First time visitors and would come back again when we're in town! Some of the best ice cream I've ever had! Amazing to see they have a drive thru and little to no wait for your ice cream! Freshly made ingredients, tons of different flavors of ice cream and sundae combinations. Helpful, friendly staff that make you want to come back. Must try place! Get your ice and go relax on their picnic tables.

We will NEVER be going back there again!My friends and I were treated horribly by one of the staff members there tonight. One worker got very aggressive with us. We were enjoying our ice cream when one girl came over and let us know that they were closing at 9:30 [maybe she misspoke] so we thought we had more time to hang out and catch up. In the middle of our laughter another girl from behind the counter yelled with an attitude across to us that they close at 9 and they still needed to mop [even though they had already started to clean] {cross contamination} so we needed to finish up and leave because “we close like literally now,” she said mind you this was at was 8:50. Also they locked the main entrance around 8:30 so we were being verbally attacked while locked in [habeas corpus].When we spoke up [freedom of speech] and said we would not be coming back [because of how she treated us she started yelling even louder and started moving toward us. So after they finally unlocked the door we proceeded to leave. This is when she started recording us and our vehicles with no permission from us of coarse. I don’t know pretty crazy to me. Makes me think not everyone is cut out for customer service.This all could have been avoided if we were treated like humans and approached properly.P.s If you’re looking for an awesome place to grab ice cream in the Batavia area Blondies is great!

While my friend,mom and I were eating there having a wonderful night we had the worst experience of customer service i've ever experienced. My mom and I have gone there for years from Albion and I will never come back again. We were told by a staff member that they locked the door and closed at 9:30 (which maybe she missed spoke) so when we were ready to leave to let her know. Remind you this was at 8:30 the doors were locked and they already started to clean around us. At around 8:45 this girl yells with an attitude behind the counter "hey we close at 9 and thats like literally now or in 10 minutes so if you can finish up and leave". Mind you there was no bad interaction on our end that this attitude would have been justified. While another girl was trying to unlock the door while we left we told them we will not be back because of this girls attitude. That is when the girl got louder and said "No no no"which i yelled back "you have an attitude problem". While walking out she came from around the counter still yelling. While leaving my friend and I honked to one another to say goodbye. My friend told me the woman pulled out her phone came up to the window and started recording her. I've seen many reviews about bad experience but I still continue to go even though I've experienced attitude many times but never to this degree. I do not at all recommend going here I will not recommend anyone I know to go here and I will not be back there again. There are many other ice cream places around Batavia and I would recommend going to them.

Ice cream is fine - not homemade but portion size is good. However, the bathroom is a porta potty and there is no way to wash your hands - no hand sanitizer or soap and water. Bring your own or eat elsewhere.

I had the fudge brownie Sunday, it was pretty good. Just was little lite on icecream at the end, had a couple of spoons full of fudge & brownie chunks. My partner got the Banana Barrel, and half of that is in freezer for tomorrow's dessert!

The young girl waiting on us was very helpful and helped carry out our ice cream. Didn't ask her to she just was kind enough...Ice cream was good size, my husband's Strawberry Sunday was huge!He loved it and did eat it all!! Even our pup was happy with his...Will be back..

I don't buy ice cream on the side of the road often. This time it was a gold mine. Very flavorful and worth the money. I ordered chocolate ice cream hard and soft vanilla with pumpkin. Sorry but God damn they were good! The place was really clean ate outside beautiful day. Staff was very nice and friendly. I drive through again I will be stopping!

I ordered a chocolate milkshake, it was perfect. Great blend of milk and shake. The aesthetic & atmosphere was great, and the variety of outdoor seating options was welcomed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back, likely a few times.

My fiance and I stopped here for the first time. We both got Boston milkshakes which were large and decently priced. We really enjoyed them.As for the workers, the young lady that took our order was a little rude. She asked us questions about our order with a snotty voice. I had never ordered a Boston milkshake from anywhere, much less from Dave's. She seemed very annoyed that I did not tell her what type of sundae I wanted on top, which I didn't realize was an option I could make. When I asked what sundae options they had, she just rudely pointed to the list. My fiance ordered his with all of the information and she still rudely asked him what flavor of ice cream he wanted. After reading through other reviews, I am not surprised though. We will try a different place next time we're in the area.

A great old school ice cream place that is hard to find these days! Prices are fair & decent serving sizes. Very nice variety of choices. The ice cream was smooth & velvety. When you order a float they give you the rest of the can of soda that didn't fit in the cup. It's always great to see places like this one still operating! Keep up the great work!

Read other reviews and you'll see that the owner's responses are very unprofessional!!! We were refused service because we are people of color who stopped by 10 minutes before closing time. The owner's response is that it's "hard to see through the window at night," even though the location is well lit and there were several other people seated outside eating their ice cream. Perhaps we were too "dark" to be seen at night for the mixed young lady who refused to open her window, and also for the white young lady to see me when I asked to speak to someone to at the second window. The white ladies sitting nearby were able to see us at night, and were appalled that we were being denied service 10 minutes prior to the 10pm closing time.

Purchased 2 banana splits and they had 1/3 scoops of ice cream. Smallest amount I've ever seen. Won't go there again

Every experience going to Dave's is greeted with friendly service from the staff and the large selection of items makes it a great family/pet friendly experience. I recommend this establishment for anyone looking to cool off this summer. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating arrangements.

Used to go here lots but the new way they have druve thu it blocks the non lazy people who actually get out if cars from ever getting into parking lot to park last 6 times I've gone I couldn't even get in to park cuz the drive thru blocks you from getting into lol its ridiculous only go here if your lazy abd want to sit in your car for an hour not that owners will read this or respond they don't care maybe ill open a place up the road with better service and better prices

Came here for soft serve ice cream after eating dinner out. There were only a couple people ahead of us in line so the service was real quick. The ice cream here is the most smooth and creamy Ice cream I've had from over 20 different states. The portion sizes were fair relative to the price. The only ding was that although the ice cream is incredibly smooth, it needed more vanilla flavor to make it to a 5 rating. Still, it was a good experience and I would recommend this place. We'll be back the next time we stop through Batavia.

I came here after a day at the park with my daughter. While here I received Absolutely wonderful Ice cream, and perfect service. There are so many selections and they are very inexpensive. The only complaint I have is that this place isn't open 24/7/365.Keep up the outstanding work.

The nasty attitudes, and overall immaturity I’ve experienced from these girls is the reason why tonight will be the first and last time I patronize Dave’s Ice Cream.The business closes at 10 pm, and arrived to the location at 9:52 pm. I thought I was too late to get ice cream, but saw that they were serving two Caucasian women. However, as the two women sat down, I saw some of the workers make eye contact with our vehicle, before one quickly removed the napkin dispenser from the ledge and shut the window—as if she was on a mission. I was confused and found it strange because they literally just serve two people a min ago!I sped walk to the window, and stood there a bit—before knocking. They had the audacity to act like they didn’t see me! But one finally looked up in annoyance before mouthing “we’re closed.” I was quite taken aback but was disgusted at that point, so I walked away. My mom was also taken aback at this, and preceded to the window—especially after one of the nice ladies said “They aren’t closed! They just served us! They have 10 more mins.”As I watched from the car, their smiles disappeared but they also refused to open the window for my mother. It was only after 4 mins or so, that one girl did but had major attitude—especially from this this mixed chick and one of the blonde skinny one. Seemingly, their night was”ruined” that they had to serve an ice cream cone to me. I am truly disgusted.

I got a chocolate peanut butter shake. The staff there was super friendly and the service was quick; but the shake itself was just okay, didn't seem to have much flavor to it really compared to other places I've been.

It's pretty early in the year for ice cream, but Dave's seems to be the first to open up and the last to close. Had my first brownie hot fudge sundae and it was great! The employees were really quick and attentive.
