An extremely personable gentleman showed up to take a look around at my very sudden septic woes that were keeping me and my dog from inhabiting our dwelling. By days end my four legged beast and I were back home running water and enjoying the best night's sleep in history. We used Averill Park Septic Service for the first time yesterday. We are relatively new homeowners, so didn't know exactly what to expect when engaging a septic service. I called Monday and the woman I spoke with on the phone was wonderful. She was able to find a timeslot on Thursday (yesterday) to squeeze us in. The tech who came out was knowledgeable and friendly, explained things clearly to my husband, and replaced the sod so cleanly you can't even tell the spot had been dug out in the first place. Thank you, Averill Park Septic, we will certainly be using you again in the future, and will certainly let friends and family know about the awesome job you did!

My shower backed up yesterday (Sunday) and I put a call into Averill Park Septic Services. They arrived promptly Monday am and pumped the septic and then cleared a clog. Both service professionals were exceptional, polite and knowledgeable. They had to hand dig to get to the problem and restored lawn to original shape…putting sod back beautifully. The service was great. The only issue I had was that the price range of what service might cost wasn't informed. The upside of it was that they came right away as soon as i called. The employee was professional, knowledgeable, and didn't take too long. I will use them again in the future.

Thank you Averill Park Septic for saving our Thanksgiving!We had a emergency septic issue at 4:30pm the day before Thanksgiving. We had a houseful of guests and planned to host Thanksgiving dinner at our home. We called APS and they arrived within 30 minutes of our call and made the necessary clean out to our cast iron pipes. I needed emergency septic services on a weekend. After calling another company multiple times with no answer and no call back I was given a recommendation for Averill Park Septic Service. They called me back right away and arrived at my home within an hour. They explained all possible charges in advance and to the detail. Their prices were reasonable and their service was extremely friendly and reliable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of septic services.

When we needed a leach field installed, they were very quick to come and dig hole for $575 (a service Bill Baldwin and Son's did for free). Dave was professional and friendly and told us our options. We agreed that I would remove a dozen trees, and reach out to schedule. We've used this company before for pumping and one emergency call in the past and have always been pleased.After removing the trees, I emailed them on 9/13/19 and got no response. I called the beginning of October and on 10/11/19 I received an email back a few days later. We wanted the job done in June of 2020 anyway so we weren't in a hurry.Flash forward: a few calls and messages were left this year, with the latest being in May. It's now July. I gave up trying to give this company my business. I'm more upset at this point that I had to drop $575 for a hole.We ended up calling Bill Baldwin and Sons, who dug their own hole for free. Installed a beautiful leach field ($4k less than Averill Park quoted us) which included a new flush mount tank cover (which Averill Park said they would charge extra for) and included a tank pumping (which of course, Averill Park was going to charge extra for).Do yourself a favor and shop around.

In the middle of the afternoon, on a Sunday, holiday weekend, I noticed a problem with the drain that runs into the septic system. Big problem.I called and spoke to a friendly person who very quickly understood the nature of the problem and said she'd get in touch with a service person. The serviceman came quickly, diagnosed the problem, addressed it, fixed it, done.They're great. Honest, dependable, professional. Top marks from start to finish. I've used the company for years for ordinary septic maintenance, and this is not the first time they've come on short notice to remedy an emergency problem.Five stars to all.Service: Drain cleaning

I called for a septic inspection on a home I am purchasing. I needed the inspection done on a certain day. Averill Park Septic was extremely accommodating and very friendly. Lee was my technician, he was very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He called me with the results of my inspection followed with a report. I shopped around to find a good septic service company and heard great things about Averill Park Septic so gave them a call and am so happy I did!! Office staff were great to deal with and scheduled an appointment at my convenience. When the truck arrived I was anxious because I wasn't sure where the lid to the tank was located but Brian, the driver, took everything in stride. Within minutes he located the lid and was pumping the tank. Brian was polite, easy to talk too and answered some questions I had about my septic. I normally don't take the time to write reviews but this company was great to deal with. About 13 years ago I had them service my house in Speigletown, NY. I had very good experiance with them back then. Fast forward to last weekend and I am now renting the place and my tenants called with some issues on a Sunday morning. Septic was full and i needed it pumped out. I called expecting not to get a service call for a few days and was greeted by a woman that was very sympathetic to my problem. She had someone out there with in the hour on a Sunday. Come to find out it was the Son of the Family business and he has very friendly and went the extra mile to get my problem solved and charged a very fair price for prompt weekend service.
