Great winery with fantastic wines. Family run business. Got to meet the owner (he was so kind) and great colleagues (thank you Russ). Family friendly with an exceptional view. Right next to a great park and a brewery. Small bites and kid drinks available as well, and the tasting and wines are very reasonably priced.

Good wine, not a great place to work. No learning curve, no accommodations for anyone. If you don’t do things exactly right they won’t like you. Also unlawful medical discrimination.There’s always tension when the Bosses are around and you have to walk on eggshells. If your personality isn’t the perfect match they won’t even give you a chance. And they won’t tell you when you’re not living up to their high and exacting standards.This business is not special enough to have such a superiority complex. Unfortunately I missed all the red flags because I really needed a job and was led to believe they liked me when in fact, they were lying to my face.

This is one little gem of a place. Wine was superb and the view spectacular!! The staff couldn't be nicer...explaining their wines and styles. Worth the time and trip....local Brewery around the corner if looking for both types of tastings.

To access the winery by boat, use the long point state park docks. Call and they will come pick you up via car. (Note for covid - no dogs allowed in car, but are allow at the winery, no reservations needed. Food and wine are both great. Very friendly service.

Went in on a rainy day and enjoyed our tastings with a very knowledgeable staff member. Definitely learned a lot about each of their wines and really enjoyed each wine we tasted. The food options were mostly just cheese and crackers, but they were very reasonably priced. Ended up picking up three bottles to go and got a discount on them. Would definitely recommend!

A gem among wineries and not to be missed. The view is amazing, staff wonderful and very accommodating. The tasting itself was great as staff was so knowledgeable and we were introduced to an incredible wine called Zinderella which has become my new favorite. We will definitely be returning.

Really tasty wines, great variety, beautiful setting with amazing views of the lake. Plus, Gary was a great host, taught us a lot and since it wasn't crowded, even showed us the barrel room. I've been to a bunch of wineries along the Finger Lakes, and this was a great one, highly recommend!

Inns of Aurora organized a fabulous tasting for our group, with Russ in the barrel room. I have been very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wines on my first trip to the Finger Lakes. Long Point’s whites are grown locally, and the red grapes come from CA (for local production). Russ’s commentary was very entertaining and really distinguished this winery. Also loved meeting their golden, Lissy.

A wonderful gem on the east side of Cayuga Lake! It's totally worth the trip over to the east side, even though most of the other Cayuga Lake Wine Trail stops are on the west side. Gary and Rosemary are incredibly warm and welcoming, as well as Lizzie their super friendly dog. Speaking of dogs, they are dog-friendly, and we always bring our two dogs. My wife and I are dry to semi dry white wine drinkers, and Gary certainly delivers in this department: we never leave without at least a case. The view is also easily one of the best on Cayuga Lake. Cheers!

LOST this loyal customer who has patronized this winery for a long time. I will get to the owner, who after I bought a case of wine, belittled me in the tasting room in front of other customers for 3 minutes. WINE: A few wines had a cardboard/newspaper/ wet dog taste, and another was oxidized. Not my favorite wine in the area, but I had a connection to this winery and the barn that fell in a storm many years ago. I still managed to find a few ok examples and purchased a case that I was going to share with my neighbors on the lake. Ok now on to the mean spirited woman owner who in front of at least 5 people, ranted on and on about other customers that visited her winery. She told me stories of how awful some of them are, then started unfairly equating that to me. As I sat there and listened and offered my apologies for how other customers made her upset, I said "I understand what you are saying, but how does that apply to me?" She didn't answer but continued the tirade of how other people were not nice to her. As I struggled to free myself of this conversation, she made the entire group feel very awkward, like it was somehow our fault that she has rude customers". When we left, I thought, does she know what the Golden Rule is? We shared this horrific experience with everyone on my street, and came to the conclusion that none of us would never support someone with that negative attitude. To sum up the entire story, the wine is C+ and the customer service is F-. I do hope you learned something from this review and you can grow as a person. Talking negative about previous paying customers to current paying customers is not the way to do business.

Just discovered this fantastic winery. Understated at first sight, but wow, great wines! Tried a variety of whites and reds. Got sold on the rose and reserve reds. Russ was a most knowledgeable (and entertaining) expert. Highly recommended snd can’t wait to go back.

It was absolutely Wonderful. The scenery was spectacular of Cayuga Lake Sunset while I sat outside enjoying a glass of wine. And the service was especially helpful. Very nice place to visit.

Great value wine tasting and wines are all vegan! Staff was all Incredibly friendly, too! We had a wonderful time. Also, definitely try to sandwiches on the focaccia bread! We had a short amount of time for our tasting, and they were perfectly efficient, allowing us to control the tempo of the tastings.

Long Point Winery has been a favorite for many years, this time was no exception. We were warmly greeted and quickly served. Our “Sommelier” was a pleasure, demure yet confident. I didn’t get her name however she is a diesel mechanic, obviously. Long Point Winery will continue to be a place we’ll be sure to visit each time we are in the area.

Good wine selection and very tasty. Russ was great. Very knowledgeable and knew what to suggest based on your preferences. The secret gem here is their kitchen. Fantastic lite fare and sandwiches. The Reuben was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time.

This winery overlooks Cayuga Lake and, trust me, it's worth the drive. They have earned local, statewide, national, and international medals for their quality wines. I did a wine tasting (which I paid for) as well as bought a variety of their wines. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Excellent red and white wines in a beautiful setting. They produce both very dry and quite sweet wines, so almost everyone will find a favorite. During the summer the sandwich offerings are huge and delicious. The owner Gary is such a nice man who is happy to share his wine knowledge. The counter help are also quite knowledgeable. Highly recommend.Note that your dog is welcome to join you under the tent and they provide water bowls - very much appreciated during the hot days of summer.

Excellent and interesting selection of wine. Jack was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We didn’t purchase any food but the menu selections looked delicious. Our favorites were the stainless steel barrel aged Chardonnay, Zinfandel and the dry Riesling. Absolutely fantastic wines and experience.

The wine was so-so, nothing was a standout. The sandwiches were out of this world and i wish i could give 10 stars - OMG! This was one of the best sandwiches i've ever had, the foccacia was fresh and soft, the ingredients were so fresh and delicious - the view was incredible and the staff was VERY sweet. Please stop by this winery for lunch, you won't regret it!

We didn’t plan to stop into Long Point, but were so pleased that we did! Robin was absolutely lovely, and led us through a wonderful tasting experience. We would certainly go back next time we are in the area. Enjoy a tasting, glass of wine, or some cheese and pepperoni snack packs made fresh by the owner. Loved the list of places on the whiteboard that carries their wine, so that if you’re out to dinner you can enjoy a glass of Long Point wine.

If you are looking for OUTSTANDING dry red wines....this is your place! We have done many of the wineries on Seneca and most of the wineries on Cayuga......Long Point has a staff with wealth of knowledge and by far the reds "knock it out of the park"

Excellent experience after the initial walk in! Holiday Shopping Spree 2017 : the entrance for the shopping spree was the warehouse entrance, which was not well set-up and a little cheap-looking. There were only two wines for tasting in there, and you only got to choose one or the other, and it wasn't well advertised that the rest of the wine tasting would be in the wine tasting room. When we went in there however the mood changed! We were welcomed and given great attention as we tried some very good wines! For my husband and I who are not big wine drinkers all of the wines tasted delicious, and we ended up buying a bottle of the Zinderella. The experience by the time we left was great, and we really enjoyed our time there! Just wish they have started off the shopping spree in a bit more festive manner.

The tasting room has a very fun and friendly atmosphere. This place primarily uses Hungarian oak for their wine and import some of their grapes cross country. That being said, their wine is delicious. Their red wine is really good and we are currently aging their reserve red zin. A must go if you're in the area!
