First time going to this Barneveld staple. Large selection of quality meats and seafood at prices I find hard to believe. Not overly thrilled with the woman behind the meat counter who wasn't very "customer oriented". Overall, a great store with more than just meat. Will be visiting again.

Awesome fresh meats you don't see places like this anymore. Friendly old family like atmosphere. Feels like the old markets that were in every town you knew the owners and they knew you.

My family and I love this place. Really good deals. One girl behind the deli counter was a little rude. Other than that, I have a great experience every time my boyfriend and I go in. Really good meats and other goodies.

Probably the worst place to work for i worked there for a month. In a matter of a month 5 people quiet. The mangment threated to kill staff. Management talked down to staff. I called about my w2 that i still have yet to reserve in the mail an i was told it was probably just lost in the mail to wait. I waited another week an i tested the owner i was told they dont make copies an to call the post office. They are highly unprofessional

Waited at the counter for 15 minutes to order a sub, directly after someone else ordered. The 2 guys were busy making subs so I was patiently waiting to place my order but my presence was continually not acknowledged (even though eye contact was made with all the deli workers) and when someone finally asked me if I was all set, I said no, I need to order a sub. to which the kid behind the counter said “oh you need to order a sub? Ok” and continued telling his obnoxiously loud story to his coworker. I waited another few minutes before finally leaving. Overall very unimpressed by the entire place, and the staff. I won’t be back.

Nice place , our first time here even though we have driven by for years . great selection good prices . We bought some groceries and two subs . We both ordered large . A large is two foot long subs and they don't skimp when they make them . This is going to become our regular stop on way up to camp

Clean store, great selection of meats and food, friendly service...especially at the checkout, but a little slow to make a sandwich. All workers wore masks, but my sandwich maker sported a half mask with her nose poking out. I'd go back again without hesitation.

For a rural location, I was impressed with quality and selection of products. Cuts of meat appeared excellent. Had a deli sandwich which was comparable to big city deli's highly recommend!!

Quality meat, but prices on produce are insane, .89 for bananas, seriously? Staff is also aloof, and at times rude. Huge turnover of staff too. Shop for their meat deals, great prices at the deli counter. wish the staff was nicer, because I like to support local businesses, but I expect better service.

Our family stopped here while camping in the area. We were able to buy all of our camping food and supplies here for decent prices. There is also a beverage center nextdoor with a great beer selection. One plaza, all camping needs. Can't beat that.

We frequesnt Desantis Meat Market & Deli and purchase all of our household meat here. Desantis has a Huge selection of fresh seafood, pork, beef, chicken, ...and at very reasonable prices. There is a Butcher on Duty during business hours. The Deli has delicious salads, and sandwiches made to order. Friday Night Fish Fry take-outs are popular here. Support Your Local Businesses. Would highly recommend.

Customer service is weird. On a recent visit to purchase prime steaks for my wife’s birthday dinner, the counter worker told us that we could NOT look at the steaks underneath the few that were visible. The worker advised that the Butcher wanted to sell the steaks on top first and would be very upset. At $20 per pound ( my money), We expected to be able to choose to buy whichever steak we wanted!!!! Ridiculous! Tell the Butcher to cut meat and not dictate how to sell to customers.

I actually went to the beverage center today. They have a very good selection and you can get a growler filled there. I have shopped the meat market many times. You can get excellent deals when you buy in bulk, and I've always been satisfied with the quality. Their deli is great too. They have a limited selection of other items, but I try to stick to what they do best, meat. They do carry a large selection of bread, and a small selection of baked goods like half moons and pusties. Forget BJ's, if you need a lot of meat to throw on the grill for your next big cookout, this is the place to go.

Great cuts of steak. A good selection of meats. Propane tanks, basic groceries, ect. Enjoyed our experience while camping.

We visited Desantis meat market as out of towners. The meat market is like a little mini supermarket. Parking lot is a decent size. Our best buy was the duraflame log for the fireplace we used in a rental property. We bought cold cuts and pasta salad and beverages and some dairy items. We found what we were looking for. The store followed COVID practices and is very clean.

Watched a guy barehand food from the meat counter and go back to the deli side with no gloves or hand washing. Will be calling the health inspector Monday morning, there’s a virus spreading through countries from not practicing correct sanitary procedures. The staff here may want to watch a few videos about cleanliness. I’ve never been so unappetized in my life, I was going to buy chicken but after seeing that I’m good!!!

We gradually learned never to buy bread there, as it is always moldy by the day after we buy it. On this last trip, in the afternoon, we bought various things, inc. BBQ beans from the deli counter. The next morning when we awoke, they had erupted from their container like a volcano. Obviously they were already spoiling when we bought them. We called them & they insisted that it could not happen. So, not only did they refuse to provide any customer service, they were in effect calling my wife a liar. So, despite their wide selection of good deli meats etc., we will not shop there again.

No prices on the beer at the Beverage center have to walk around and ask the girl what all the prices are never changes year after year. But the store part if fantastic shop im there all the time good meat and cold cuts great prices
