s helpful and nice , I’ve never had a bad experience until today , she was puffing and rude , just because I was purchasing a meat that was on sale and I made her walk to ask her manager about the price. This is my favorite supermarket and is very uncomfortable to deal with someone with an attitude when is not even rush hour .

I shop at your store in Bay Shore and spend hundreds of dollars every week. I try to buy anything that has go points attached to them. I can't tell you how many times for some reason they do not show up on my receipt and I have to go to customer service to have it corrected. Sometimes I have to go thru my shopping cart to show that I've bought what I've said I did to get my points. It is very aggrevating to say the least.Today was my worst experience ever. I purposely bought the require amount to get the 500 points but it did not show up on my receipt. I then went to customer service & spoke to the women there who was very rude and wanted to talk over me when I tried explaining. She called over someone else and was telling her that all my extra points added to 500 and when I tried to tell her that this was an extra 500 points and she told me she wasn't talking to me. I told her that is not the way to speak to a customer. The person she was speaking to (a manager?) explained to her what I was trying to say that the points are listed separately. This woman did give me the points.Obviously there is something wrong that the register does not recognize when you purchase the dollar amount called for but it is different items. Also the customer service in Bay Shore at least they do not seem to know how the go points work and the customer has to be diligent about checking their receipt.This happens often but what really got me today was the customer service person's rudeness for no reason, just because I was questioning something your store promotes. As I said I shop there weekly especially for the points. I could shop in another store that has better prices and more variety.

I’ve always shopped at Stop and Stop, but this was my first time at the Bay Shore location since I am new to town. I’d rather travel to a different location all because of my checkout experience. My cashier couldn’t acknowledge my greeting, thank you’s, nothing! He was too busy having inappropriate discussions with other the male cashiers. Have those talks on your break, not when there’s kids or anyone around for that matter.

Went there today did a bottle return- had to goto cust serv to cash in receipts. Women behind counter called me over but client was still at her counter so she told me 2 put receipts under plastic wall- where change fell behind behind her on floor. She literally started yelling scolding me for that. no pic or name tag to know her name. Horrible cust serv there- wouldn't recommend this store 2 anyone

Terrible service. 5pm rush hour and only 2 lines out of 8 are open. The “cashiers” move like pond water. The self checkout line is a mile long with people with 20 or more items and 50 coupons. There should be a limit at the self checkout and those people should have to go to a cashier. Then the cashier Maureen I believe gives me an attitude when I mention it and she goes “you’ll come back anyway”. Very rude and a terrible system

I had to grab 2 quarters from my car which was right outside. The self checkout lady legit told me to “hurry up”. Very rude and uncalled for; I’m a young woman, it’s not like I walk or move slowly. I asked very politely if it was okay for me to go, she could’ve cancelled the transaction and had me go to the back of the line if that was what she was concerned about.

Stop n Shop your time has come, GO!!! Please go away, this store is ridiculous. Your prices are very high, that’s bad enough, but no , insult to injury, they have 10 check out lines and only open one??? 4:30pm ok I’ll have to go do self checkout because the one line is way to long. Oh look at this only 3 of the 6 are open so there’s a huge line to self Checkout, hey we are paying hefty prices for your groceries at least give us a Little bit of customer service, I don’t want to feel like I’m on line in the DMV!!!! Rant over, time to shop somewhere else, bye bye Stupid Shop…….. ✌🏼

This location needs to hire more staff especially on a Saturday. The deli counter was backed up with 1 person servicing the kiosk and 1 person servicing waiting customers. Short staffed everywhere and I can understand why people instacart grocery shopping 🛍 which is a hassle to begin with. Bring your own bags and self checkout, customer service is declining in all stores. Sad.

I had a bit of a problem at the self check out register my digital coupon wasn't going through. The employee working that area was no help at all, she said it takes 2 or 3 hrs for the coupon to work, I never heard of such a response. Usually the digital coupons work right away as soon as you down load them. People download them right in the store all the time.. What was I suppose to do stand there for 2 or 3 hrs. I asked for a supervisor she never got one. I left my older children at the register went to customer service to ask for a supervisor. He came Steve, told me to ring it up that way with the wrong price and customer service will fix it. I simply said are you sure because I don't want it to be any problems. I was thinking to myself he would just go over to the register and manually put in the discount , honestly the employee should have been able to do that. His response was very sarcastically shrugging his shoulders and everything "I just told you that" he was very rude. People don't know what other people are going through treat people how you want to be treated. I really didn't need that rudeness from him or the incompetence of the employee. I just lost my mother. Some training needs to happen with some of the employees and management. The customer service person Linda I believe was very nice.

This store is very clean, well stocked and organized. They have a lot of products that other supermarkets don't carry. Their prices are somewhat higher on certain items but overall competitive. The only negative I have to give is for the deli department. Twice I went in to order some cold cuts and noticed at least three people working in the deli but only one person slicing despite a growing line. One young man was cleaning the glass on one occasion right in front of me. I politely asked if anyone else was going to assist customers and was told the person who was on the slicer was almost done. When I was younger and worked retail and at Shoprite in the deli department we were trained to make the customer the priority. If we were doing something such as ," cleaning glass" and saw a line we would retreat to the slicer and assist the next customer and get the line down. Afterwards we would return to the task we were involved in.

Nice clean store. Most everyone is nice except the lady that works in the flowers shop..what a real charmer she is ! But i will not let her spoil my experience. Also there is a pharmacy inside.

I have tried buying fruit from this stop and shop at least six times in the last several months on Sundays and they are all consistently growing mold in the store. Not one box of organic raspberries without mold beginning to grow. First time I went to customer service after purchasing because I didn’t realize until I got home and they told me to pick a new one. I let them know that there were none without mold. Tonight I went in again and with no surprise it was all growing mold again. I went to let customer service know that they should check their deliveries or their refrigeration temperature but there was no one at the customer service desk.

Milk was 60¢ more a gallon than my neighborhood Stop and Shop. Many of the sales items weren't marked on a Thursday afternoon. It's as if they pulled down the sales tickets in order to get prepared for next days sales. Left store without getting everything I needed because of the pricing.
