Customer service is not what it used to be. Pharmacy is slow and the employees are not as friendly as they were in the past.Check out in the front of the store is pointless I might as well check myself out. All the cashier does is scan my items and I pay and bag my own items. No offer to help and I take my time because I only have total use of one hand. Cashiers only a few months ago would bag my purchase without hesitation. The new ones just stand and watch me bag my things while the line is waiting behind me.

My 19 year old daughter, who has been dreadfully ill for 6 weeks, had emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder last night. Her prescription for Percocet was accidentally sent by the hospital to Wegmans Pharmacy instead of here, where our family gets its prescriptions since the closing of Rite-Aid. When she called Kinney’s Pharmacy to correct the situation this morning, your female pharmacist at this location was nasty, impatient, and treated her like a drug seeker. This same pharmacy had no problem handling this exact issue for my daughter when her prescription for Tramadol, prescribed while she was awaiting her diagnosis, was ALSO accidentally sent by the same hospital to Wegman’s Pharmacy less than 2 weeks earlier. Don’t give me any of that “controlled substances” malarkey in your response, either. Tramadol is a controlled substance same as Percocet. If you did it for one, you can do it for another. Read the other reviews on this page about this SAME employee! You have someone employed that not only doesn’t want to do her job, but has all the warmth and compassion of a cold bed pan full of loose stool. Despicable! We will be taking our family’s business elsewhere as soon as possible.

Each time I have had to pickup my children's, husband's, or even my prescriptions they are not ready and they are always sent over in the morning and I give them the whole day and pick them up after dinner. UNBELIEVABLE. The last 2 times they have tried to say our insurance doesn't cover our prescriptions and after 15 minutes of back and forth they finally go into their computer and MAGICALLY its covered. This is getting ridiculous.

Pharmacist I spoke to, a woman, was very short, huffed with each question I asked and overall seemed very annoyed.. which I get, working in a retail setting but don't take your bad mood out on random people who did nothing to you.

I have been using Kinney Pharmacy for many years , the Elbridge location as a kid, both Weedsport and Cato as an Adult. I moved to Auburn in October and I normally am not one to complain. BUT, this place is off the hook, I just can't and won't. The only positive is the delivery driver and there is one kind woman in the pharmacy that recently relocated back from Philly. Other than that, total incompetence. My meds are weekly. They NEVER, have my meds, ever. You would think by now. Repeatedly, i wait, days and days. They have made it so my meds are on different days now. I don't know about ya'll, but if I have to pick them up, I like to make one walk. I stayed at my sisters 2 weekends ago and had my meds switched to Kinneys Weedsport location. I haven't lived there since 2019. My Doc sent them at 845am. By 1014am, 1 hour and 15 mins after opening, THEY called ME, saying my Prescriptions were ALL filled AND they were coming to deliver. Now, That's customer service. A couple of weeks ago, my doctor sent my script on Monday for a Thursday fill. It was filled on Saturday. Saturday!! There phone was out of order one day, I still walked down, in cold and snowy weather, only to be told because One medication was not on hand, NOTHING had been filled. Now I will not get into details of the medications that I take, but a would think a pharmacists knows one should not miss a dose of most meds, right? I have to call and ask for delivery. I've been told No for delivery. The last straw, I called for delivery and the girl whom answered in pharmacy took great pleasure in telling me that I would no longer receive delivery because I wasn't home the last 3 times. Correct me if wrong, I do believe 3X is a bit of exaggeration? I told her, I was home, I just did not answer. Ofcourse she took great pleasure in repeating herself again, so I didn't bother to explain that my reasoning for not answering unknown phone numbers is because I fled to Auburn with the shirt on my back because of an abusive husband. It hadn't happen until recent because I was in shelter and that was a safe phone.The driver's number is saved now but oh well. I'll pick up my meds and go to Rite Aid.

This pharmacy is horrible. They will sit at the window and pretend not to see you, there is always an issue with our monthly prescriptions not being billed correctly then they give such a nasty attitude when asked to correct it. The entire vibe of the pharmacy staff is that you’re bothering them.

My prescriptions have been with this pharmacy for as long as I can remember. When I moved about seven years ago, I kept my prescriptions here, even though it was out of the way and in a section of town I have no reason to visit, such was my loyalty. That ends now.The past several years have been absolutely unbearable. My prescriptions (there are several) are never lined up, and even when they've promised to line them up, they're not. This causes far more frequent trips than necessary. They've kept me waiting hours for prescriptions, with no explanation and no apologies.I recently found that they simply decided not to bill my insurance company for one of my prescriptions, and I was overcharged about $40 in two separate transactions. They've never offered an explanation, nor a real apology. They've never asked what they could do to make it right, and they've only refunded half of what they overcharged, because we only caught one of the errors while looking over the past year's charges -- and the last transaction was over 90 days old. Their response was to tell us it's our responsibility to double check their work and make sure we're being charged properly.I'm now in the process of moving my prescriptions to a new pharmacy, and I'll never return to Kinney. The friendly, knowledgeable and polite staff I once looked forward to seeing has been replaced with incompetent, rude, and dim-witted employees who don't seem to care about their jobs or the customers they serve.Kinney would do well to remember it's running a pharmacy, not an ice cream shop. Diligence, courtesy, attention to detail are essential when dealing with the health and wellbeing of your customers. Kinney has lost sight of that, and they've lost my business.

How do you like repeat visits to the pharmacy because the order isn't ready, even when they've called to say it is? If you LOVE that, then this is the pharmacy for you!If, like me, you * don't * enjoy waiting 10 minutes (twice) in a pharmacy drive through only to discover that they STILL don't have your baby's prednisone ready even though it was called in 5 hours earlier, then perhaps you should try a different pharmacy.

Absolute horrible service. I sat there for an hour and a half waiting for the pharmacist to check on a prescription that my doctor said she sent there. After an hour and a half I found out it had been filled at another Kinney Drugs. Totally unacceptable service. You would be better off steering clear of there.

I wouldn't even give them one star, I haven't had one good experience there yet. They never have mine or my kids prescriptions, always have to wait, or even wait till the next day for antibiotics for a 2 yr old. This is the second time they haven't had antibiotics on hand or whatever their hold up is. I'll be taking my business elsewhere

Worst pharmacy in Auburn. seldom has prescriptions ready or in stock. Tell you it will be reordered and in on a date and time and it is not. has happened to my family more than 4 times in the last month. Go elsewhere

Had to pick up prescriptions for both kids, one sent the day before and one sent an hour and a half before. Neither were ready. The girl told me it'd be about 5 minutes, waited 20. With both kids.
