In the past, I have avoided this store. HOWEVER, they have recently completed a major makeover. The results of which have not only improved the overall look of the store, but for a change it is staffed by people who make sure the checkouts are staffed. Also, the fruits and vegetables are well stocked. So are the other departments. I definitely intend to shop here more.One side note, unlike one of Tops competitors, some of their self checkouts take cash. Very happy with the store.

Absolutely ridiculous cost for basic groceries! Box of name brand cereal for $8, coffee for $14 and bread for $6 a loaf. Price gouging to the extreme.

I came in for one item walked out with four not to uncommon for my shopping habits..... I want to self checkout no one at all was at the self check outs, the other registers open with only 1 person in each line. No wait at all to check out........

I used to work for Tops Friendly Markets. And honestly… most of the employees aren’t that friendly along with their ridiculous prices. It is so very rude for them to price things the way they do. I know they overprice their products because they’re a dying grocery store and need to stay in business somehow, but still…Most of the time, all of the mild selections of items that you can obtain from this store are sometimes even 8 whopping dollars less ANYWHERE ELSE. Tops is insane and I don’t recommend shopping there. I only shop there occasionally because it’s literally the closest one. And that’s the thing about Tops… they tend to set up their locations far away from any other market.So in hindsight, save a buck, actually no, save a 100 bucks and shop elsewhere.

Great produce and selection of brand name and "generic" brands of food. Fresh flower department greets you ar the door, next to large , fresh produce of all types including exotic fruits and vegetables. Staff carefully seem to move and freshen products. Organic fruit and vegetables available. Self weighing and UPC scanner printer is great and time saver. Seafood dept is very good and meat butchers are excellent. Bakery is excellent. Deli is excellent offering fresh made pizza , subs, sandwiches etc. Very convenient. Pharmacy onsite also but Ive never used it. ATM onsite, Coinstar, lottery ticket self serve machine and Redbox. Probably more Im missing but can get everything in 1 stop

Downer Street Pharmacy: Outstanding service! Tammy and Danielle really go the distance to ensure your satisfaction. They talk to you like you’re their neighbor, not a number. If only other places that receive our monetary funds for services provided were as respectful and professional as those provided by TOPS Pharmacy, the world just might be a better place.

Did some shopping earlier today and had a very pleasant experience with Collin in the deli. He was very nice, helpful and polite. It was nice dealing with a young man with such a wonderful work ethic.

The medicine I bought here the day before yesterday is expired 。I wanted to return it, but the manager told me that I had already opened it and was not allowed to return it, and his attitude was extremely bad. .

Couple months ago, I did a two star rating for this store. My story I posted was done at the wrong time and I gave a review when I was mad. My rule is don't review something that happened 2 seconds ago. Good or bad.This place is still my hometown store. They are a struggling supermarket, battling stiff competition, but they are still fighting.I love the employees. I do, I just think the staff is well maintained. During the day, you got your grinders. The ones who show up everyday and just kill their responsibilities. They do a remarkable job, and it's starting to show up more and more as the store improves daily. Nighttime brings in the younger staff. Bright, young kids who just wanna make that money. Positive attitudes, and they really do want to help customers. Another reason the store gets my new review.They are showing improvement, and I tip my cap. Prices are still too high. Nobody wants to buy 10 packets of taco seasoning for 10 bucks. That whole 10 for 10 needs to go.

Tops prices are absolutely atrocious i ONLY go there to buy coffee creamer bc it’s closer than Walmart and the prices aren’t much different for that, but honestly we all just collectively need to stop shopping here until they lower their prices. They have always been significantly more expensive than Walmart or ALDI literally convience store prices I could probably go to Byrne dairy and find stuff cheaper to be honest. I hate tops so much also it always smells like rotten fish

Wanted to love it here as it’s a lot nicer than a lot of Tops markets and much bigger and i was loving it until my boyfriend and I went through self checkout, did two separate transactions but used the same reusable bag. Got accused of stealing and after showing our receipts, no apology was given, just more attitude as if we were in the wrong. As someone who has worked in customer service I try not to let things like that get to me as we all have bad days but being accused of not paying for our items is humiliating, especially for two people who did pay.

Have had many issues with my families insurance for years (who hasn't), but the staff here is very helpful ,upbeat,and always ready to lend a hand anyway they can. Ive had very good service there for years now with every staff member. But i wanted to reach out today and praise an employee who not only took the time to assist me over the phone in the busiest time of the day today, friday. She not only fixed my insurance issues but got my prescription properly filled per my PCP directions. Thanks you so much Meghan!!!!!!! I hope this message reaches you because you and your staff deserve it!!!

The selection at this TOPS is both varied and quality, having choices that even some of the Wegmans around here don't offer. Living close by, I find this location extremely convenient for a quick shopping trip for necessities. The place has always been clean and tidy when I've visited, and rarely full or too busy to comfortably navigate.If this review was helpful, please consider a thumbs up. Not much to love about this grocery store. The prices seem to be the highest in the area, and the selection is not great. They don't carry a lot of brands that you can find at other stores of this size, and the stock on the shelves for popular items always seems empty unless you go there on the day they 'get a truck in'.It's also EXTREMELY annoying they lock the door where the carts are after 9 or 10pm. I get it, they do it for security reasons, but how about just having more surveillance on that side of the store, or an extra employee with their eyes open?I cannot verify this, but it seems like they raise the prices on items before a 'sale' to make you think you are getting a good deal, when really you are not. For example the recent "buy two, get four free!" sale they had on Schweppes's seltzer water - the sale price was $7.29 each, but if you go to a place like target or walmart, they sell these for only $3 each regular price. So really, you are not saving any money at all.

Everything is usually great except the donuts. Went there and bought a dozen the other day and they were all over fried but the plain glaze donuts. My mom and I ate maybe 2 each before we couldnt eat anymore.Disappointing.

The worst experience I have ever had with trying to get fish dinners. When I arrived there was 2 people ahead me waiting on orders. After about 15 minutes the women in front of me was finally asked if she had a call in order. She did and finally received her order. At this point I was first in line. At no point did anyone ask me what I wanted. After 39 minutes I just left. Very poorly organized. Need better timelng on their call in orders. Looked like the keystone cops behind the counter. Might try again next week with a call in order.

Counterfeit salon products. Are you insane? Are you just dumb? Do you understand how much more risk is involved speaking strictly legally selling Counterfeit products? As opposed to the easy revenue generated by just selling a product that demand exists for?

Consistently the worst deli in all of Syracuse. First off the quality of the meats is very bad, they overstock the pre-cut meat that no one wants and they get an attitude when you ask for fresh cut meat which when you get home smells like its rotten. And apparantly thin means thick when you ask for thinly sliced meat. Horrible staff and I'll never go back here again. It was bad enough for me to waste my time leaving this review.

Only Place I Like To Shop!! It just stinks that Fulton Ny. Doesn't have a Tops anymore. So now I have to drive to B'Ville To Do All My Grocery Shopping. Cause I Only Like Tops Supermarket's for All My Meats. Cause They ALWAYS have The Best Quality Meat Selection's to choose from.

This store is our "go to" as close to our neighborhood. They have revamped the store and have many specialty items with good prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially cashier Kathy. They take time to tell or show you where items are and have good sale specials. The store is clean and well stocked.

Tops is nice. This ones bigger than the one i usually go to. It makes me like it better.... but I can't justify driving allllllllllllllllllll that way just to shop at this nicer one. So I will have to only come on special occasions. Maybe weekends and holidays. My life will be complete as long as I may visit. In all seriousness though.... this is store, store has food, good store, simple.

There was a lady in the bakery department that was more than willing to make me a two layer cake the morning I called. It was a last-minute switch for a smash cake photoshoot for my daughter and I couldn't be more than happy with the cake that they made. I had called other local stores and there they were unable to do this on such short notice. I will definitely be coming back to the store because of this women's amazing customer service!

Went to this store on Saturday June 13 approximately 3:30 PM. Who ever the woman is that was working "customer service " should really find a different job. Completely rude, disregarding of pleasing customers. Do yourself a favor Tops....remove her immediately if you value your company.

Prices are generally higher than Wegmans and Walmart. Clean store staff is 50/50. I've had wonderful cashiers and miserable ones. Watch the labeling of dates and prices.

Tops in Baldwinsville bakery is amazing! Their donuts are wonderful and their cakes are so good!
