I went thru the drive thru of this pharmacy for the first time, and an older man which came to the window was incredibly rude asked my last name and in the middle of spelling it for him to look me up he screamed first name!!! Than he tried to charge me 50 bucks for my med and I said no I have the good rx number he said something to me as he was closing the window on my face again I said I can't hear you and he screamed at me it's cold and walked away, and I finally screamed are you f'ing kidding me he than handed my med to a lady pharmacist who came over and charged the right price and I asked her his name she said Ryan! I than told her he shouldn't be working with patients with that attitude and she than said you cursed at him no I didn't I didn't curse at him until he slammed the window in my face for a 3rd time and was walking away from the window after I asked what did he say I couldn't hear him! Wow I will be calling a manager in the morning and speaking about this man and reading the reviews it's not the first time this older man has been disrespectful!

I switched from Hannaford due to seeing a pharmacist drink while on the job. I'm thinking about switching back because every time I need my insulin filled it's always delayed they never have it and I can never get an answer why. It's an inconvenience. My insulin is what keeps me alive.

I called and spoke to the robot answering machine a few days ago and asked to renew a prescription with my doctor. So I called and spoke with an employee which sadly I did not get his name but he is a man who is middle aged and clearly miserable with his life. I simply asked him to check to see if my doctor was notified and it seemed to be such a huge inconvenience for him to do so. Then he said that he could send a request to my doctor, so I asked if you can do that can you check to see if one has been sent already. He then rudely said, “I don’t know what you’re asking” so I just asked him to send one to my doctor again. He then followed up that he “recommends for me to talk with my doctor”, which I said “okay but I want you to request my order”. He then said “I’m just saying that I recommend that you talk with them.” So I said that “my doctor was the one that recommended me to call the pharmacy and ask for a refill because it would be easier” so I would be taking her recommendation over his. Which he clearly didn’t like and he didn’t put my request in to my doctor, terrible customer service and such a childish action for a grown man to take.

The pharmacy employees act like they are the customers. Dismissive, rude, and they even put a snarky sign on the drive-thru window. I drive a quiet car, so why should I have to do that just because of a few loud ones? I really think they don’t want anyone at THEIR store.

Rude pharmacist. She could easily have been polite about what she had to tell me, but she was abrupt and dismissive. I left with a feeling that I was an annoyance. Really unnecessary and too bad.

What a sorry excuse for a CVS location. What should be a store overseen with pride, it is just barely above insufferable. Closest pharmacy to home. Today I got a pharmacy man in glasses and a red Grand Union shirt who could not have been more rude, condescending, or unhelpful. Literally picking his nose at the drive thru window. This store needs some attention and quality control.

I only use the pharmacy the drive through mostly. Which is just ridiculous because it's supposed to be quick and you'll sit there for 20 minutes. If there is a line of cars in the drive through and a line of people inside you should 2 people grabbing prescriptions one for the line inside and one for drive through. Not one that goes back and forth. I'm a tore 1 diabetic and you guys stopped my automatic refill on my insulin every month which is not okay. My insulin is life or death and shouldn't be messed with. Due to this I've been without insulin 3x now for almost 5 days. This needs to be fixed.

unprofessional, would rather have someone covid + in their facility than answer the drive thru. not sure of the rude employee’s name whom i had to deal with, the man in the pharmacy. big sign was up saying they want you to go to the drive thru if you’re covid positive, and then cop a huge attitude with you when you have to come in. this place needs new staff that go along with protocol.

I went to picked up my sister’s prescription today. The woman working at the pharmacy was very rude, not sure if she was having a bad day but be more courteous to people. She had on a Cheetah print face mask. She slammed my change on the table and didn’t asked if I had a CVS card. If you don’t like working at the pharmacy change jobs.

The cashier Valerie is probably the most pleasant person I have ever met. I'm serious. She seems to never be having a bad day. I have never seen her react surly or rude when pressured by high volume and whenever I go she is the only cashier. I hope CVS appreciates her.

This Pharmacy is the worst I've ever had to deal with. They might as well replace them all with Robots. At least then you would know the robots didn't consent to screwing you or your love ones, they were just programmed to do it. The Pharmacists don't even what titration dosing means, seriously?!?!. They think they know better then the doctor that is treating you and will not fill medication prescribed.

Never a problem to walk-in and refill in a reasonable amount of time to get through the system of checks and balances that seem silly for a bottle of drops that doesn't get repackaged... But I digress, and they do offer the best they can and everyone I've talked to is personable and in some cases VERY happy to work. I don't use it but people seem unhappy as a whole that they lost the govt prescription plan contract...

Pharmacists here are incredibly rude and incompetent. Not to mention the front parking lot of the store is disgusting most of the time. But the pharmacists are absolutely ridiculous, I'd rather make the extra drive to get medication elsewhere than go here and deal with them.

The worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They constantly forget to refridgerate my insulin. The one pharmacist argued with me that my inhaled insulin didn't need to be kept cold. They most recently told me my necessary medication was backordered (with no restock date) and unavailable at any of their locations. After freaking out for a day and calling the company who makes my medication multiple times only to be told there was plenty in stock, I had one of their reps call the pharmacy to see why they couldn't get it in. They told him that it was in for me... Except no one had called me to inform me. So basically they had me freaking out thinking that I was not going to get my necessary medication for weeks when it was only a day. I asked them when I picked it up why they would tell me the day before they couldn't get it and they tried to pretend they didn't know what I was talking about. I understand things get backordered but to not try to help me get it resolved, offer no restock date, and tell me I need to call the distributor myself is just ridiculous. I work in customer service and if I ever treated my customers the way this pharmacy treats me then I would be out of a job.

I wanted to write and post not about the store here but the man who works here. There is a very tall dark hair man that works the register. I could say I don't care much for the store itself but this guy actually makes it pleasant to come in and make a purchase. He is kind and makes small convo when he cashes you out and I think he interacts with the customers very well and whoever the manager here is should give him kudos for being the polite kind hearted guy he is. You can tell he works hard to keep the line from being too long and helps make sure that your coupons are applied to make sure you get the most savings you can and if he is not able to he is very knowledgeable about why you are not able to use it and can explain why. Just wanted to let them know out of all the times I have gone to CVS throughout the years he is the only employee I ever felt like that actually cares to take care of his customers and he does it well. Pls give this man the credit he deserves. I applaud him for his hard work and being kind to his customers in a day and age where retail customer service is hard to come by.

Love the techs and the pharmacists there ! I've had cancer, chemo caused a loss in memory, anxiety and an autoimmune disorder that causes chronic pain. I've NEVER felt judged by anyone there regarding the narcotic meds I take ! And trust me....I HAVE at other pharmacies, including other CVS locations. I haven't just felt like I have been. I WAS. Even my daughter experienced it when she's had to get them for me. Unbelievable and disrespectful. I'm blessed to have CVS in Ballston Spa as my pharmacy!

Horrible experiences! Multiple times over the past three years since my daughter became ill i have had to contact the district manager. Pharmacist Diane laughed at me on the phone when i called to tell them that a (non narcotic) medication for neuropathy had been shorted for the second month in a row. I have since counted all other prescriptions when i pick them up and have been called a liar when i report the short pill counts. Today my sons adhd med wont be filled because AGAIN cvs has mixed up his female prescriber with a man in the bronx and says shes on the list that says her medical license isnt valid...yes this has now happened twice. We both called the state and they say she is not on that list. Cvs says i have to find a different dr to write a new script TODAY.!?! Thats not even possible. So again my child goes without medication because of their "mistake!" Oh they also once gave me tablets for a cardiac medication....when the script was for a gastrointestinal medication...good thing i check the description of tablets on the bottle before i give them to my kid. This is the ballston spa doubleday ave (rte 50) location. Horrible place with very rude employees in the pharmacy.

Worst customer service ever. Just stood at the pharmacy counter for atleast 5 minutes and not a single person acknowledged me, so I walked out. This is not my first issue. They ran out of one of my prescriptions and never called to tell me they couldnt fill it, so I had to go a few days without it until CVS in Burnt Hills could fill it

Generally, it's just like every other CVS. However, I was reprimanded by the pharmacist for coming to CVS for a flu shot. She said they offer it, but really do not like doing it. I assured her I wouldn't ever do it again.

I’ve always been waited on by happy and friendly employees. Unfortunately there is one employee (I believe is the manager). I’ve been a frequent customer for over 13 years and I’ve never seen her wait on a customer and I’ve heard her berated other employees in front of customers.Thankfully the rest of the employees have always been very friendly and professional. And Diane is my favorite...
