Gotta go 4 Stars because of ill labeled prices but with that being said I pay close attention & the cashier's are willing to make it right with a bit of extra time at the counter. I'll continue to shop Save A Lot.

The meat dept. In Batavia is top notch. I prefer the meat from here over the bigger box stores. If they don't have something out on the sales floor these guys will in most cases go out of their way to get it for you. Other items in store are again almost always fully stocked for very fair prices and less the the bigger box stores.

No public bathrooms! My daughter needed to go and wasn’t allowed to use the employees only. It’s illegal to not provide facilities in my with 25-50 occupants

This is the best Save A Lot I've been to. It's always clean and stocked. This one has a great butcher as well and always have amazing deals on meat. I'm real picky about buying meat at places to. I love how they have a selection of products from local companies in the area. Like Amish Farms, Cuba Cheese, Nunda Spice, Red Osier etc etc. The staff is always polite and helpful at this location. For some reason I've always been some type of way about Save A Lots but this location has changed my outlook on all that in a BIG way. I like how they always have Holiday hours here as well. Like today 4/9/23 Easter. 5 stars from me for sure.

You could go here and know you could fill your cart and not wipe your bank account empty. They are competing with big box and new prices are not killing to your bank account. Lay's potato chips over 5 dollars a bag. Walmart was still a little cheaper not by much.

Its small and disorganized most of the time. But the staff if very nice and the product that they have they keep stocked right up. The selection is ok not huge but decent. Prices for some things are not different than your Walmart or Tops... but its a nice quick stop with out huge lines... as long as it isn't around the beginning of the month.

The meat dept has really stepped up.They have a new butcher back there who is making a difference ! The meat has been so much better! Great job will he back more often now! Give that guy a good raise!!!!!!!!

Nice Employees. Some food is good. Some deals are good.However a lot of food is not checked for expiration dates (find moldy and expired food in the store all the time. Be careful what you buy and check all expiration dates or you will waste money and possibly get sick.

Went in for sliced cheddar and ended up finding an avocado that was neither billiard ball hard nor marshmallow mushy along with guacamole seasoning (nice add-on placement, guys). Boneless ribeye 6.99 a pound was a ‘can’t pass up’. Got salsa and chips for what just the chips would cost elsewhere. Got my cheese and some beer and checked out. Total time spent was just a bit more than six minutes

I'm getting tired of going to this store with me and my son ....I'm starting to feel like maybe its a race thing but everytime I go in here I have the cashier's acting like I'm going to steal I'm a god hearing man and you guys have a wall of pictures of ppl who tried to steal and got cought doing it so do your jobs stop chasing ppl down and let the cams do it that's what it's there for right or maybe I'm wrong

There a carrying more items I use than they used to. So very happy to find my Whipped Strawberry Rockstar every time! So sad they jumped on the band wagon of increasing the cost about e what it normally is

If you can't find something just ask they are more than willing to help you. I love more products from here than at the big wig stores. Cereal has half the sugar, which my kids think is great. They have the best tomato juice I've ever had, less salt more flavor.

It's good for generic items but anything branded will cost about the same or if not a little more than places like Walmart.Shelves and displays are well organized.It looks like an industrial grocery store, like one of the ones you see in zombie movies - dim lighting, no windows, bleak colors....

Reasonable prices...wide variety of low cost brands. EBT accepted. Friendly staff. Clean environment. No long wait in lines. Great deals. Fresh produce and meat. No deli or bakery. Convenient location to downtown Batavia. Not open late or all night.

The place has very cheap food compared to tops or wegmansStaff is nice,have a lot of nice produce and meat.. We do all of our shopping there, all the food is off label products, but all are similar to brand name things in other stores...store is kinda dirty, n it too,bad, and obviously with low prices it will bring people with not alot of money, so there tends to be some riff raff there. But its not to,bad.. Good,place I recommend...

Seems the term "customer service" is a thing of the past. Although there are some friendly employees here; there are a couple who come across as if they're doing me a favor by doing what "Save A Lot" pays them to do. I can do without the snooty, "ME" generation attitude while being cashed out. It's too bad 1 bad apple can ruin the bunch.

Typically went here to get good prices on the basics I needed. It was a quick walk from my home. Went by today and the sign was stripped away and the windows were boarded up. Has this location closed permanently? I can’t find any information online about it, and the website listed it as still open.

Great store as far as pricing ect. But... was in here last night at closing and there was one register open which is fine but the cashier was very flustered even swearing that she had no help and they expect her to get ppl out. She called for manager twice and she didn't come out till 5 mins later with another employee and stated they thought the rush was over... felt bad for the cashier honestly. No need to be in the office socializing at that time. It's frustrating to close a store with no help . But also have to keep it cook reguardless as a cashier. Bad management I'd say and unsupported staff it seemed :(

To me it always feels dirty in this store. Some of their produce isn't fresh. They do have friendly staff who are helpful and pleasant. They run a pick 5 for $20 deal on meats.

Although Save-a-lot is the closest grocery store to my home. I usually only shop there for milk, sour cream and lunch snacks for the kids. The last time I was there the sight that greated me as i walked in the door were empty produce shelves covered in dirt where the fresh ears of corn and the $1.68 pints of strawberries had once been located. Their bagged apples are always bruised. This could be a good store if they would clean up their act a bit.
