Great cup of coffee! I was traveling the East Coast and hadn’t had a good cup of coffee in more than a week. Until we stopped here. My first sip put a big smile on my face and brought me great happiness. My other-half’s Mocha was just a good.I don’t remember what we paid but that doesn’t matter because the coffee was worth it.Definitely stop here if you’re in the area. It’s just off 33 and easy to find.jonesing for a good cup of coffee.Parking: Large free parking lot right across the street if the spaces in front are full.

Stopped here on a whim when I was traveling and it was well worth the stop! Cute coffee shop in a small town. They had a ton of options for coffee and some yummy food choices. The atmosphere is cozy and there’s free wifi. The prices are average, nothing more than you’d pay anywhere else.

Just watched some doofy looking landscaper with glasses walk behind the counter blowing his nose like a slob and go sit down with his buddies in the front. Apparently he felt entitled enough to be able to do that. Thanks for sneezing all over my sandwich bro!! Gotta love when dudes visit there chicks at work. Find some work somewhere to do guy and stay out of the kitchen your nobody special

This is a great coffee place in town. The have high quality coffees. My husband got the everyday drip and I got a matcha tea latte. Both drinks were very smooth. They also have a lot of drink options. They have a lot of drink options: coffees, teas (they use the Numi brand), lattes, mochas, bobas, and endless syrup options. While we didn't have any food, I did noticed they had gluten free and vegan baked goods. The service was kind and friendly. There are many sitting options available such as leather chairs, a couch, and tables and chairs. They also have cooler drinks to good, snack, and other goods. The bathroom was clean with a baby changing table. Great place to grab a coffee!

what a wonderful cafe! can't help but talk about the adorable interior - the wall of typewriters, chess table, variety of comfortable seating, and happy little items throughout the interior makes for such a welcoming atmosphere.. sat outside to enjoy a nice lunch with my mom and dog! the tribune + globe combination was so fresh and delicious, I highly recommend for those who appreciate sweeter / fruitier summer snacks! any number of drinks and choices for flavoring, so you could come back endlessly trying new things or get that 'name brand drink' from a lovely local place 😊Vegetarian options: alongside the options on their menu, you could always ask them to remove anything / accommodate! they're very sweet and will be happy to helpParking: although it's main entrance has some street side parking, there's also a community lot across the street!

I love this place! If I'm able to stop, I always take the advantage to do so. I usually try one of the coffees on special. Yesterday I got a scone to take home for breakfast this morning and OMG it is so good! It's blueberry corn meal. Don't sleep on this one and if possible definitely keep ordering/ making them!Dietary restrictions: They're open minded about vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and dairy free diets and usually have many options including just egg and beyond sausage.

Nice menu, great food, service and atmosphere. My only complaint is all the plastic being used.We ate in, so food could have been put on a paper plate instead of a takeout plastic container. Would be nice to have the option of a real coffee cup to drink out of if drinking inside… glass water glasses would be nice too..And cardboard takeout containers would be much more environmentally friendly . Not using any plastic would be ideal.

The atmosphere in general is pleasant, somewhat Coffee Culture-esque and trendy. The employees were helpful and friendly. The coffee was good and there was a fair variety of options for the menu.However, the food itself was not good, especially for the price - $5 for a grilled cheese with one slice of one type of cheese on plain bread? The scone looked homemade but upon biting into it, the filling tasted like something out of a can.It was a very underwhelming experience. We would consider going again, but we are certainly not in a rush to do so.

Went there for the first time today. The latte was great! I wish it had been served in a mug with real latte art, but that's not a deal breaker.What was much more disappointing was the complete lack of customer service skills of the barista. I've never been served by someone with less enthusiasm than the girl who made my latte. Upon reading some of the other critical reviews of The Coffee Press, it seems that I'm not the only one to notice this. Either get someone who can at least pretend to enjoy their job, or hire someone friendly to be the cashier while letting Grumpy Gurdy make the coffee.Customer service is important for any business who deals with customers directly, not least of all a cafe where the atmosphere is a significant part of the experience.

The place is a vibe but definitely not worth the wait it takes for food.I got my food in 15 mins and the girl in front of us left her food she waiting for 45mins and I think they forgot her food. But it's cute place to go on a date or have coffee

Amazing coffee!!! Best in Batavia without question! I am a coffee roaster, this is the first time I've had good coffee in Batavia. Also, I am one of those poor souls that avoids gluten and they made me a custom breakfast to accommodate... with smiles on their faces... EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!

Consistently poor service. The inside is cool, but thats all it has going for it. You get the feeling that just being there is an annoyance to the staff. Last time I went in I was the only person waiting to order, stood there for a good 5 minutes without being acknowledged. Then someone that seemed like the owner walks to the side of the register and says they'll take another coffee. The barrista immediately starts making his coffee even though I've been waiting there for a while...and still doesn't even acknowledge me. I definitely wont be back and I'll gladly take my money elsewhere.

The drinks are amazing, lots of fun combinations. I love how many gluten free dining options they have, that is rare in coffee shops around here. The service is not fast but very friendly. The decor and atmosphere is incredibly enjoyable. Prices are on the high side.

For years I've talked about how Batavia is missing a solid frontrunner for best coffee shop / breakfast place.... And it's been right here under my nose the whole time! The Coffee Press is fantastic. They have excellent drinks, tasty breakfast foods, and a cozy, classy atmosphere. Their prices are so good, too, that its really hard to find any flaw with them.Batavia really benefits from having a place like this. I'm so glad The Coffee Press is in business. Check it out today!

Nice atmosphere and great drinks. I do not like the use of to-go plastics and paper. My friend and I stayed there to chat with our drinks and were not offered mugs or anything reusable and sustainable.Thank you for your response. I apologize. I should not have assumed. After getting drinks from here for 3 years I will say this is the best cafe around. I highly appreciate the offering of organic coffees as that's what I drink at home. I think everyone should be getting their coffee here instead of the chain restaurants. Also, the staff are helpful and professional.
