The store has a lot of good pet equipment and food. The dog treat selection is great! The only downside is that I wanted to get my dog’s nails clipped and they don’t currently have any groomers available.

I love the large selection of pet items. But, a total hit and miss on the grooming side for getting my puppies nails trimmed and buffed. I have taken my puppy there a total of 5 times so far and had 4 different individuals perform the services. Out of those 5 times only 3 times did I walk away satisfied with how my puppies nails were done. The other 2 times, her nails were either not cut short enough, so they were still very long or they were completely missed and not trimmed at all.

Groomer Leah is amazing and so gentle with my puppy. I put all trust that when I go pick her up, she smells amazing and nails look stunning. Great work!!

I just went to buy wipes for my pets skin .I don't use or buy food from Petco. I make my own pet food .and I use organic human product to care for them .oils,shampoos, conditioner,I make it all I just go for things I can't make or don't have time .other than that Petco is a beautiful store to visit with friends and family. To much chemicals in the food and products.

I stopped in for a dog harness for Tucker. I asked if it was possible for someone to trim him up. Cassie offered to fit him in for me. She is the best. I went to get him and he looks awesome! Then she was able to trim Colby’s nails for me…. and he let her! Thank you so much Cassie!

Just had a great curb pickup experience with Petco. Ordered and paid on line, recd email same day that order was ready, called store when I arrived that day and order was quickly carried out to my trunk by a pleasant employee. Can’t ask for better!

Pet store in Cayuga County, New York 1622 Clark Street Rd, Auburn, NY 13021 Petco is always an amazing place to grab pet food fir the dog, cat, snake, and other animals whenever I do go I like to look at the new fish or Different types of reptiles I really do like looking at all the different animals they provide and the staff is always knowledgeable About what you need to get and how take care of whatever new friend you take home

I went to find a small cat tree, however they didn't have what I was looking for. They DID have a lovely tall, sturdy scratching post, with no price on it, and in the wrong place. The cashier told me what the actual price was, so I declined. She then told me what the online price was, matched it, and I took it home. Amazing CSR skills, thinking on her feet, she's a credit to the store.

Had two dogs groomed and they did a good job. It depends upon who you get, one was pretty grumpy. Had a 830 am appointment and no one told me they would be closed and you had to wait till they unlocked for you.

I felt like I was being pick pocketed! I paid $53.00 for bath and nails for my 8lb short hair. This was followed by a request to tip and donate money. I'm very tired of this type of retail which I will no longer support. The price was substantial and not a good value.Retailers need to stop asking for donations or they should be required to match all donations, (that would put an end to it)! I just ordered high quality dremel bits ONLINE to do my dogs nails. Now I will purchase all my pet supplies from Chewy or other online discount retailers and save.

I took my dog, Karma, to get her nails cut and her teeth brushed. The groomers there are wonderful, they are always so good to her giving her lot's of kisses. We both are always happy after our visit.

Overall good experiences here. Have had mixed results with the online ordering. Sometimes it's great, other times (at least twice) their PDAs never notified them of my order, and after 20 minutes of waiting, I went into the store for my items. Again, overall very good store, very friendly staff.

Cassie is always kind and patient with my pets. My dogs come home happy!! She takes great care with all of our dogs. We couldn’t be happier with the grooming. They all look beautiful and happy when I pick them up!

Over priced. We already bought things for our new puppy and then on the way out someone handed us a pamphlet with some coupons "for your new puppy".... Went back next day returned everything and got everything at Wal-Mart just as cute half the price!

Took my 1 year old dog there a couple of months ago for a grooming, and she looked awful when they were done, and they said she was awful, and they would not groom her ever again and said she needs to be on meds for grooming.Took her to another groomer after that, without any meds, at the groomers request and she said she was no problem whatsoever. Dogs can sense people's feelings toward them. I have not been back to the Auburn store since and never will.

My son has wanted a pet for so long. The store associate was very kind and helpful while we were choosing the perfect additions to our family. He helped us with the whole process, from start to finish. We are already in love with our new parakeets, and look forward to enhancing their lives in the future with more Petco products. It's cold out and my dog Gino needed a new jacket and some boots. The store employee fitted him with boots and was so nice and patient with Gino. A great help and assesst to Petco!!

A vast majority of items do not have prices(ie, collars, bones in bins and sale items & more). Check out in general is VERY slow, even for just a few simple items. The store is constantly cluttered with merchandise in beat up boxes.

They have most of your pet's needs. Good collection of healthy pet food. The one thing lacking is there selection of collars and leashes, and they are a little more pricey than some places in town, but there in a convenient location for me, and they do over deals and price match.

Great service! Employee on the phone was very nice and checked stock twice for us. The atmosphere was inviting and many employees were happy to help us. They handled out new pet with care and briefed us about what he needed... they obviously care very much for the animals in their care.
