A hidden gem! Petco total care is incredible! I called in a panic to have my 10 year old dog seen with an emergency. I was worried I would have to wait but the hospital manager, Allisen was able to get her in right away! I was greeted with warmth and compassion immediately upon entering the facility. Dr. Yisrael treated my dog- within 24 hours of her diagnosis, and treatment, my pup was feeling back to herself! I am so thankful! Highly recommend and I will be sending all of my friends and family to this location with their fur babies! Thank you!!!!

Today I had the pleasure of interacting with Corey and I must say, their dedication to both customers and pets is truly exceptional this is not my local Petco but I will be coming here from now on he went above and beyond for my fur baby.His helpful advice and recommendations made sure I wasn’t getting the wrong supplements for my dog while still finding supplements in my budget. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was also incredibly friendly and approachable, making my Petco experience delightful. His passion for animals is evident, he genuinely cares about the well-being of my pet.I highly recommend talking with him if you have questions about your fur baby.

Went to the clinic. Really friendly staff in the clinic. The store is well organized and big. Staff was busy stocking shelves, cleaning pets cages, mopping, register line was non existent. Love it here and will return.

Manager Tony, the morning shift store manager at Petco, lacks compassion for animals. I recently visited the store to purchase urinary prescription food C/D for my cat. I had informed Tony during my last visit on September 15th that I could obtain the food without a doctor's prescription. However, at present, my cat is hungry and without food. This situation is completely unacceptable, as Petco should have a solution for customers requiring veterinary assistance on weekends. I explained to Tony that my cat had undergone PU surgery and urgently needed the urinary prescription food. His response, focused solely on protecting his job, was disheartening. It is truly astonishing that someone like Tony, with such a lack of empathy, has been appointed as a manager. He's answer was "I don't want lose my job" , Unfortunately, my cat will have to go without food until Monday, all because of Tony, the bearded store manager.

First time in many years I’ve used Petco to groom Munchy or even gone to the store. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the courtesy and friendly disposition of the staff. My dog had a terrific grooming and he was in a great mood when I picked him up. Kudos to the groomer, Kim. I’ll be returning.

We have been taking our Wolfie to be groomed by Petco staff since he was a puppy. Our little pomchi is now 13 years old. I have trusted Ashley and his groomer of late, Ivory implicitly with our "baby". A special THANK YOU to Ivory... our most recent visit was going to be a challenge because Wolfie recently had dental surgery and muscular problems. Ivory handled him with all the care in the world! Wolfie is a screamer, but she came through. He looks great! Dr. Yisrael took great care of Wolfie with his dental needs and prescribed meds that helped him heal quickly. Thank you Petco!

The prices have gone up so much. However, the grooming services are worth every penny!!! We have 2 rescue dogs. One was crate abused. He always comes home happy!!! No issues EVER!!

Good stock for treats, Groomers are excellent, and Vetco Veterinarians are thorough. The staff is friendly and helpful. My dog loves coming here and he dislikes leaving!The only downside is that I find it impossible to make an appointment for the groomer by phone. They are so busy that nobody picks up the phone, so we go in-person to the desk by the groomer to schedule appointments.

I strongly recommend against anyone getting their pets groomed at this location. I brought my dog in for a nail trimming and the woman behind the counter said she could take her. She seemed nervous but I though maybe she had gotten nipped or something by a dog recently.She almost immediately cut multiple quicks on my dog. I know that this sometimes happens but it became apparent quickly that she didn't know what she was doing. My dog obviously reacted when that happened because it is painful and she proceeded to tighten the neck harness to where my dog was choking. At this point I started banging on the glass (thankfully I was there watching) and said I would take my dog home with two bleeding paws. She didn't even notice the bleed I had to point it out for her to put the antiseptic powder on. The groomers name is Rohina (I think that is the correct spelling), do not let her touch your dog.After this incident happened everyone in the grooming staff came out to talk to me and to say there have been problems with her and should file a complaint. If that is the case..WHY WAS SHE ALLOWED TO TAKE MY DOG IN THE FIRST PLACE. While this was a walk-in everyone knew my dog. We would have gladly waited for someone who was capable of taking care of her. It seemed like everyone just was waiting for this to happen so someone would complain to get this woman fired.I will never go back to PetCo for anything after this. I will say if you have to go there John who we usually take her to is lovely. He never uses choke collars, he has someone hug and pet her if she's nervous. He gives her love. I am sad that we will not be back to see him but I am so furious at this event I cannot go back.

We first got a puppy last year from a shelter so needless to say grooming was a must. I called so many places to no avail until I called petco. We found our groomer Shania and haven't looked back she always takes such good care of our now 2 girls. We also have taken the training class with Joe. Who happens to amazing. We never thought we would love going to petco for so many services.

Had my cat groomed for the very first time. He's 6. I didn't know what to expect and honestly I was nervous for my fur baby. They took such good care of him and had a great deal of patients. He was good for the most part but had his moments as any cast would. Friendly and calming environment!

Petco in Baldwin had some of the most amazing employees. Since our family got Apollo (our 2 1/2 year old boxer) we always go to Petco. Apollo loves getting bathed by Ivory, getting trained by Joe, and seeing all of the other Petco employees like Alfred! I wish I remember the other employees names but I will always recommend this Petco. It is so apparent that Apollo loves going there as well, which as a pet owner, makes me feel very happy and comfortable.
