This is going to be long but I have to include everything lol..I went to every Petsmart and Petco looking for rats because I was interested in getting a couple. I lost my dog March 24th of last year and it broke me mentally. He went from 10 years old, looking 5 years old, to heart disease and death 9 months after diagnosis. I would watch him on my camera at work and coach him through his episodes of syncope, and he would sit by the camera and listen to me.Anyway, I started talking to Shannon about the different small animals and thankfully I mentioned rats because she said "we have two in the back". I immediately wanted them and I left the store already in communication with someone selling a cage, ordered things from Amazon, and 24 hours later here they are! I'm going to include pics. They seem comfortable but hesitant. They're eating and drinking (the one with the crooked tail is so brave) lol.Lastly, aside from Shannon I spoke to Alanna who is a great person and truly cares about animals the way I do. She could be the face of Petsmart. She's so knowledgeable and I left there so confident because of her advice. I have a feeling this will be a rotating door of rats due to their short life, but it's okay.I want to show you guys what I came up with overnight because people, it took very little effort to make this happen and I'm nowhere near finished so don't go trying to get any type of animal without being prepared because it's really not that hard, it's about YOU. Okay I'm done...here's pics of my little guy that I miss so much, the cage, and the little pocket puppies.

I bought 2 Glo fish here on Wednesday and within 12 hours they had died while the original fish was still alive. Saturday, I went back and had the greatest guy help me. He tested the water. Explained what happened and refunded me the fish. Once my tank is fixed I will def be back to get more fish!

This was the most beautiful pet store I've been in! It was so clean it was practically sparkling and I did not smell any evidence of animals, which is pretty amazing considering the fact that it's a pet store. Everything was well stocked and there was an extensive variety of products for dogs, fish, and small pets. They had nice cichlid selection too, which I don't see often. The layout of the store was easy to navigate and spacious enough to avoid any unwanted dog to dog contact. My cashier was quick and efficient while being polite. Great job guys!

This pet store is amazing. They have a very helpful staff who are always willing to take their time and answer all your questions without making you feel as if you're imposing on them.The reptiles seem very healthy and reasonably priced!My favorite is the fish department. The tanks look very clean and well kept and the inhabitants look amazing. The young lady who works in the evenings is the most knowledgeable on the topic of fish keeping. Her answers to all your questions are very detailed and professional. I always leave feeling like I've learned more whenever she educates me on what I'm looking to learn about the hobby. She is the most professional I've ever seen!For these reasons I gave this PetSmart 5 stars!

Very clean! And I found the prices to be much better than Petco. I also found each animals tank/cage was very clean so that shows me they are well taken care of. The staff was very friendly, it wasn’t busy being that I went later in the evening but plenty of registers available

Andy did my puppy's haircut and now her skin is cut in various areas and her underlying skin is exposed.My puppy is irritated and the vet suggested oatmeal baths to soothe her.Andy also failed to mention she had cut her. If you take your pup I recommend Becky!

Tried to pick up some of the refrigerated dog food today, but it was too busy and there wasn't enough employees to open the case for me. Guess I'll have to try later or find another store.

Had placed an online order and stopped in to pick it up. Upon entering was promptly greeted and assisted. Even though there is one closer to my house may make the trek to this one as it seemed like more employees were available and working.

When my wife was looking for a house for us to buy in the Babylon area. I didn't even think to be near a mall of any kind. I'm glad I let her do the house searching instead of me. PetSmart has the dog and cat products that we need when we don't get a chance or forget to order on Chewy. The prices are good on most of the items we buy and all the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. We have adopted a cat from there and she is such a motherly cat to the other cats and kittens we have.So because of the convenience and friendliness I will continue to shop at PetSmart of North Babylon.

Went here to purchase a Betta and some minor supplies and the tall lady with the purple hair and chunky boots would not stop harassing me. She went on and on about how I should not buy the fish that day and should instead buy a brochure and view her social media profiles on "correct fish care" etc. She also said i would need to bring back my tank water over the cores of the next 2 weeks, now don't get me wrong im all for informing people on the animals they get but someone needs to take her off her high horse. She acts as if shes the all mighty fish guardian and will refuse a sale just because she feels your unfit for the fish, she will also shove (not recommend) other more expensive products in your face that you "will" need in order to keep your fish alive and if you get any other product that was not her recommendation she will refuse to sell you those products. I have had multiple bad experiences with the woman and now have to go out of my way to another pet store just to avoid her do better PetSmart Deer Park and fire her.

This location is usually always clean which is amazing. The shelves aren't packed out completely and the reptile section doesn't seem to get certain items in ( wood pieces and better thermostats). The staff are super friendly . Some of the inclosures for the display reptiles are sadly small and overcrowded but all in all good spot for your pet needs.

I only come to this PetSmart to get my dog, Augie, groomed because of Eva!! She is the absolute best and always takes the best care of my dog. I even moved 15miles away and still drive here just so I know my dog is being groomed by Eva and is having a great experience. Thank you Eva so much!

Nancy in the aquarium section went above and beyond helping me; she answered every question I had and even took the time to fill out a notecard with resources to learn more about fish and how to take care of them. Some of the best customer service I've ever seen; I will definitely be coming back.

Grooming Service: Girls are super sweet. My 2 puppies smell like Christmas cookies and perfume. They made an effort to cut their nails as short as possible safety. They were quick and my dogs were handled with care. Thank you Dani. I never write reviews but the credit is deserved.

Love this PetSmart! They’re always so clean and they take care of their animals very well. The only issue I have ad of late is that it’s been hit or miss with purchasing cat food. There have been some days when the shelves are empty and not because of a sale. It’s actually not the company’s fault, it’s a shortage of tin? At least that is what I’ve been told. Other than that the staff is knowledgeable and I love they have a cat adoption inside. GO RESCUE AND ADOPT!!!💜🐈🐈‍⬛🐈💜

This is a nice pet shop. The staff are all very nice and helpful and the store has always been super clean when I've visited. What stands out the most to me, though, is the grooming service they offer.The grooming team they have on staff are exceptional. They're extremely good with my dogs and take good care of them.

I went to Petsmart North Babylon NY for training with my puppy Benny🐶I was surprised at how well organized it was and Dara was a pleasure to work with. She is smart and patient and gave me the tools I need as a first time dog mom. I can not say enough nice things about Dara. Because of my wonderful experience with her I signed up for the intermediate class in September. I am looking forward to working with Dara again.Thank you.

I come here probably once a week at least. There's a lot to do here including dog training, visiting the cats, shopping, grooming, vet services(on certain days). I have brought my dog for training and Dara does a great job. I'm going to sign up for the more challenging training course soon. The groomers here are also very nice and are more than willing to deal with my stubborn corgi.

I got my first Guinea pig a few weeks ago from this place. Employees are nice and my Guinea pig is doing great! I’m giving this store 5 stars because I’ve got fish here before too and the fish I got lasted a long time. Absolutely love this place definitely recommend you going there!! B.T.J.’s jungle gym is so much more better definitely go there
