Adirondack Veterinary Clinic has wonderful vets, techs, and staff. We brought our cat here for years, and started bringing our puppy here when he was 10 weeks old! Everyone at Adirondack Vet Clinic is knowledgeable, compassionate, and amazing with animals. I would highly recommend them to anyone and their fur baby!

We've had nothing but great experiences here with our many cats and dogs over many years! Dr. Wallingford and her staff are compassionate, extremely hard-working but also realistic about the demands of keeping our pets safe. They absolutely treat your pets like their own. Very reasonable rates, lots of openings, and so kind when I recently lost 2 pets (they even have a little candle lit for them 😭). We will never go anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. W!

Every time I bring my dog there to get her nails clipped it's more money!! Then when you call to find out how much a visit is going to be, it's always more !! The manager there wouldn't hear me out, and was over talking me!! So, I am done there!! They rip you off!! And now they turn it on me, I'm not the problem, don't rip off people and people won't get mad. And it's not about the nail clip, you gave me a quote of $22.for nail clip and $30 for a shot, and when I got the bill, it was $72. So now you have to pay $18 for a technician to give my dog a shot, again getting ripped off!!

I brot dogs here fur long time. Then things turned sour. They put my poor dog under anesthesia after they knew he had very low blood. I had asked them. About his blood tests. They denied he was not well.They took Soo much money. . I took him to emergency in colonies . They said he needs transfusion. Too late . He was dying . . Adirindsck text. Lied took my dog under and he was so weak. He could hardly walk. They should b sued and they knew he was not able. . They gave out meds to my husband when I was away without seeing dog. I wouldn't recommend them telling u the truth. Their prices are so high it's stinks. I wish I had never taken my other dog there before. Their meds only made her worse. I dont know how they could stay in business. False reports about blood work. And said it was normal. Two dogs went there and results was terrible. MONEY MONEY MONEY. FALSE LIARSand he lost so much blood. He came home didn't live but threeWeeks. The Dr. Knew all.along.. they didn't let me come in and gave shot before Oliver died then let me see him for the final shot. They shouldn't have given the first shot before I was in the room. Dont have your dogs teeth cleaned there . They do surgery and charge enormous amount on a sick. Dog. . I had to go to COLONIE emergency . And it was too late. . They passed him off. To other places when they knew it was too late. SHAME oN THEIR UGLY CONSCIENCE AND LYING.......... They lied after they knew the truth to get my dogs teeth done. Said it didn't matter that he was anemic. Then did surgery. I brot home a very sick dog. After they knew it was too late referred me. To Latham. To do more tests transfusions. On a sick dog helpless. Then said I refused more treatments of course. He SUFFERED ENOUGH. THEY R ABOUT MONEY. MY OTHER DOG PRECOUS. WAS GIVEN MEDS . IT DIDNT HELP HER BUT THEY GOT LOTS OF MONEY. I DONT RECCOMMEND THEIR SERVICES . GIRLS R NICE BUT TEETH DR IS A SCAM AND THEY LIE TO COVER UP THE REPORTS THEY GET. ITS NOT SLANDEROUS . ITS A SICK PLACE. I HAD TO DEMAND HIS BLOOD RECORDS ..oh yes Oliver had a tick on his butt and abscess in his lower body . They didn't find it . I had to. This was after they examined him and didn't even know it . I had to point it out. . I could go on and on.. but take your animals somewhere else . I found a great place.

Adirondack Veterinary Clinic makes you and your pet feel like part of the family, on each and every visit. The staff are compassionate and caring and most importantly very professional. The Dr's are up to date on all research and procedures for the pets they treat and honestly take the time to go over preventative, procedures, and care plans in full detail. Pet parents can be assured that their family member is getting best care possible at more than reasonable prices at Adirondack Veterinary Clinic.

My dog loves the girls there but this is unacceptable. I brought my dog to get spayed after her first vet visit with them went well. Though they didn't seem to have any clear knowledge of the prices of procedures I didn't mind if my dog liked them. I DID mind however when my dog came back with this wound on her back after the surgery. THEY DIDN'T MENTION THAT IT HAD HAPPENED AT ALL OR EXPLAIN ANYTHING. I got home to notice a goose egg sized gash that when touched, exploded pus. when we took her back they simply replied "they didn't recall that happening there" and cleaned the wound. I wanted all other furry parents to know that this is NOT the place I would recommend to bring your puppy.

EDIT: In regard to this practice's reply, much of their story is not accurate. They promised that we would have a surgical quote within 24 hours. We waited over 4 days with no response or updates. Some of the words quoted were not said or must have been misheard on the phone call. They also promised that they would let us know how we should handle the sensitive area on our pup that requires the surgery, but they refused to share that information. I called 2 other vets who kindly gave the advice that this practice refused to share.I also find it VERY concerning that a pets health issue that requires surgery is considered a 'minor inconvenience' to this practice. We actually asked if we should see a specialist for this procedure and they encouraged us that they could handle it!Based on their reply, my wife and I are more than grateful to see their true colors on display before letting them handle our puppy. If you look at past reviews there have definitely been issues after their procedures and we are gladly seeing a specialist in another state now :)If you value your pet, please do not bring it here. Our fur families deserve people who care about them and their experience.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Terrible first experience. They told me they could perform surgery on my pup. They said they would call back in 24 hours to book the surgery date. We waited 4 days with no response. When we called we were told that they could not do the surgery. They refused to let us speak to the vet as to the 'why' since this was complete 180 from our initial visit.They then called us back a few hours later and said there was miscommunication and they could have done the surgery. They claimed that we made 'her girls' cry in the office and she needs to 'stick behind my girls'. We were promptly dropped as clients.There is a review from 23 hours ago that hits the nail on the head. NO BEDSIDE MANNER. Will clients be upset and crying if you promise you can help their animal and then change your mind with no explanation? Yes, we love our fur family sometimes more than people. Learn to practice empathy and delight your customers in your practice.This place is a joke and you should look elsewhere.I will say that Callie was nothing but nice. Michelle is a terrible person though. She has NO empathy, do not give them your business.

We absolutely love Adirondack Vet! Everyone is friendly and respectful and all the doctors are amazing! My two big boys can be difficult to handle when going to the vet and the staff here are always patient when working with them but also make sure they’re getting the care/treatment they need.

I’ve been going to this vet for all of my animals since I could remember. My parents before that as well. My dog has severe anxiety, and since they aren’t allowing people in with their pets (which is completely understandable) I had requested my dogs records to bring to a vet (Ballston spa vet) that lets me go in with him so he will actually go in the building. I received a very rude call back from Adirondack Vet stating that if I have my records sent over my account will be closed, which I also understand. I then stated that I would love to come back when and if I’m allowed to come in with my animal and this woman literally hung up on me. After all the years of going there I really thought I’d get a little bit more respect for me and my anxious dog.

Staff is always friendly and helpful with prices for all the procedures presented to you before they are done. They even try to offer alternatives for more expensive procedures to try to help you out. I have never had a bad experience with the technicians or Doctors who are always kind. I have been taking my pet's here for over eight years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever used in almost 25 years of animal ownership. I have lived all around the U.S. and feel very fortunate to have settled locally to this clinic and have been a client for the last seven years. Everyone here is genuine and compassionate and they are experts in animal care. I would never take my pets anywhere else.

Adk vet could not have disappointed me any more. Between mix ups over scheduling mislabeled meds and not returning phone calls, over charging and not knowing what my dogs were there for. after 17 years with this vet and thousands of dollars later, I'm done. Changed vets. Beyond disgusted. They only have 1 star because I had to choose one.

They weren't able to save my dog but they did everything they could and we appreciated their efforts. The wooden box for her ashes and ceramic paw print were a very nice way to remember our beloved pet.

I’ve never. Ever. Experienced a vet (doctors (Dr.Fantabella) & staff (Shannon) ) like this. Truly one of a kind. They have single handedly (if that’s how you spell it lol) taken my penny (doodle) in on the shortest possible notices and / or just made space for her bc it was either on a timely based when we needed things done or just bc they cared. Professional/ following Covid protocol in the easiest way / nice receptionist as well and have been a blessing. Vets usually don’t go out of there way for clients and pets they just go as they do with appts blah blah but these people truly care.

0 stars is what this should be. I was using a neuter certificate and I was told my dog had a blood disease or Lyme disease and couldn’t be neutered after he had been there all day for his neuter appointment. We spent more money on testing at Adirondack & our personal vet to verify and he does NOT have any disease. My vet also obtained a copy of the bloodwork taken the day he was there for the neuter and the blood was in perfectly normal range. They put my dog through more stress then was necessary and also had me spend weeks worrying until I had the final results, and I spent more money to determine what was “wrong” with my boy. We had a complete blood panel done and he does not have any diseases. This place scammed me I believe because I was using the neuter certificate to get more money out it. Really a disgrace to veterinarians everywhere.

I started going to adirondack vet ever since 1995 with Dr. Stifferler not the owner now 2020, today I called them told them my dog was having breathing problems and they told me they were to busy to help me and to bring my dog some where else! are you kidding me?? and than my dog died! DON'T GO TO THIS VET they should be put out of business.

My experience is that everyone there truly cares. They are caring and knowledgeable. Love the place!
