Visiting the Finger Lakes with my family for a winter vacation and this was definitely one of our favorite restaurants. Food was all delicious. Blue cheese burger was great, wife had an amazing chicken sandwich, but hands down the French onion soup was to die for. We were in the area only 4 days and we went there twice, enough said... History and atmosphere were also great.Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu, crayons and coloring menus.

Came to this place for dinner when we visited Fingerlakes for the weekend. They have great bar food. The tater totes were delicious, especially the aioli. The pretzel was very soft. My friend and I both loved our burgers! Very reasonable price and the service was very good. They told us that they might be a little slow but it didn’t feel that slow at all. One of our friends needed his chicken sandwich in a different way and they accommodated the request very well.

We were in the area for a day trip and decided to give this place a try based on the good reviews online and it did not disappoint. The service and food both were top notch. We called for the angus burger with fries and onion rings. Loved the onion rings. Also ordered their Arnold Palmer which was fantastic. Finished off with an apple pie which was superb. Enjoyed a few dart games. Very good burgers.

We stayed at one of the inns in Aurora NY, very small town with limited food options.Fargo Bar & Grill was great for a late dinnerMenu is a bar pub style with plenty of beer on tap, most from local brewers.The building has an old-world charm with its fire place in the dinning room to its wood panel walls. They have outdoor seating and a pool table in the bar area.Friday and Saturday they are open till 11pmThey offer a late night food menu after 10pm with you basic pub foodChicken tenders,fries, notcho's pretzelsVegetarian options: They offer a black bean burger

First time here. Nice young gentleman was waiting outside at the top of the stairs by the Entrance to the restaurant. Walked and seated on the back patio and he was very polite. Here's where it gets a little set back. The waitress/ gentleman failed to set the table with food utensils as well as napkins. The waitress was probably new but hey, learning experience. Drinks (Water) were served before taking our order but did not receive any straws, okay maybe she forgot them. Ordered an alcoholic beverage (The Berry Patch) it was yummy but for the size of the drink; it was Not worth $8. The Griiled Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries and pickle was really good. The garden salad was alright for the portion. The Lemon Shots were tasty yet strong. The Tropical Jello Shots, not my cup of tea unless you like Coconut. Loaded Tater-Tots were yummy towards the outside yet becoming soggy once towards the center due to all the bacon and cheese Smothering the center. Came with a side of white sauce that gave it the extra zing it needed. The Burger-American with a side of fries a pickle was yummy and filling. The meat was cooked perfectly. The Pulled Pork Melt with fries and a pickle was too shredded (Pork) even though the sandwich contained pineapple slaw. Lastly, received check and when it came time to sign there was no pen to use. Luckily I always make sure to pack one just incase. Drinks (Soft) were Not Included with the Sandwiches and Fries. Cute place and the food is the best. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. The bread is amazing, like a really good roll from a family holiday. It’s toasted perfectly and the chicken was good without being too spicy. The sweet potato fries are so perfectly done. Service is great and it’s family friendly.

My wife and I randomly came across this restaurant and we both absolutely loved it! There are plenty of cold drinks to choose from. The dishes were creative and original yet familiar and the ambiance was half old timey nautical, half modern. Staff seemed a little frazzled, a table of 4 next to us ordered food well before we did yet our food showed up about 10 minutes before theirs did. They seemed fine and content since they had drinks to tide them over but it was strange nonetheless. Overall the food and the atmosphere was terrific.

They have good food at good prices. They also offer a wide selection of beers on tap. We had the fargo burger, the reuben sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. All of the food was hot and tasty. The portions were generous and the service was great. We had a lemon berry pie that was absolutely delicious, it was definitely the highlight of our visit.

Never having eaten here we didn’t know what to expect… The food is delicious. The chefs are very creative in creating delicious soups sandwiches delicious entrées. We were not Disappointed by anything we ate. Customer service was excellent. Our server did an excellent job. The staff is very friendly. And we will plan to go back there again if we are in the area.

The burgers were big and I heard very good. My pasta bake not so much. There was no sauce, supposedly melted provolone cheese on top, well in description only. . Two small very well baked pieces of cheese. The chicken in the dish was dry. They said the cherry tomatoes were charred, well one of the three was. Not worth $14.95. The service was slow but during these times that's expected, however, two of the people at our table of five didn't get their full order and the waiter never came back to ask how our food was. The times in between his visits to our table were very long. We were all glad that we got a glass of water when we sat down because the waiter didn't come back to check for refills on drinks. No interest in going back anytime soon. Please note, prior to Covid I had four very positive experiences and meals at this establishment.

Always delicious and super friendly staff! First come first serve during these COVID times, sat inside (an odd treat for the NYC gal) and am please to report they are adhering to all COVID policies. My and my Mom's BLTs were out of this world, think they make their own bread; the pulled pork sandwhich was greatly enjoyed by my Dad! Cannot wait to be upstate again to return!!

What a great local tavern! Ruben was outstanding, corn chowder was amazing! My wife had the kale Caesar salad with shrimp which was excellent.Make it a stop when you come through!

I try and visit this place at least once a summer. It's right down the road from our camp and a great place for a bite to eat. They have a great selection of beers and the food is amazing. The sweet potato fries are so good. The bathroom also has chalkboard paint so you can draw on the walls. Great staff and quick service.

Been going to Fargo for many years since before the remodel even. I always have a quality meal and have never been unhappy with the service or atmosphere. Since the remodel Fargo also is offering a wider variety of menu items and expanded outdoor seating which is great but also they left the bar area largely the same so if you're just looking for a casual quick bite to eat it's great for that as well!

Really nice little place. Had a friendly feeling about it.Ordered a nice flight of beers, and I wish more places did this, but they were marked so you know what is what.Went with the Cuban Reuben and it was a solid sandwich. They could really take it over the top of the hoagie roll was rye and if it was pressed to give it a little extra crispness to the bread. Really good as it, just think it would go next level with that.Also ordered a side of roasted beets and they were delicious. They must be grilled at some point because they had that hint of grilled smokiness about them.All in all, an excellent meal. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Saw families here, not a typical bar
