For all your gardening needs, forget shopping on Amazon or the big box stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. This local shop has an inviting, small-town feel with a friendly, helpful staff! I've bought so much cheap junk from Amazon only to find that B'Ville Supply has what I need and then some! It makes a huge difference to be able to see and touch the selection of items before making my decision. All fair prices, too. A gardener's paradise where the inventory inspires you to start many new projects! Ha!

The people are very knowledgeable and have garden and farm supplies. The birdseed is very reasonable, especially when you are on their "friends with birds". I get 10% off. In the spring, they have beautiful hanging plants and seedlings for any garden.

Think Spring. Seeds are in. The sign says so. B'Ville Supply on the eastern edge of town has seen a few springs arrive and then transform into summer. Family owned, so the cashier with gray hair looks like the young man arranging sacks of bird food and potting mix. I wandered inside because the sign advertised local honey and maple syrup. B'ville has sold honey from two beekeepers for over two decades. I wanted to sit on the wide porch where hay and firewood stay dry. The young man brought me out a folding chair. Still too early to sell those Adirondacks chairs with the scalloped backs. Guess the place will be placing orders for chicks but none are yet on display. This must be the agricultural side of town because Byrne Farm dairy sells fresh milk across the street.I bought a small jar of Lake Effect Honey from Palermo New York, good price.What is rice coal? Can it be burned for heat just like wood pellets?
