They have this really cool new system where it's impossible to actually let a phone ring and speak to someone. Instead you have the privilege of calling 15 times and leaving 5 voice-mails to be ignored for several days. Customer service at its finest 👍🏻

Absolutely awful pharmacy! Despite having 3-6 employees behind the counter, prescriptions are never refilled when promised which is concerning since medicine can literally be a matter of life and death. A few recent interactions of note:-My employer changed insurance companies. I presented my new card to Duane (who I am happy to hear has retired!) and after putting the information in twice, he got fed up with it and told me to go back to my employer as something was wrong with it. I did so and they gave me a printable card with the same information on it, assuring me it was accurate and reflected the information our previous provider used. When I went back, there was a younger pharmacist who took the card and did have trouble with it but instead of throwing his hands up, he continued trying and eventually was able to get my information updated. He told me sometimes they have to run it a few times for the system to take it, especially with names that have non-alphanumeric symbols like mine.-The pharmacy is always out of stock of the birth control I take for managing symptoms that can be debilitating every month (I have been on this prescription since I was a teenager). I have to be incredibly proactive about making sure it gets filled well before I need it or run the risk of them being out of stock on a medicine I have been taking every month for decades. I realize there are shortages but that they can’t fill my actual prescription or at least supply a comparable brand when I have a prescription they know is coming up every month is ridiculous.-2 weeks ago when I went in to pick up a prescription that was supposedly ready, the staff behind the counter were chatting away about their weekends. When one did come up to assist me, I was informed it wasn’t ready. I showed them the text message and app that both said it was and the girl blew it off as “that’s just our automated system, we’re 6 days behind for processing”. Absolutely insane! 6 days behind on filling life-altering, life-saving medications? Perhaps they wouldn’t be 6 days behind if the employees weren’t talking as much to each other and actually working to fill prescriptions which are promised at specific times.I’m generally a very patient person, but this last interaction was my last straw. I will be canceling out my prescriptions and going to a different pharmacy.As for the store itself, I haven’t really had any problems with it aside from them now expecting you to use the self-checkout. I much prefer having another human assist me to make sure everything is done correctly and I can ask questions if I have a concern.

Awful, if it wasn't for the fact it's the only pharmacy in Batavia that can get my meds, I would go somewhere else. Went into the store to pick up Friday night and the person ahead of me was "flagged" to talk to pharmacist, instead of asking him to step to the side and wait on the other 6 (yes six customers) they left him there and the tech walked away. She never said anything to anyone else, just walked away. After 10 minutes four of us in line left, all complaining.Not the way to run a business. Can't wait for my time to be on these meds are done so I never have to go in there again.

TERRIBLE PLACE!! Pharmacy techs are rude, the pharmacist condones their behaviors, they hang up on you, won’t check out any store items you have to purchase at the pharmacy counter, or transfer your prescriptions to another pharmacy for you because they lie and can’t keep their promises on when they will have prescriptions filled.I have a 6 month old baby born at 29 weeks with major respiratory issues, and the medicine is for his breathing problems, the girl HUNG UP ON ME when I asked her to transfer my sons scripts out. So I drove up there, and as I walked up to counter, the same little girl, Kaylee, was BRAGGING to a co worker, how she just hung up on a lady. Her co worker responded with, “warranted”! How UNPROFESSIONAL!! I complain to the pharmacist and he CONDONED THEIR BEHAVIOR!!I called in a complaint! I BELIEVE THEY ALL SHOULD BE FIRED!!Let one of their children go without necessary breathing medication and get treated like that trying to get his medications.. UNACCEPTABLE!!

This CVS location is just terrible. Had prescriptions called in from urgent care. I decided to wait a few hours to make sure they would be ready when I got there. When I did get there weren't ready, fine I had some grocery shopping to do. I was assured that when I returned they would be done. I went back 40 minutes later and I was told it would be another hour. This type of service is ridiculous.

Pharmacy is horrible. Can’t call, sends you straight to voicemail, store app dose not give you options to message pharmacy. Pharmacies lunch is from 1:30 to 2:00 but is is really some after 1 till sometime after 2.Take 2 weeks to fill one of my daily meds has left me with out my Medication for a week.Going back to Walgreens, tried this CVS for 3 months and have been extremely disappointed EVERY TIME I USE THIS STORE.Do your self a favor and us a different pharmacy.

Do not go here!!! The pharmacy is horrible. Staff are extremely rude and the pharmacist, Dwayne is very unprofessional. He thought I was on hold, but just put the phone down and was talking horribly about me. I don't care if you are having a bad day, we all do. Just changed pharmacies. And called corporate. I gave one star because I had to, otherwise it would be zero. There are so many other pharmacies to choose from.

The woman who answers the phone is rude as soon as she picks up, for literally no reason. She refused to call my pharmacy to have a prescription transferred, claiming that they require a new prescription from the doctor (not a controlled substance, just birth control). She said she would send the request to the doctor, but I found out the next day that the request was never actually sent. In addition, she was rude about the doctor's name and contact information, even though I had told her 3 times what she had to look up to get that. I eventually offered to give her the phone number, but why she needed that when she had no intention of calling is beyond me. Just an overall bad experience every single time we have to deal with cvs.

Almost evert time I went there for my prescription refill, they said I had to wait for half an hour or be back in an hour. I dropped that. I canceled and switched to RaidAid. They don't respect other's time.

Litterally been waiting 3 months for my prescription to be filled understand there a shortage but everytime more comes in there supposedly out and say first come first served but been waiting 3 months. Wait on hold for 45 minutes to and hour . Also when I do talk to employee get hung up on because asking how I can get it filled when then they get more in very unprofessional.

Batavia ny cvs is hands down the WORST pharmacy on the planet. They won't answer their phone, prescriptions sit in "pending" status for weeks unless you call to have them "expedited", rudest workers, and overall a headache anytime something is needed.

My family and I have been using this CVS for almost 10 years. The staff is always lovely, especially the pharmacy employees. If we do have any issues with a prescription, they are beyond helpful trying to fix it. The drive through IS very slow, as other reviewers stated, but it only takes a few minutes to walk in and grab your prescription if you are able. I highly recommend this CVS, specifically the pharmacy!

I was calling about becoming a new customer and I apparently was bothering the pharmacist, Duane with all of my questions. He yelled at me he was the only one on and didn't have time for "these conversations". He refused to give me any other person or manager. I called back and did get someone else. However that person excused Duane's abusive behavior with, "he's rough around the edges when he's having a rough day. He's old". Apparently Duane is a manager and mostly the only pharmacist. How can I ever feel safe speaking to an abusive pharmacist? It's disturbing his abusive behavior is excused. We all have rough days but that doesn't excuse a pattern of abusive behavior. I just had them cancel out all of my meds and I'm going to another pharmacy. I will not be abused.Update: Spoke with Manager Matt and was told Duane was having a rough day because someone called in due to covid. I was told he's not always like this but they get complaints every time he works. They deal with his poor behavior due to the shortage of pharmacists. Just placed a call to corporate.

Not once have I visited this store to simply pickup my prescriptions, and waited any less than 20 minutes. Lines are always absured both drive-thru and inside. The floors are always so covered in stock boxes (in the middle of the day) that you can barely walk through the store. CVS always sets low expectations as it is, but this particular store says "I can limbo that".

Prescriptions are never filled in advance even if they were sent over hours before. Usually have to wait around 30 minutes to have mixed or filled. This is not consistent with other CVS pharmacies.

So slow,takes forever to get prescriptions especially in the drive thru. Employees are generally rude and combative at pharmacy. You get to sit and watch the Employees chat past the time they gave you to get your prescriptions.

Went to the photo center to pick up prints. The woman insisted they never got the order, even after I showed my email confirmation that it had been received, processed and was ready for pick up. A week later, I got a call from a very creepy man saying he had my photos and asked what my address was so he could drop them off, insisting that we meet. He was very pushy on the phone. I refused, blocked the number and contacted the store manager. Her response to their mistake was "that man should've brought them back here, we did nothing wrong". CVS gave my photos to a stranger and did not take responsibility for their mistake. I'll never order prints from them again.

Went in for a shingles shot, sent me up front to register which is only for Covid shots. Long story short finally got registered for the shingles shot(I thought), went behind the screen for the shot and he was about to inject the Moderna shot for Covid which I got in February. Put the brakes on that. Miscommunication in that crazy pharmacy. Always check what your getting cause there are screw ups out there.

Beyond rude staff. Each time I have talked to a manager about this one staff member they say their ganna talk to her about her attitude but each time she’s even nastier. If you work retail or customer service you are to be kind. Worked customer service for years but you have to remain kind.

The lady at the Drive-through was very nice and patient with us for our Covid tests. 330 on Monday December 6. Of course the gentleman behind us wasn’t but the lady serving us was very nice

I have used CVS pharmacy for years! I went to pick up a prescription and it was 137.00 with my insurance, call insurance company they indicated it should be around 39.00! CVS said no, had script sent to Tops pharmacy and paid 40.00 for exact medication!! Sorry, I will be leaving CVS, lost all trust!!!

Out of all leagl drug dealers in town. These guys are very helpful not with just what your doctor ordered but very willing to help you with any question of whats on the shelves. Head guy even left behind med counter to help me find the right items i would need

Expensive, always had to wait till the day I had no medicine to get my prescription from pharmacy does have a good rewards program if your a couponer small clean friendly place though
