I was in this place 3 month agoI ask for a breakfast sandwich ..spinach , turkey , mozzarella cheese ,l, eggs in a toasted bagel .when I get back to my job and opened bagel didn’t get toast it was regular cheese and not eggs . I came back Wednesday this week give second chance without said anything.I did order same sandwich.. this time I request a toasted roll . Second bad experience bread was burned..place has good loyal costumer and that must made them get over confortable. Hope they care little more

The food is good but there's a white man that works there and on my last 2 visits he berates a very tall Spanish lady that works the counter. The tall lady is so nice and professional and then you have that white man talking to her so rude and unprofessional in front of all the customers. When I come for breakfast or lunch again and witness this, I will say something to him...

i will never order from this place again. everytime i order something they forget something or give me the wrong item or get something wrong. it’s not hard to read an order to make sure it’s correct before you package it. they didn’t put the dressing i paid extra for in the bag leaving me with a plain piece of chicken in a wrap. paula said she would come drop off the dressing since i was only 3 min drive away (car is in the shop) and she never did. waited 15 min and nothing so i called they said she was out delivering it. another 15 min goes by i call again and she picks up the the store phone and says “ i went there and you didn’t answer the knock on the door!!! “ and i’m like dude i was sitting on my porch waiting for you the entire time you OBVIOUSLY got the wrong address…and maybe would’ve been smart to ask me my phone # before hanging up so quickly after you said you were coming. better yet the deli had my # because i called them several times but she wasn’t smart enough to ask for it or call the deli and ask what it was before she “supposedly” left my house. she kept insisting she had the right address meanwhile i was sitting on my porch for an hour for her AND have a ring camera on top of this that shows me sitting on my porch with no one in sight the entire time. at this point i’m just annoyed she’s calling me a liar when clearly she was at the wrong place made no attempt to contact me and i have physical video proof. it’s not even about the dressing it’s her utter denial, calling me a liar, and her being rude when she’s the one who messed up several times. she kept hanging up on me and wouldn’t refund me saying i need to call doordash in which i did and they told me the store needed to refund me on their end bc it was a mistake on their end not doordash in which she refused. these people have proven to be unreliable several times if you order something don’t expect to get what you ordered and don’t expect anyone to be kind or understanding or take any sort of accountability.

"SORRY, WE'RE A LITTLE BUSY!"That was the response I got when the place itself decided to deliver the food, instead of one of many people who deliver through Grub Hub. I ordered food because time is limited, since there's a lot to do to help my father's continual recovery from a stroke while not being able to take off from work. If the place is busy, let the workers out there deliver the food instead of delivering it yourself.Only reason it's not a one star rating is because the food is as expected.

Been going here for 3 years, Service is Good, prices are steep, 3.00 for bottled water and then today 11.60 for a small bowl of shells and sauce. I was outraged. This guy is just overpriced and this is what i get for 3 years of loyalty. I am done, I take my 125.00 a week business elsewhere. Nothing worse then getting ripped off !!!

bought on grubhub. delivery person said I owed extra 4 dollars due to change in price from computer system. that is on the deli to fix. not on me. and philly cheese steak had hard old roast beef. not steak ums. very bad. said thin sliced steak. not thick hard roast beef.

Horrible experience. Stopped in on the way to the ferry with plenty of time to grab a sandwich some drinks and head over.After waiting 20 minutes, while watching people stand around behind the glass they finally started making the sandwiches.After the first ten minutes the guy at the register tells us they're working on it. Then another five minutes the guy making the sandwiches let's us know they have a lot of online orders. After 20 minutes we asked the guy how much longer to which he says "I don't know they're making it. There were orders before yours".Mind you when we got in there was 1 person ahead of us and 1 person waiting. We now watched five other groups come and go after us plus the people before us go. After the 20 minutes the guy started making our sandwiches as we can literally see through the window.Horrible experience. Slow beyond belief. Random I'm assuming employees coming in but not working as they look like they went for a run just walking around chatting with everyone sweating on everything.Avoid if you want your food in a timely manner or don't want sweat all over it.

Purchased a Too good to go surprise bag that should have a value of $15.00. What was received was an omelette and two bagels. The staff wasn’t overly friendly and the deli was a hole in the wall dive bar version of a deli. NOT impressed, will not be returning.

I don’t know how there is some reviews here saying friendly service, what have experienced at this deli is nothing good won’t go back, I know businesses are having hard time but is just like everyone else in this times, the least they can can do is respect the customers and serve decent food but the prices are so high!!! And not good at all, how is it a discount if you pay cash? Also please have the cashier cut her nails she is handling food and money and didn’t saw her washing her hands in between

WORST DELI EVER!!!! My family and I found this place last week and thought wow what a great spot the first time we ordered food everything was great hot and tasty. But we were fooled cause every time after we got burnt and cold food delivered. When calling and talking to the guy (supposedly the manager) he was rude and telling me how I ordered my food then when I disagreed with him he hung up on me. I then called back and he started yelling at me telling me not to come there anymore. How do you do business with this old grumpy man that seems like he doesn’t want to be bothered by people. Well I guess I won’t be a patron anymore and I will be telling plenty of people not to get any food from this place again.

Visited the East Islip location, when I first walked in I had to step over a vacuum cleaner. Three employees behind the counter & no one came out from around the counter to move the vacuum. 3-4 more customers walked in behind me and were tripping over the vacuum. I ordered the “Yankee Stadium” it was very good. The vacuum beat all though, that’s why I only rated 4 stars!!

Personally, I am the type to order on the phone and pick it up. So most morning i call in my order then make my way down there to pick it up haha. Entering you will see that they have a nice coffee station and a WIDE variety of beverages to offer. As well they have a nice open fridge that contains fruits, yogurts and etc. After seeing everything they have to offer I am greeted by this gentleman named Mike who is truly a one of a kind. Compassionate and joyful human being that appreciates life and loves what he does. This place is very family like they see your face often they become happier in a genuine way.

I walked in today and specifically asked the young girl behind the counter if the bread was fresh she said yes it was, unfortunately it was not. To pay $15.00 for chips a drink and a ham and Swiss is disgraceful when the hero bread is dry and hard and I had to remind her about my Mac salad that comes with my order. Im not happy and will never return. First time shame on you second time shame on me. You need to do better by the public with the prices you charge.

I was just at Grace deli this morning and as usual they are awesome! My boyfriend ordered a complicated, extremely large breakfast hero and they made it perfect! also I had ordered a platter and there was a slight misunderstanding on the order, they instantly corrected it and adjusted the price accordingly, definitely one of the top delis in Suffolk!

Only visited this place twice and it was my last time. My daughter and I ordered breakfast. She was told if we use cash we get a discount. We ordered two bagels with cream cheese and bacon and were charged almost $7 a piece. What makes matters worse is the bacon was scarce and tasted and crumbled like it was old and reheated. Never again.

BEWARE!!!! The food is great, but if you’re paying with your card through the phone, they will yell out loud your card info to where everyone can hear. They have it written down with the receipt and sent with the driver as well. Pay with cash if you dont want your card info thrown out there.

Bought an 8$ sandwich, a 10$ bowl of pasta, and a bottle of water. My total came to about 29$.I don’t think I’m going to order from here again, which is a shame because the food wasn’t half bad.If you are going to eat here make SURE you get a receipt and be ready to do a little math.

While the prices seem decent, don't let it fool you. They tack on 50¢ extra PER TOPPING.This includes but not limited to, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, salt, pepper, vinegar etc. That's right salt alone cost 50¢. So if you want salt and pepper and ketchup, that's an extra $1.50 on TOP of advertised price.Food is decent, cold cuts won't be heated if asked especially if you only spend the bare minimum. Heck, spend anything less than $7, you're treated as an non entity. May be slight racism I'm picking up as another African American patron who spent $10 was treated with less enthusiasm than a white gentleman who bought a slight less meal (white male was given a smile and excessively pleasant service). But nothing blatantly overt. Best to come here if desperately hungry and on the go if nearby. Not an every day thing. Also I was charged tax while three white patrons we're given a flat fee. And we all paid cash.Lastly, the cashier says really outlandish things that would be a wrie up in any other retail establishment. For example she tried to tell someone where they're from based on their accent and questioned them when they said they weren't of that origin. Can be very snarky and condescending. And just doesn't know when to not speak. Not appealing
