Nurses were generally nice the few times I went to emergency room. Was seen by doctors assistant both times......didn't seem to really impress me with knowledge in dealing with patients. Don't know if I could recommend them or not......overall they just don't seem organized and seeming lack of direction overall

If I had other options closer, I would have went there!! I get tired of going to this place having to explain myself over and over again. I'd give it no stars ..but I'll give it the two stars, not for the doctor because he was kind of a jerk! but for PA Ed. Ed and the nurse that worked with him to help me were both awesome! They get my stars!! They believed me and they helped me as much as possible. Because the doctor on the other hand didn't believe anything I said. I heard him debating with them about how what I said didn't make sense.. and he's going to go this other route because it's probably just chest pain. It was rude and disrespectful.. I appreciate Ed and his nurse going to bat for me and treating me with the needed medication and protocol to help me. I understand that some doctors are old school and by the book but sometimes you have to think outside the box!! Not every patient is a cookie cutter to what you think you learned 40 years ago, that's ridiculous! And when he discharged me after their shifts ended, my paperwork didn't even match why I was treated nor the treatment given to me. The misrepresentation on my discharge papers shouldn't be allowed!! So, again ..I'm very grateful for Ed and the nurse who listened to me. I am grateful for the few that do positively stand out. This post is about appreciating and thanking them. Thank you PA Ed and your nurse. I would have been in trouble had you not been there for me.

My wife went in for dog bite , the emergency room looks like there's dirt all through the place. Needs good janitor service, nurses say they have therebown and receptionist said write a letter.Nice place. medical waist from 3 patient

I wish I would have driven a little further to a different hospital. I waited 4 hours, a doctor or nurse didn’t come in my room once in those 4 hours…this place is a joke!

I am extremely grateful for the incredible care that was given to my husband during his recent emergency room visit and hospital stay. I could not have asked for anything better. The ER nurses and doctors were fast, knowledgeable and on top of everything. I'm sure they saved his life. He stayed in the hospital for a few days and his care was excellent and my communication with staff was great.

My husband went in with chest pains. Wonderful fast treatment. In an hour he was on helicopter on way to Elmira for cardiac care. I went with broken foot while back and treated and out in hour. From Long Island previously no parking, no seats and four hour wait in local ER.

Giving this hospital a 2 star rating is being nice. The people that check you in are super nice. My husband went in for a ultrasound on his stomach, and they where rude and I feel disrespectful. I would not bring my dead dog to this place . If you have a better choice to go other then this hospital, I would go.

Thank you for taking care of me on my ER visit last 06/09/09, on our way to Niagara Falls with my family. I never expected my wait time were just few minutes. The staff attended on me immediately, not wasting anytime. They were friendly, caring, and very professional. This is the ER visit that I'll never forget. Again thanks to the great staff, cause I was able to continue enjoying my vacation with no hitches at Niagara Falls. Continue to do your great service, and God bless you all. 🙏🙏🙏

By Far the Worst Emergency Room EVER. Besides the lack of care or compassion they give. I heard the nurses saying how they can charge a patient more if they add in extra codes. I heard so many HIPAA violations. I heard patient names and what was going on with them. The Doctor was rude and forgot to discharge me for over a hr.

I recently was transported to Ira Davenport Emergency room. I had been seen earlier in the day at another facility for a severe ear infection and Vertigo. The vertigo came back with violent vomiting, soaking wet sweat and head spinning where you can not focus. I was treated horribly. Zero compassion. I think they thought I was on drugs because they asked me if I took any 3 times. The list of complaints is to long to list here. I pray to God I never have to use that emergency room again.

Honestly surprised at how many negative reviews for this hospital still! I’ve had to go in 3 times now recently. Once was by ambulance, and today I had to go in twice. Even though the abdominal pain I was going in for is chronic, and nothing acute was going on they still treated me remarkably well. They got me medicine and my vitals stables right away. And were very kind about letting me know that my pain was legit even though they didn’t find the cause, and really cared and helped me out. It can be rare at times to have medical staff be so validating and understanding of a young person in chronic/undiagnosed pain and misery. 10/10 will not hesitate to go here in the future for myself or my family. Thank you for taking care of me!

Excellent customer service by prescreen nurse snd receptionist . Giving it only a 2 due to the mammogram technician. When I went in the examining room I told her that there was a female in waiting room wearing a mask below her nose. I delayed having a mammogram because of potential for covid as I am high risk. The tech stated there was nothing she could do about it and started lecturing me the reason why that person may not be wearing a mask. She went on so much that I repeatedly had to say. “ ok ok”. That person was young in the waiting room and seemed in no distress. I did not feel safe being in that hospital and will think twice about going back there again. When I asked the tech if she liked her job she replied “ its a job”. She was also very rough. She does not belong in customer service.

Been to this ER multiple times and worst experience ever. Triage nurses are rude if you tell them that you haven’t tried to go to the doctors, even if your fever is 103 which I had. You’ll sit in the waiting room for an hour at least even if you are on the ground rolling in pain, they don’t care. They have no masks, gloves or hand sanitizer for fast and easy use even if you tell them they are out they will sit there and laugh. This ER is last resort use, if you can make it to Guthrie I would go there. I didn’t even go past the waiting room and the experience was awful. Went to Guthrie and less than 10 minutes I was in a room hooked up to an IV. Don’t come to Arnot they will treat you poorly.

Horrible, I thought I was in a barroom with equipment, the staff have no sense at all they are dealing with sick people. I sat 45 minutes ,no one was there, listening to them laugh all the way out in the waiting room. He gave me a useless OTC for a serious infection. Run, the admin doesn't care either, don't waste your time with calling with a complaint. I guess they figure they have a captive audience. Maybe it is just the staff in the emergency room, I don't know. I am still finding it hard to believe how bad they actually were.

i loved the doctor and the RN they were both very caring and really paid attention to all of the problems i was experiencing!! they were both had amazing bed side manner, if i ever needed to go again i would 100% come here!! thank you!

I came in with excruciating abdominal pain. Wasnt even here for 30 minutes. Got told what the doctor thought it was and to check up with my primary and my obgyn. Didnt give me any pain reliever. So as I'm sitting in the waiting area still in excruciating pain waiting for medicab. This place needs to be shut down. No good ever comes out of here.

I had a great experience going to the ER. From the receptionist, the nurse and the PA were great. The nurse on the evening shift was very caring and receptive to my issue I would highly recommend this hospital. 8/11/18

This placemail is horrible I took my 3 year old daughter to have a tick removed from her head. The pa is the one who removed it never even knew he wasn't a dr. Not to mention he broke the head off in there and said it would come out on its own! Now it has to be surgically removed

My Mother just came back a few hours ago after being in the Emergency room with some rude worker who dared question her about if what she was there for was an emergency. The worker said it with attitude.
