Very dependable little hardware store. Everybody wants to help you when you walk through the store. I got really lucky and was there the day they were testing out the egg grills and got some ham. It was wonderfully cooked and a very nice day. Keep up the good work guys.

The staff are what make this Ace Village Hardware location so special! They are extremely helpful, and the prices are fair with a large selection! The level of customer service and attention are like no other. They always load your outdoor purchases for you (such as dirt, mulch, pavers, etc.), which is much appreciated because I always need to ask and wait a while for help at Lowe's which just feels awkward. I'm always comfortable and taken care of at Ace Village Hardware in Baldwinsville!

We were looking for a specialized drill bit that the big box stores didn't have and honestly, I didn't think ACE would have it. It "appears" as a tiny store. No way! This place is packed with items and they had it! We checked the website and it said the item was in stock and it was! Give these folks a shot, you'd be surprised at how many items they have and there's a gift shop inside as well! A really nice gift shop that I love to grab some local vibe favorites. LOVE ACE!

"John" is my Christmas Angel. I looked everywhere for this particular item....everyone was out. I called there yesterday....I had the pleasure of getting John on the phone. He checked for me....they had one in stock....he put it aside for me.....I was there in less than 20min & got what I needed. Another young man pushing a dolly helped me find something else & even carried my items for me to the register. This is pure, honest to goodness, genuine EXCELLENT customer service!!!! I absolutely L♥️VE this store!!!!!

Chris goes the extra mile!I needed multiple different keys made, several of each. And all but one were intended for the Adirondack mountains - not easy to return. Chris left nothing to chance. Wherever possible, he had me provide the original for cutting, and a working copy (for which I had for most) to double check that he had selected the correct blank. Then he stayed focused on the task to completion.In the end, all the keys worked perfectly - smoothly - on every lock intended. One was for nine locks, four keys, 36 combinations - sucked to be me testing all those combinations, but this story would be so much worse had even a single key not worked on a single lock.Some folks still take the time to do it right the first time, and this really paid off for me.

First time there before I even get inside I was greeted with smiles by 2 employees out front decorating. Then inside when I asked for help they were very happy to help. Everyone very friendly. I loved the variety of things to choose from. Cashier greeted me with a smile and promptly cashed me out. I will definitely go there again.

Great Service....A young man helped and searched for indoor lights. He was very professional but friendly at the same time. Another thing the young lady at the cash register noticed that I had 2 different types if white light...she was very professional and friendly at the same time. I appreciate how young people work in such a gracious sincere way!!! We need to let the community know about these young people!!!

Placed online order for wall hooks for pickup @ store. This was my 2nd order of this item. I received an email both orders that the item was available for pickup & both times the order couldn't be found on the pickup order shelf for approx. 15 - 20 minutes each. Need a better system to inventory small items on their order pickup shelf.

A truly wide selection of unusual and needed items. Not the same typical cracker box selection of Chinese goods as you will find in Home Depot and Lowe's. You find some actual quality goods here. You will pay a slight premium but it is worth it. Employees ALWAYS super helpful and friendly.

Lots of stuff but between 5 or 6 emoloyees, 3 were gathered around the desk in the back listening to one take a phone call. Not one asked if they could help me. I just wandered around looking lost until I found what I needed on my own. Unlike Weedsport where they always greet you and ask if they can help you find something.

I go here for all my tools for work. The staff has always been very helpful and the store has been around since I was a kid. They even have a cool knick knack section that sometimes I can find simple gifts for the holidays.

This place is Awesome. Not only does it have house needs but it has gift items/ toiletry/kitchen and cool kitschy things too. The woman cashier is a sweet heart. I havent met a salesman yet who isnt knowledgeable or very helpful. I had to bring a long piece of day bes frame to fit screws into. They actually tapped a new hole for me since they didnt have something that fit this particular frame that had been abused by previous owner. I like this store. Clean and well kept.

I was just about to enter the store after choosing some flowers outside and they locked the door in my face. I wasn’t aware of the time and didn’t realize they closed at 5:00. The parking lot was full of cars so it didn’t occur to me they were closing. It would have been nice if someone from the store checked to see if there was anyone shopping outside and gave a notice that they were about to close. I am from the area and have shopped there a lot over the years. I always try to support local businesses but from now on they won’t get anymore of my more. I’ll just go to Home Depot or Lowe’s.Very disappointed.

This is the best of local hardware stores. Everyone there is competent and cooperative. Me being of more advanced age, I often cringe when anyone under 25 comes and offers to help, because it's usually much more trouble to try to explain what I'm doing than it's worth. Despite my admitted bias, I gave them a chance, and the youngsters here have been a more than pleasant surprise ...... they understood ..... THEY HELPED ME!!! Forgive me, even the girls!! This store is a local treasure, priced right too.

This store has anything you could think of or need or want as well they have more than tools and hardware and stuff like that .Ace hardware will order anything u need if it's not there in stock the prices are a bit higher but you get what u pay for good quality is all I'm saying .
