Would be zero stars after today's experience. Will definitely go out of the way to avoid. The one and only front of store employee had 2 people in line at his register, 1 person needed assistance at self check out the other self check out was out of service and I needed the oil of Olay moisturizer unlocked. He called for a manager, she peeked out from behind a door and as he began to ask for help she closed the door.First issue: having to ask for lotion to be unlocked...makes me feel like a criminal, waste my time having to find someone to unlock glass cabinet, and alludes to an unsafe environment.Second issue: the management was a no show when her staff and customers needed her help.Do better and I may return, will definitely steer clear and encourage others to avoid.

Just witnessed the manager Tara “correct” an employee in front of customers on the salesfloor. All because the man had them come up front, instead of calling. She had an attitude and I felt so bad for the worker. The worker Johnathan that got corrected is so nice and friendly, he didn’t deserve that. Unprofessional, manager.

My infant son is sick and was in need of a specific kind of infant pediatlie that isn't super easy to come by. I called this store to ask if they had it in stock. I was lucky enough to have gotten Christina, a manager, on the phone. She went above and beyond and searched thestore AND even had me read the upc to her so that she could verify that she had it in stock. I can't express how thankful I am for her service.

I’m not sure why everyone gives this pharmacy a bad review. It’s a CVS, what do you expect? You go in, get your fungal cream, stand behind an old lady who takes too long and asks way to many questions of the pharmacist, and then you get some candy on the way out cause you hate your life. If anything, I found the pharmacy department quite helpful. Manpreet, the pharmacist, answered my questions about condom application and usage. Also, she gave me first hand advice from what her husband said he likes as well. He’s in a band or something she says. Anyway, Rock solid experience. Not with the store, just the pharmacist.

I love cvs. The store manager Debra is a rockstar. Very hands on. Chips when where needed. She makes sure her customers all well taken care of. They greet you with hello and welcome. I just love them

I have never written a review before but this one is worth it. On Saturday 5/23/20 between 12:45 and 1:15 pm I was picking up a prescription for my son and an employee was helping me when a lady came in, and I assume she was the manager because she talked like she had some kind of authority over everyone. She was yelling at the employees and the customers about social distancing even though we were all 6 feet apart and wearing masks. You could see how intimidated and embarrassed her coworkers were. Even though they were only six people inside the waiting area for prescriptions she got mad and told everyone to leave and come back in 10 to 15 minutes or “whatever.” She told me specifically to leave even though I was being helped by one of the pharmacists. I said I couldn’t leave without my insurance card and I asked if they would call me or email me when my turn was up. She said “come back in 10 or 15 minutes or whatever”. So I did come back in 10 to 15 minutes and she was still yelling and intimidating her coworkers. She also intimidated me and a couple of other customers but I ignored her. She should be thankful that she is still employed unlike others during this pandemic and stop taking advantage of her position. Sadly I did not grab her name but I hope this is enough information.

OMG!!! I do not usually take the time to do this, but I am so angry that I don't know what else to do. I have been on hold for over 1 hour to speak to someone in the pharmacy. Frustrated, I then called the store and asked for the store manager and they told me that the pharmacy has their own manager Ryan and that I would need to speak to him. They would transfer me to him. Still on hold now 20 minutes. This is completely unacceptable. I will have all my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. This is AWFUL!! How do you run a department that does not answer the phone?? I am giving it 1 star because it will not post my comments without giving it something.

I am not a person to write reviews but I’ve been really holding back with how rude the managers and one employee by the name of “Joan” is. I always shop peacefully and every now and then I may have a few problems with the machines and some coupons not showing up. I’m always very kind and respectful when trying to ask for help to resolve the problem but, I always receive a nasty attitude in return. They really need to check their managers and that employee because it’s no wonder this location has many 1 star reviews always complaining about managers and how they treat their customers! It’s part of their job to help others in need but everytime someone asks for help they always disengage and have the worst attitudes on the planet!

Our Doctor ordered needles for my insulin, these guys sold insulin needles to me yesterday 8/8/18. It turned out that these were the wrong needles, so I decided to return the needles today 8/9/2018. These guys refused to take an unopened box. They told me that "once something goes out of pharmacy, we don't take it back." When I was about to leave, I saw the expiration date on the needles. The expiration date on needles were 11/17 (November, 2017). They had to take the needles back, which worked out in my favor, but the thing to notice is: THESE GUYS SELL EXPIRED MEDICINE(s). These needles were 8 months past expiry. I highly suggest that you pick different pharmacy, and if you are stuck with these guys, make sure to read the expiration date.On top of this, the pharmacy staff was extremely rude that they started to ignore my concerns and ignore the fact that these needles were expired. The person who I was dealing with (Valencia) started yelling at me and ended up calling pharmacist who was also rude. I will never recommend this location to anyone who needs medicine.

So this pharmacy likes to fill your prescription with medicine manufacturered in India or China. Aurobindo Pharm is one of there most used. Goto FDA.GOV and see all the FDA negative findings since 2013, and as recent as August of 2021. I requested that all my generic medicine be filled with American manufacturered products. They agreed, made a "special order" so I call the manufacturer they ask for the numbers or letters on the pill. They said that medication was manufacturered in India and "distributed" in the United States. So when I asked this CVS why they fill prescriptions with drugs manufactured in India and China. They responded that would be a question for corporate as they tell them to do that. So I call corporate and they say they have no idea why u was told that. They do not tell them to use India and China manufacturered prescriptions. So they followed up with the store manager. Who emailed me. I said I was availible to speak with him any day any time he is available. Well still waiting for that phone call. Also this store is forcing there cashier to ring on the self checkout registers even if the customer does not want to use that. Machines don't contribute to society. Machines don't pay payroll taxes, they don't contribute to Medicare, state or federal taxes or pay union dues.

If I could give anything less than 1 I would. The “MANAGER” is very rude and disrespectful. Doesn’t not want to help you! I never really like coming to this one but I needed 1 picture printed. I had originally sent it to the other cvs but their printer was down (wish I knew before I sent it there) and the lady at the counter told me to come here (big mistake) that they would help me print it. I went up to the “manager” to tell her the situation but she already had an attitude… I tried very hard not to react.. I said I needed a picture printed.. and before I could finish she goes “the printer is there” I said “no, I already ordered it online” she said “what’s the last name and started looking for it… I wanted to tell her that it needs to be printed but she just wouldn’t listen!!!!! She couldn’t find it! I said I had ordered it at the other cvs and she goes “then you need to go ick it up there” and walks away… before I lost itI just walked away… I called corporate and had them change my pick up location to a different location. It’s far from me but I rather drive 100 miles than ever come here. The lady apologized for the way I was treated … that’s fine and all but these people are still not helping customers and being rude. This place needs new management ASAP!!

This store is horrible! The pharmacy is a joke especially when said person cannot read the prescription and needs to call help to read it. He actually needed glasses yet had none! They do not tell you that your script is not due to be filled. You go back I to pick it up and than they tell you that.I refuse to shop for hair dye, shampoo, cosmetics while you have to listen to a announcement that somebody will help you in a minute and they are aware of the fact that you are in the store!! The pan handlers outside are an annoyance and the men urinating on the building in full view of Main Street is a reflection on the store! Go to the East Islip store it is run like a business also helpful and friendly!

480 mantauk hwy. bay shore. Horrible service. I called the pharmacy 8 times. Had me on hold 8 times and phone hands up on. I get there at 6pm and this lady tells me I can’t pick up the prescriptions for my 3 year old because computers are “shutting down” for maintenance. I stormed out and my husband goes and to ask about it and she let him pick it up!!! Really. Couldn’t just let me get it while I was there. Insane.

On the day we are trying to decorate the house for Christmas we ran out of tree lights. We asked the manager if there was some in the back. Her response was “Yes, but there is a heavy box in front of them in the back and we are not going to move it for you. You can come back next week, maybe we will put them out by then if we get to it.” I’m new to the area and I am not accustomed to such rude, ilmanaged, and carefree employees. I will definitely not shop here.

I used to work there in 2015 & let me tell u it was a living hell. The same people shop there 24/7 You may think this is good but its highly annoying. Rude customers, Barely any staff. The cashiers have to Do EVERYTHING in the store. Managers barely help. People call out 24/7 honestly if your thinking of shopping there PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Give yourself and the employees a break because they dont want to deal with you. Trust me I know them. Go to another CVS or a walgreens or something.

The store itself and it’s employees are wonderful, but the pharmacy is a mess. They just let the phone ring, they don’t even bother to ever answer. There is always a huge line, but they don’t bother to have more than one person taking care of that. And if they tell you your prescription will be ready in an hour, it’s more like 3-4 hours.

At the moment I’m very dissatisfied with the pharmacy service. My doctor called in a prescription to this pharmacy yesterday, and had to leave a voicemail because no one would pick up the phone. This CVS claims that they never received a voicemail. I’ve asked my doctor to send in my prescription to a different pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy to go to unless you like waiting 20 minutes for your prescription. One time I went up to the counter when there was no line and I still waited almost 10 minutes for someone to help me even though there were 5 people working.

The pharmacy at this CVS is constantly understaffed and I’ve had so many negative experiences here. I switched to a local pharmacy last year, but used CVS today as a last resort. Never, ever again.

Pharmacy wait time is straight outrageous wait time,my doctor sent prescription and I go to pharmacy literally 3 hours wait on 45 minutes on line and my prescriptions still not ready.you kidding me seriously.Please GOD tell google to allow you to give 0 stars because this corporate pharmacies are getting out of hand.Just unacceptable company feeding of people.you have 3 pick up computers use all 3 not just 1.If you do not have enough employees hire more.This pharmacy needs to fire there manager immediately.ooohh and I still waited for my meds after all that another 50 minutes,come on people.Who ever read this run from any CVS pharmacy and go support local pharmacies aleast they are friendly.
