Great Store for fish! I got many fish including 2 Oscars, a fire eel, African cichlids, Gourami's, tetras and many more fish from here. The fish are great quality and they seem healthy. the service is really good and they inform you on all the fish. Prices are great for the quality of the fish. The fish are beautiful and very well kept. I will gladly continue to shop with Caribbean Blue Aquatic's.

We've been in three times now. Setting up a tank. Picking up some live plants and supplies. The owners are helpful and always seem to be working. But, they take their time to slow down and help us. For beginner fish keeper like we are, its nice to have this store close by.

⚠️Not a safe space for people with intellectual disabilities, discriminatory against people with intellectual disabilities.⚠️For context, I frequent this store a lot. I like to visit here just to look at all the fish, and i have never been charged a fee to just look at the fish. I came with my two clients who are intellectually disabled. Theres an asian lady who works at this store. Shes usually very nice and helpful. One of my clients mentioned that there was an alligator head in one of the tanks. She looked at him without saying anything, took the head out of the tank, and walked away as if she was annoyed. I thought this was very strange— but i brushed it off. Soon after the owner approached us and said that we need to pay a 25 dollar fee to look at the fish. Admittedly, I thought he was joking so i walked away— however he began to follow us and threaten to call the cops, and take our license plate. We ended up leaving, and he followed us out the store and wrote down our license plate and walked away. I returned inside the store to speak to another employee. I asked the employee why the owner was acting that way and the employee explained that he had a bad experience with someone who was disabled… So he and the asian lady just discriminate against all intellectually disabled people who walk in his store— the other employees are kind and understanding.I used to love this store very much, however i will no longer come here due to this distasteful experience.

DO NOT BUY HEAR. I brought. A tank for 300$ they sat other items on top of it for storage and dented the plastic to the tank I of course knew this when the tank was out of the box and in my house. They refused my refund and the guy yelled at me and hung up very rude staff I wouldn’t spend a dime here again.

I DONT UNDERSTAND. two gears ago I took these nice pictures you see below.for their business to grow, but everytime I come here they have this bad actitud towards their customers.I was donating $200 worth of fish to their store but I ask to have the container emptied so I can take it home. "Big actitud again""NO WE dont have time for that"I WAS like thats it... is the last time I will accept this actitud.THEY will have you waiting there just to take care of the people they choose...I am NEVER coming back.

This is an incredibly well stocked store with tons more than just fish. Its absolutely excellent for tropical plants and live feeders for herps and most any reptile. All the supplies for a new set up, and great folks working there as well. Prices are competitive, and before you buy online try them because they probably have it and you're supporting a local business.

My first impression of the store was nice. It was set up very nice and didn't feel like the dark and dingy fish stores you normally see around here. However, that's where my good impression ends.I purchased 2 clown Fish from them. And the woman helping me was pretty rude, kept complaining how she was "the only cashier there." She just had an attitude. Fast forward, I get home with the fish, acclimate them properly, and in the tank they went (There were no other fish in the tank but the 2 clowns). One of them was acting very strange and just hanging out in the corner, I thought, ok, he's just not used to it. The next morning he was in a different corner, still being weird while The other clown was swimming about. A few hours later he was dead, didn't even see him struggling or anything. It was about 24 hours since I had gotten them, however the store was closed at this point. I called them the next day and asked if there was anything they could do. The woman was very rude and asked "Well if it died yesterday why are you just calling today?" I told her because by the time I saw it they were closed. She told me they do not guarantee live fish once they make it home. That's the first time I've heard of that policy. Even online fish retailers will guarantee live arrival and even up to 48 hours after receiving a fish. So for a local store to not guarantee anything past it getting home is unheard of to me. I'm out the $20 for the one fish. I'm glad I didn't buy more expensive fish from them. I will not be shopping there again. I'll go to Pets Warehouse. Even if she was just a little nicer with explaining the policy I would've been ok. But she was very rude about it.

Just getting into the hobby and going here to purchase fish was a great choice! Nicky took the time to help me choose great starter fish. I received great instruction on how to acclimate, feed and care for all my new fish. Was a great experience overall and the customer service was excellent!

By far one of the best aquarium shops I've been to. I arrived expecting a decent selection of freshwater fish but I was completely blown away by the quantity, quality and variety of fish they had available. Just incredible. To top it off, despite the fact they had received a shipment of fish and we're busy unpacking and acclimating everything the staff was incredibly attentive and courteous to me and my family. Thank you so much, will definitely be returning. Worth the trip!

WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FISH FROM HERE. PLACE NEED TO BE SHUTDOWN.Let’s start came here a few months ago purchased three female bettas. Two were for $20 one was for $8. They explained you could put females bettas together. We came home follow all directions to set up tank . Place them together. One betta was beyond aggressive. I had to removed her. In the meantime one betta seem sickly. By the morning. She had die. Please keep in mind it was the betta my 11 year old picked out. Now I had to calm her down from losing her pet overnight . We had the aggressive one she was scare of. So I called very upset, I spoke to the Asian lady at the counter . Don’t remember her name . First phone call , I explained the betta died overnight. She stated once you take them home no refund. I got off the phone . I did not want the other betta she was so mean aggressive. I called back to demand she take the betta and refund me. She did . That was that.Four months later we just lost the other betta. Beyond heartbroken.This place does not take care of their fishes. They lie to make sales. Staff not friendly. Just overall horrible place .We didn’t want to take the trip initially to South Shore Tropicals In Lindenhurst. It’s a family owned and they care for their animals. Will be taking the drive for now on to go there.PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. You will end up receiving sickle fishes that will end up dying within a short period of time. Just plain old horrible.

My husband and I are very into our fish tanks and this is pretty much the only aquarium shop we will use for fish. Great selections and trustworthy to the point where you don't have to worry about bringing home a disease that will infect the rest of your tank. They are great with sending out emails and keeping their customers up-to-date on new arrivals and products. Great customer service. Love this place

My sister and I went to get plants along with some shrimp for two separate tanks. Everyone was super helpful, huge selection. We went to 4 different locations before finding what we were looking for here. Will definitely go back.

My family and I shopped here tonight for the first time and we are hooked. The woman who helped us was AMAZING I had my 3 year old daughter with me and she was super patient in dealing with both her and I. After she showed us some amazing fish she then walked my daughter around the store and showed her additional animals. Would highly recommend checking them out.

Dont usually go here but was passing by and stopped in. Waited a while for the woman to finally help me. Bought 3 fish. They brought ich to my tank and wiped out half of my existing aquarium. Wouldn't recommend his place

Always a pleasure shopping here. Prices are good on animals and supplies. Love that they carry the higher end hardware. To the one star reviews because your fish died all I can say is welcome to the hobby. No one guarantees livestock once you walk out the door. Choose wisely!
