I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Lovisa. She is not only an excellent doctor with up-to-date knowledge of new methods, research, and medicine, but she is also very compassionate. In this age of veterinary practices being taken over by big corporates, it's so nice to still have doctors like Dr. Lovisa who takes the time to personally connect with her patients and genuinely care about the animals.Multiple times she offered treatment, and recommended specialized diet based on newest research which resulted in significant improvement in my dogs' quality of life.During an emergency, I was able to reach her and ask for advice. She was the only one I trusted with my dogs and as always, she came through for us. Even afterwards, she took the time to write me few emails and even a personal note after the passing of one of my dogs. Her assurance and kind words meant the world for me, and my family.I highly recommend this practice but especially Dr. Lovisa.

New to the area and so relieved to find this fantastic vet. We’ve brought both our dog and cat in and receive such attentive, empathetic, thorough care each time. It was easy to call and get an appointment for the following week. The vet even continued to research food options for our senior cat and emailed us with solutions. Caring....precise....care with great follow up. The office staff went to great efforts to schedule my dog Freddie, even though we were new clients. They called me within minutes of a cancellation, so my dog could be seen. Dr. Fitzgerald was caring and is a good listener. She is responsible for making significant inroads in terms of bringing my16 dog back having 'quality of life'. Yes! Ardsley Vet Associates is an amazing veterinary place. I just had my elderly dog in for a first time visit there with Dr Carril. She was so kind gentle and caring with me and my dog. She unfortunately had to give me some upsetting news but was so helpful and understanding with me. I highly recommend her, I truly think the world of her.Also, I want to add that the staff there is just wonderful. They are so warm and friendly. All of the staff, from the front desk personnel to the vet techs to the doctors, are very patient and understanding of my Troy’s unique personality. They are also very patient with me as I ask a lot of questions. The doctors explain things clearly in layman’s terms and want to make sure that I understand everything they’re telling me. UPDATE Jan. 2024: I’m very disappointed to share that I’ve changed my rating for Ardsley Vets from five to three stars. Since the beloved Dr. Zuckerman retired, we developed great relationships with Drs. Warner and Fitzgerald. In very short order, both left Ardsley Vets and we found ourselves not connecting with the remaining veterinary staff. There seems to be a turnover issue and there have even been days when the office closed due to no vets on staff at all causing last minute cancellation of our appointment. Something has gone awry and I’ve heard from internal folks that it’s just not the same. So, we have moved on to seek service elsewhere. :(I routinely recommend Ardsley Veterinary Associates. We have put our pets' care in several of the veterinarians, namely Dr. Zuckerman and moving forward after he leaves, we plan to engage Dr. Warner on a routine basis. We appreciate the no-nonsense approach to our pets' care that takes in to consideration our pets' best interest, the dynamics of all of our pets, our household, and what we also believe is in our pets' best interest. We feel we have an outstanding relationship with our vets in Ardsley.

De.Lovisa is a wonderful Veterinarian. She is so good with my dog Flash. She takes her time and explains to us what Flash is having done, like vaccine and blood work. She ask alot of questions in regards to Flash's daily lifestyle to see if anything is going on with his health.

We’ve been taking our boy to Ardsley Vets for 9 years now. Dr. Zuckerman has been our provider for all 9 years and we couldn’t have asked for a more caring, knowledgeable, empathetic, and an all around great person. He is always willing to go the extra mile for all his patients. We are heartbroken that Dr. Z is retiring but wish him and his family all the very best. We of course will still be bringing our Doberman to Ardsley Vet as we have all the confidence that Dr. Zs team will take great care of our boy. The Ardsley Vets practice is great. The whole team is responsive, thorough, professional and truly cares about all pets. They were especially caring and helpful in squeezing our dog in when she hurt herself on a recent Saturday and we didn't know what was wrong. I've been bringing my rescue dog here for routine check-ups for a couple of years. Recently, he suddenly couldn't walk and declined very quickly overnight. Ardsley Vets fit me in within the same day (within a few hours) and Dr. Lovisa was able to accurately diagnose him and get him started on medication in less than 24 hours. In addition to being a great vet, I also never felt like any unnecessary tests were being pushed to make money, which I know can happen at a lot of places. Highly recommend. Staff response time is always quick which I also really appreciate. You can call and speak directly to someone without having an answering service.

We bring all of our animals here - I appreciate the honesty from the Vets in regards to potential treatments/meds as far as cost and what isn't really necessary. The techs and desk staff are incredibly friendly. My go-to is Dr. Zuckerman, but he is retiring. My mom and brother use Dr. Lovisa - they're all great though :)

This Vet Association was perfectly fine with putting down a healthy two year old, absolutely rehabilitatable dog (a product of it's environment). They did this knowing that people were in the wings willing to help the dog. Disgraceful and UNETHICAL. This Vet should get NO STARS
