My husband and I had a GREAT experience. We went in the store for a quick purchase and left with an assortment of fish, supplies, and best of all an educational experience that we won't forget. Mo was the sales associate who helped us and he was so patient and knowledgeable. He gave us a whole education about our fish tank care and maintenance. Our fish tank is beautiful and healthy thanks to him. He is a real asset to the company and we will definitely be going back.

I went there with my girlfriend and had questions about our new cat. The staff was not helpful at all and referred us to read instructions in the package of products when we personally wanted to ask extended questions. Maybe employ people who are knowledgeable and are willing to help customers in need next time?

I usually go to this location. I bought a Quaker Parrot from here about a year ago and it was the best purchase I made!! The young man who helped me was so nice and patient! He actually took the time out to talk to me about the parrot and everything she needed. He was very knowledgeable. A Year later and my bird is still healthy and loving.

Petco has stepped up a little bit lately. Used to never have live crickets, now they have plenty. Fish selection is better than ever. The Goby was cool looking, lots of cichlids, guppies I hadn't seen, beautiful fancy goldfish, and the variety of beta fish being bred these days is insane. I only feed my dogs their brand of food. I really want the panther chameleon they have but it's a little too pricey for me and I have enough animals to take care of already but he is awesome. Staff is always friendly, and my dogs love going here.

This Petco is the best place to find all your pets supplies, and grooming needs. The manager Caitlin is sweet, caring, and very helpful. She took the time to explain everything I needed, and showed me different options. She has to be the life blood of that store. I actually left happier than when I walked in.

On 4/17/24 My wife tried to drop ouff our two six and a half month Cavashon puppies to be groomed. They had an appointment with Roxanne that quickly turned left. After standing without being acknowledged by the staff, Roxanne finally initiated a rude, unprofessional and disgraceful encounter over how rabies information would be exchanged. She rudely started a side conversation with her co worker after expressing annoyance over the question if said information can be emailed or faxed by vet. Instead of de-escalating the situation she doubled down by refusing to service our puppies. This is her job! She refused to do it after being rude and unprofessional! I have contacted Petco corporate and we are awaiting a satisfactory conclusion to this terrible experience. We have been customers since 2009. Not anymore.

We love bringing our dogs to this PetCo! Love that we can use all the services with The Vital Care program. Of course we pick up a lot of supplies there. Everyone there is always willing to help! Alyssa is our groomer and she is wonderful. VETCO side is no rinky-dink vet either! They are full service and amazing with our pups! Shout out to Dr Caufield who is THE best! They are accommodating and every single person that weāve met along the way has been pleasant and caring. Our last vet experience was a disaster so we feel so grateful to have found this place!!

I have been going back and forth trying to get my cats order to be approved. We have the prescriptions and spoke to our vet and everything is authorized. My cat is on a special diet and no one has been helpful. The system in which you use to have this completed is ATROCIOUS! Every single order has been cancelled and no one is able to understand why. Now I was told itās my vets fault and they made me aware that is incorrect that your system is faulty and this happens often and itās due to how you input information. And all your reps give incorrect information. I have been dealing with this for almost a month a half and have spoken to possibly 7 representatives and 1 supervisor all for this to still not be addressed. The lack of care for the animals coming from a pet store is sad and shows a terrible representation for your company.

My appointment was scheduled for 10am and the second at 1030am, so I arrived at 9:50am, on 03-12-23, at that time the door was still closed, but at that time an employee was entering , and he let me and another person who also had an appointment enter. We headed to the vaccination area, and when the staff who worked there saw us enter, they began to shout in a rude manner saying that who had opened the door for us, also saying that we had forced the door to enter, the employee who opened the door for us The door was silent there, I don't know if it was because of fear, but it didn't say anything.It seems like a disrespectful way in which they expressed themselves, since we were keeping an appointment, where they told us that we would have to be 10 minutes early. They are all rude to customers, they have no respect for customers.You need to give training to all the staff, on how to treat customers well, because all the disrespectful, rude, rude people, especially when the customers are Hispanic, just yesterday, 03/12/23, which was my appointment, they were talking among them making very rude comments, they thought that I and the other person who were waiting for the appointment did not speak English, but we understood perfectly everything they were talking about.They were upset because an employee there opened the door for us 10 minutes before opening. Maybe she was having an off day but the cashier last night (12/26/23) was one of the rudest people I have ever met. Been to this location dozens of times for supplies and grooming for both my dogs and this may have been my last. I had to wait for a cashier to show up at the front counter, I when I asked if there was a cashier around I got "I'll be there in a minute" in a very snotty tone. Big puss on her face during the whole transaction. If you hate your job that much find something a different one.

I brought my dog to the vet hospital and there are long waits there but everyone is friendly. No complaints there. The real issue is the grooming salon. We brought our dog there and it took 7 hours. He came out looking like a rat, he was completely shaved. Then he went on to shake for days and 2 days later started vomiting to the point he was throwing up blood. $1k at the doggy ER and a round of antibiotics, turns out both ears had under his fur, giant infected cuts the grooming salon failed to notify me about beyond "he didn't like getting his ears trimmed". This place is a scam. We spent $70 on grooming for a terrible outcome and then had to spend even more because they infected him and didn't tell us. Disgusting. Worst place ever. We almost lost our 1 year old dog due to the carelessness of petco.First photo is before, second is after, and third is waiting at the doggy er after he threw up blood.

I went into the store looking for a particular item for my dog's birthday. Although I did not find what I was looking for, when I went up front to the registers to ask for help the man informed me that they didn't have it in store. I explained why I wanted it and he recommended me another item. I took a look and I did in fact by what he recommended. As long as it makes my doggy happy. Very helpful and friendly. Awesome job.

This is by far the best Petco location I have ever been to! Itās farther than the closest one to me but I will be making the drive! All the workers are extremely friendly and you can tell they love animals!

Petco might have saved my frogās life. Today I was worried about my aquatic frog who hasnāt been the same since I changed out his water. I brought in a small sample of my aquarium water and was looking for help about reading the results. (FYI I fully intended to buy my own strips, etc.) and my surprise when the employee tested the water for free and explained everything to me. Turns out all my levels were fine, but the water in my tank was extremely āhardā.This information allowed me to figure out what I needed to do to balance my aquarium.I ended up purchasing a pack of strips so I can use just how she explained to me. Thanks Petco :)

Had to hunt for the hay I needed for our pet with very little help from staff. A guy just standing around pointed me to the general area instead of bringing me to the proper place. They have what I need. I just had to hunt for it myself.

Went here to get the yearly vaccination for our gut baby. Service for us was quick & easy. Now service for the couple before us was not so good because they did not speak English. Thankfully I was able to translate for them and their fur baby was vaccinated. The staff should have a translation app available when these things occur.

This store offers a lot of stuff/services for your pet. I especially like the wide assortment of cat food to choose from. I also like that the cashiers are almost always nice and friendly- so important for a business! I have found places with slightly better prices, but the assortment is not there and the employees are generally glued to their phones like zombies- which I have not seen at Petco, so I much prefer to shop at PecCo!!!

We have been taking our dog to Vetco for heartworm treatment. The entire staff has been amazing each time we are there. They are caring and go above and beyond my expectations! Iām so glad we found this location!

I brung my 15week old pitbull to get her shots, the staff was super knowledgeable, also the trainers were extremely helpful with advice on raising my pup. The store was clean and appeared fully stocked, great experience.

The fish area in the Bayshore location is always completely destroyed. And most have like 10 dead fish in each tank. Every fish I ever bought has died. And not to mention there NEVER a team member in the fish area. So disappointing š

I am at this Petco weekly and the place is always clean and the service I get in the aquarium and reptile department (especially one younger woman that is ALWAYS willing to help) is phenomenal. We will be adding a dog to our family soon and I wouldnāt go anywhere else for supplies.

Staff is always super nice and helpful.BTW I saw a review quite a few ppl below mine....Chris Liopyras is the user...I understand you having an unsatisfactory experience at the store...and even having an unpleasant encounter with an associate working there...for you to call this woman out about her work ethic is one thing but then to follow it up with "ugly arm tattoos" if this was to help other viewers of your review become "aware" of said associate you could have just mentioned her arm tattoos and not degraded her by calling them ugly. To each their own. Who are you to judge. Its disgraceful the way we have become as a society that we automatically fall victim to name calling and berating when something doesnt go the way we hoped or planned.. Hopefully this doesn't fall on deaf ears. You can get your point across just as well by being a decent human being! š
