Great viewing of ponds wildlife wildflowers. Overlooks and a few floating docks offered good viewing. Trails were easy and well marked. No trash left behind. Visitor center was nice as well as the interactive exhibits and gift shop.

This is the perfect place with loads of things a bird enthusiast can ask for between April through November.Parking is limited with roughly 20 cars or so. The trail in itself is about a mile long loop which gives good options for some great photographs. If you are the adventurous kind, step on the other side of the white bridge and get into the trail.

Very nice wildlife refuge. Pretty well maintained paths down to water at the main visitor center building. Beautiful fields with some flowers and birdhouses, too. Good place to bird watch. There are easily noticeable signs at the entrance to each part that I went to, which is nice to make things easier to find.

It is a huge space that has less trails and more good drives .. with plenty of bird sightings to be had.. while..my camera is not good enough to catch them ..I'm sure it won't take much ....the kanyoo trail had a nice board walk was very flat and easy for any one to manage ...I'm sure there was more trails I just did not find on this visit ..

Very beautiful place. Nice to hike (be careful of ticks) but other than that I love seeing the animals and just sitting and being still. Snapped good shots as well.

Nice place for fishing and enjoying outside. They have fishing derby several times a year which is worth spending time. If coming from 31F it will take you go under the Erie Canal (the only tunnel under canal). The lakes are usually calm but a little bit bushy and muddy with algae. Be careful do not provoke the local ducks unless you wanna be disturbed by them till you leave the lake!

Beautiful, with so many great places to explore. A wide range of wildlife. It's always a treat to see the bald eagles. I love going a year long.

Had a great time out with the Young Black Professionals of WNY Meetup group! Saw lots of beautiful birds and even caught a glimpse of a bald eagle. Definitely a nice place to enjoy the trails and the marshlands. Trails were well-marked and once you started on them they were easy to follow. I'd say this place is great for all skill levels.

Always great place for family hikes and walks. The swans were migrating through last weekend. It was busy at the res but plenty of places to spread out and experience all the nature and wildlife. Try out their numerous trails along with just hiking through the levies and dikes. The audio tours via qr code make it fun for the kids to stay entertained along the way.

Beautiful area, it's a great place to visit any time of year!Last year was my first year hunting here and I didn't see anything. Found a couple of nice bedding areas and lots of game trails though. When I renewed my hunting license this year I also opted for a dmp (antlerless tag) for here (8g) and I'm glad I did.Second day out I seen a group of five deer crossing the access road as I was going in.Two hours later I had my first deer ever.Ended up harvesting a yearling buck that is hands down the best tasting venison I've ever had in my life! Even my father in law in PA agreed I got the best yet.

Beautiful lush green spaces with nice trails that are well tended to. Parking lots are marked clearly and appropriate signage to help with viewing different wildlife in each area as well as hazard awareness (I.e. ticks, snakes, snapping turtles, etc). The only thing I would like to see added would be garbage cans so people don't ruin the beautiful landscapes.

This is one of my favorite places and I am blessed to live close by. Many hiking and walking trails. Many birds to see including Bald Eagles and Ospreys. Many waterfowl and migratory birds pass through.

The trail I visited was beautiful! There was a lot of waterfowl I was able to see. Egrets, blue herons, pied billed grebes, Canadian Geese, I'm sure more that I didn't see. It was just a beautiful place to spend some time. The other trails I've been on in Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge have all been beautiful as well!

This place is amazing. If you love wildlife, this is the place for you. My son is into photography, and he was just amazed by all the beauty, wildlife, and openness this place had to offer. There is a main building on Iroquois Road"?" don't quote me, as I am not sure that is the name of the road that is within the area. We went to the building and inside it was like a mini museum with a small gift shop and at the main desk they give you a map of the grounds. The staff there is very friendly and informative.I highly recommend taking a day to go, hike, have a picnic, and enjoy the quiet beauty this place has to offer. I have been there in the Fall and drove through it in Winter, and it is just as beautiful.Give this place a look, and if you can help support them to keep this place a place our wildlife can be happy and safe.

Took Grandmas old canoe out for the first time in years last summer. With quarantine our schedules were free and got to spend some awesome father daughter time. Iroquois was a GREAT spot. Almost reminded me of the Jungle Cruise ride at Disney; very very gorgeous. Was very serene and allowed you to appreciate nature and slow down a bit. I did get sunburnt a bit. But, that’s how you know it was a success :)

This is a small but beautiful Refuge site. They have a small Visitor Center with some really nice interactive displays. Staff there's also very helpful. Will you purchase The Visitor Center there are some bird houses right outside of the building and you can see some really beautiful birds.
