Though a little pricey, customer service goes a long way. This location is conveniently located and great for those things you just can't wait on Amazon for. I have been in a few times now and mostly like it because it reminds me of my hometown. Today though, I went in with a specific dilemma. I really tried not to cry while asking Manager Mike for help, ahem, FAIL. He handled my situation with patience and professionalism. He made great suggestions and I left feeling much more confident in fixing my house. Thanks Mike!

Stopped in for some simple wood stain for some amish hunting blinds and we couldn't find it. Asked a employee and he was great. Showed us the supply. Told us about upcoming sales. Held the product for us. Great customer service. Recommended.

Nice to see bath has a hardware store back. They can't carry everything but have a good selection of the basics, as well as great sale prices on 5qt jugs of oil. Only issue was my account I've had for years would not pop up. I didn't have time to fix it, maybe another day. But service was great!

Went in today to get a lot of stuff. I needed doors, I needed a bathroom sink and other stuff. The woman who is older with short white hair was helping us, or so I thought. It seems I was being called stupid behind my back when I was thinking the woman was being nice. My daughter tells me that no she was not being nice. She said "Clearly you aren't stupid" and rolled her eyes. You should have done that to my face! I'm not stupid. I do have a problem forming my thoughts into words due to a traumatic brain injury from military service. So thank you for calling me stupid lady. I hope you don't treat others with disabilities the same way you did me, but behind my back. I will never go in that store again.

This place is an incredible addition to Bath NY. Their selection of materials and equipment is extensive, their building is well-organized and clean, and their staff is friendly and attentive in a genuine way.As a new home Owner, having Value Home Center so close has been a life saver.

Appears to be brand new. Somewhat challenging layout, I found what I came in to purchase, it just took me longer. Nice staff, not many working the sales floor.

Although this Valu Home Center is fairly new I my home town, I must say that the staff are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable given the fact that they are also fairly new to this store. I have always had help available in finding what I need and great advice for how to complete my project more efficiently. I humbly appreciate the staff for their help, knowledge and friendliness! Most time availability of any hardware store in Bath, friendly staff, good selection. Pricing is a little higher than what would be preferred, but that doesn't reflect on this location so much as Valu Home Centers as a whole. Definitely recommend if you don't want to drive 20+ miles for a Home Depot or Lowe's

I bought 1 filtrete filter for 14.97 + tax, had a little sign that stated $5.00 rebate 1 per customer, got a rebate form from the cashier and when i got home looked at the rebate form and it states on it SAVE $5.00 by mail in rebate when you buy any 2 1" filtrete with a MPR of 800 or greater, If your going to offer REBATES you should keep the rebate forms by the product and post your little shelf ads that state you must buy so many to receive the rebate.
