Small place with personal service. Very nice and carry everything lumber and hardware and construction you can imagine. Bought the supplies for my metal roof there. They delivered everything I ordered for $40 and brought it to my rather remote cottage up 700 ft on a very rough road on time.

Always helpful and willing to the time to locate what you need. if not in the store then through suppliers they can order it from. Prices are often even better than Value store. Have been doing business there for many years and always happy with products and their knowledgeable service.

I can't say how their prices are compared to other area lumber yards because I didn't price shop for the wood I purchased.I probably won't go back simply because of the distance, I just happened to be in Arcade that day and wanted to get a project at home started that day.

Doug and the gang at Arcade Lumber are the best because of their personalized service. Within 20 minute drive of Arcade, there are at least 5 lumber and hardware stores including a Lowe's, none of them give the level of service that is the hallmark of Arcade Lumber. Doug has always gone out of his way to give you what you want and sometimes has saved me money by explaining better less expensive options for doing what I was trying to do and sometimes he spent the time explaining why what I was thinking wouldn't work because I had not figured everything out correctly. He would then take the time to show me what I needed to do to get the job done right while saving me money and time. Arcade Lumber is always my first choice when I'm doing home repairs.
