I was forced to switch to here bc insurance no longer was accepted at our usual place. Every time my child's doctor sends a script over from an appointment in the morning, it is never ready when we go to pick it up. It doesn't matter what time. Today is was after 5pm and they said a half an hour. They do this every time. It's automatically half an hour. It's like they wait until you show up asking for it before they start it. I purposely wait all day so it would be ready, but no, I have to drive all the way back home or find something to do and then come back later. Unacceptable

I ended up moving back to wegmans. They kept asking my old doctor for refills scripts and wondering why I wasn’t getting any. I clearly had my new doctor on file because he’s been refilling my scripts for. Every time I call there I’m put on hold for over twenty minutes at times to we’re I have to call them back. Just no waste of my time.

Just leave this pharmacy and go to Wegmans or Walgreens. Called because we needed an emergency inhaler as we were going on a trip, was told they’ll rush it and it’ll be ready in 15min. I called to add an extra item and I understand that wouldn’t be ready for a while but I was at least expecting the inhaler to be ready when I arrived a half hour later. I understand that I put a rush on them but they are a pharmacy, it’s not like we can go and get a rescue inhaler anywhere else, it is literally their job to give you your medicine if you need it. Apparently, if you are in desperate need of an inhaler, you’re better off dying as you will not get one when you need it and will have to wait in their hour-long queue. Seriously, this place isn’t worth giving business to. We will certainly be leaving this pharmacy.

I could write a book about the negative experiences and rapidly declining service at this Rite Aid, but I will keep it current. Wait times are unacceptable and communication is non-existent. On more that one occasion, I have had life saving medications called in by the Emergency Department that took over 24 hours to fill (filled only after I went in and requested them). I have regular monthly prescriptions that are often out of stock and take days to weeks to arrive. Most recently I requested a refill and went in 12 hours later to find that it was not ready. The pharmacist only then told me that there was an issue with the insurance/Doctor. When I pointed out that I should have been notified there was an issue I was rudely told that I need to sign up for notifications. That should not be necessary, but I AM SIGNED UP for notifications and get them on a regular basis. The pharmacist was EXTREMELY rude when I told her I was. She argued and yelled at me while walking around, she could not even stop to discuss with me privately. The medication is very crucial, as are most prescription medications, regardless of status, one should be notified if there is an issue as soon as possible so it can be addressed in a timely manner. Avoid this location unless you like long wait times (a day or more), rude staff and surprises regarding your health.

I have been going to this pharmacy for over ten years. Sure, things have changed. Sometimes the wait for pharmacy is insane! Please remember, they are short staffed and doing everything possible to get to every customer. The employees are very personable and friendly.To those that complain, why don't YOU get a job there and help them out?! Patience people. Patience.

Terrible store everytime I get a prescription filled here there's outrageous wait times. I've given it a few trys before writing this review but I feel now it's time to speak up. I've used the IVR to refill with an estimated wait time of 730 that evening well I gave it until the next day went in and they told me that it wouldn't be ready for another hour... why is this? Thank God it wasn't an emergency because if so I'd have been sol. Well this brings me to today a prescription was called in over an hr ago from the Dr's office called to see if it were ready and the best they could do again was one hour more. I am tired of this place and will be taking my business elsewhere not worth my time or struggles. I have many more occasions I could rant about but I'll stop with this one. Absolutely ridiculous.

The worst pharmacy period. I’ve been waiting in the drive thru for 35 minutes. Tried calling was hung up on. The customer service here is horrendous. The tech helped everyone inside and never once came over to see if anyone was here outside. Two other cars pulled off after waiting. I would have gone inside but no one was at the drive thru so I figured it would be quick. Finally after 36 minutes waiting I got my scripts and was able to drive off.

This location has issues with their covid scheduling system. Twice now I have made appointments, have confirmation emails showing the date and time and when I get there they claim there is no appointment. Even when showing them the confirmation email they still say there is no appointment showing. In the 15 minutes spent going back and forth with them they could have just done the test or shot.

I just want to Thank the pharmacist that stayed a couple minutes late and transferred my sons nebulizer medicine from another (closed) rite aid to Baldwinsvilles rite aid for us to pick up! That extra couple of minutes saved us! This was Amazing customer service. We appreciate all the hard work and dedication. Thank you again.

Have been coming here for many years, since the store wasn’t even rite aid. Asked aBout Covid booster and was told I neede to make an appointment on line. Used their convoluted website and made an appointment 1 minute in advance. Went to counter and was told I wasn’t in the system. Also, years ago was put on their list for shingles vaccine. They said they’d call me when it was available. I checked back for the first 2 years to no avail. It’s been about 4 years now. Plenty of pharmacies around, I’ll switch to Ealgreens or Kinneys

The pharmacist at this store is a poor representation of the Rite Aid Corporation.The store staff is always kind and more than helpful.Unfortunately 2 yrs ago ,due to this ill tempered female pharmacist I decided to get my prescriptions filled elsewhere.Recently I decided to revisit the pharmacy on Downer St Baldwinsville to get vaccinated. To my surprise this person was still employed and carrying the same snark demeanor. Her sharp and inconsiderate attitude regarding questions I had about the J&J vaccine was the last straw for me. If you are looking for a professional and compassionate pharmacist go somewhere else.

For months now i have had to make multiple trips a day, the other day was 4 times to try and get my medications and every time im told to come back in 30min, 1hr because the meds haven't been filled yet and each time i come back its still not filled. The excuse is no one is working and they are bz but dont tell me to come back on 30min if its not going to be filled. I am now without meds bc rite aid cant get their act together.

Worst pharmacy in the area. Needed to pick up very important medication for my partner after they got surgery. They kept telling me "we just got it" every hour I went to go pick it up/or call for 4 times. Thanks for "helping people"

Me and my wife went to rite aid for a medication a lady who worked their did not let my wife use the restroom and was saying you are not allowed to go in the bathroom so my wife had to hold it until I said "Fine me and my wife will pee right on the floor" so she got scared and let us in the bathroom.
