Took my doodle here after a poor experience at another Astoria groomer. Pamela did an amazing job with my doodle. Listened to each of my concerns, and truly gave her the cut of a life time. Staff were super friendly and service went beyond expectations. All I can say is blown away and Sophie will definitely be returning for grooming and doggy daycare!! If you need a groomer disco paws is the place to go!

We love their service and their staff are accommodating and very nice. We’ve been taking our pup here since 2022. We feel at peace leaving our fur baby with them whenever we go out for the day or overnight. We know she’s going to be taken care of. Our pup comes home tired from all the interactive plays with other dogs in the day care. It’s a great way for her to develop her socialization skills as well. I also love that we can monitor her activities through the web cam or check on her from time to time whenever we miss her.

My fur babys went to disco paws in Astoria for the first time and right when I walk in the door we felt so welcoming they truly are amazing at what they do thank you for taking care of princess & charity during their grooming they absolutely look beautiful exactly how I wanted it this will be their forever grooming place.Princess & charity said I woof you see you in a couple months❤️🐶🐶🐾🐾

Took a six week class for leash training for my 19 month old Dog. She has a lot of Anxiety and is very playful. The class taught me how to keep her by my side as much as possible. She now knows how to sit and stay 2,2 seconds. ☺️ we still have some work to do with the walking along side of me and not trying to lead the way, but at least I have more sense of working with her. Trainers have a lot of patience and give you a lot of confidence to train your fur baby to your commands. I would recommend Disco Paws if you want to train your fur baby . Considering also taking behavior and Agility classes soon in the future. 👍 Thank you for having us Disco Paws.

My goldendoodle has been attending Disco Paws for over 4 years. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating, facilities are nice and clean, services are reasonably priced. Highly recommend Pam for grooming - Oakley loves her and she always does an amazing job. 10/10 experience for you & your pup!

This was my first time leaving Sir D'Artagnan anywhere. He was boarded for 3 days and 3 nights. My furby absolutely LOVED this place. He's a 9 month old puppy with all the puppy behavior but when he came home he seemed more calm, and some of his "bad" behaviors were gone🤔. I don't know whether it was the staff or the other dogs but someone taught him something while he was there. I think he might need to visit them on a regular basis 😂.

We've used Disco Paws off and on since we got our dog this past year. Mostly for the overnight boarding when we go on vacation. I love the daily reports and updates on feeding. I also love the live camera feeds. It's reassuring to be able to see my dog while in care. At least during business hours. The other camera for the Disco Lounge hasn't worked since I started using Disco Paws. Overall this is a place I can trust to care for my dog when I need them.

Our dog adores this place--has ever since first visited at 4 months old. We've done puppy training, daycare, and boarding with them, and all experiences have been very positive. The staff know and love our dog; we've even said hi out on the street. Recommend DiscoPaws to everyone we meet on our walks! <3

I just wanted to thank Pamela for being Zeus’ groomer for the past 7 months. After trying many places in queens I found the best one. She’s so caring and patient with Zeus, she understands what he likes and what he doesn’t like. I always go for the full grooming session, bath, haircut, nails and blow dry. He always comes out smelling delicious.

My pup gets anxiety going to the groomer because of bad past experiences. I was able to speak with the thoughtful staff at Disco Paws about this and they made me feel reassured even before I brought my dog in for his first salon session. We get the Farrah Pawcett each time and Sami is the groomer I love working with. I appreciate how accommodating and understanding everyone at DP is. They don’t make you feel like a crazy pet owner for expressing your wants or concerns regarding your fur baby. We have been back three times - all to see the fabulous Sami - and are so happy and grateful to have found a groomer that works WITH us. Prices fall right in the typical range for NYC ($60-80). I would say that the level of professionalism and care taken is well worth the price. They have an automated booking and notification system too which streamlines the communication. You receive text message alerts when your pup is “checked in” to the salon and then again when he is ready for pickup. Can’t recommend Disco Paws enough!

This review is purely based on my experience with the management and owner, although it has to do with my grooming experience, it has nothing to do with the groomer. She truly is incredible (Dyana)!I had a grooming appointment today for my son Shelby, I dropped him off around 10:30. It normally takes them no longer than 3 hours to groom my dog, mind you I have been to this establishment a couple of times for the same services.I received a call from the receptionist letting me know I had a balance of $50, which was strange because I had already pre paid for the grooming ( $150 + $50 tip ) I go ahead and ask them what the extra charge was , and they let me know they increased the price and should of been charging me a different price but just “forgot” to let me know, how is that my fault or my issue ? I was charged $150 every other time I used the same groomer.  I Come in and talk to them about it , and I figured by dog was done but no. It’s now 5 hours and my dog is not done.I tell my partner who is on the pick up notes to get our son and get the heck out of there and never look back. It’s now almost 7 hours and he’s still not done. Amanda accuses my partner of being aggressive and yelling, if anyone knows him you know this is not him. He wanted our son back and was concerned. Finally they text me 20 mins later to say he’s ready. He was exhausted, had not gone to the bathroom since we picked him up and assuming no water as he drank his whole bowl when he arrived home.I’m beyond outraged that one they attempted to charge me more randomly and that when we asked for our dog they kicked us out, as a small business you would think they would treat and care about your dogs as you do but it’s just another money hungry business.

I have heard nothing but great things about Disco Paws. Finally used them to take care of my Dog Tyson and we both had the best experience ever. They have 24hr live cameras so you can watch your pet and you get updated reports with photos everyday :) He got alot of attention and playtime. They put every nervous Pet parent and pet at ease with their attention to detail and great service. 🐶💙 Tyson Came Home Happy, Smelling & Looking Great!!

We brought our dog there for a bath and a nail trim. He was there 6 hrs and they shaved him when they weren’t supposed to. He was already a short haired dog. Also they were very rude, and the manager refuses to answer the phone or call back. All they did for me was not charge me. The handler didn’t even know the groomers name and they work together. He supposedly only worked there about two weeks. Clearly doesn’t know what he is doing. I called him retarted because he is retarted. How are you a groomer and don’t know not to shave a double layered dog. Even if there was a miscommunication you should have made sure what you were doing before it.Before and after.

I can’t say enough about Disco Paws! We got our puppy in June and in early July we introduced him to his first grooming to get comfortable. Pamela took such great care of him. She really loves and cares about her clients. She always gives us the best advice on how to make each session more easier on our pup and what she thinks is best grooming wise based on his breed as well as him as an individual. We love Pamela!As for daycare, our pup absolutely LOVES it ! He RUNS to daycare from our apartment and he can’t pass the store on walks without begging to go inside just to say hi to the staff. It’s a struggle to get him to leave because he loves it so much. The staff gets just as excited to see him as he does and they really make us feel like he is so loved as if he is their own. They upload pictures and a report after every service. They are so kind and accommodating and love every single one of their furry clients!! Russet loves his Steinway Disco Paws staff❤️

You can find some snug and fashionable sweaters for your dog, but this place is pretty expensive. I guess this is more of a doggy day care than a pet retail store

Great experience! The front desk staff was super sweet and the groomer was professional and even managed to brush my dogs teeth, which no one has ever managed to do before! Very impressed, will definitely be using their services again :)

I stopped in the shop on my way to dinner with a friend and found the staff so friendly and helpful. My dog, who is very picky, LOVED the treat I got for her (see pic), which was a relief as she often turns down treats! A really cute selection of toys as well. Will definitely be stopping by on occasion now.

My 8-month old Beagle loves Disco Paws, and I do too! The staff is friendly and attentive. We always feel welcome when we arrive. I'm so thankful that I can always rely on Disco Paws to give my puppy an experience she enjoys while I'm working. Plus, she always comes home exhausted from playing with other dogs all day. It's a great relief to me after a long day.I appreciate that I can check on my girl during the day using the live camera feature. I also LOVE reading her Disco Report and seeing the pictures from the day. I highly recommend bringing your pet to Disco Paws - you won't regret it!

Great place to board your dog. Clean, well supervised and staffed 24/7. They are very good at following any special instructions you many have. It's clear that the people who work here love dogs.
