This is an interesting place to take your kids. We really enjoyed the trail, frog pond and all of the examples of wild life in our area. Ted the tortoise was also awesome. We were on a field trip so we didn't really get a chance to check out the gift shop but they had a little one of those too. We are hoping to go back as a family in the summer.

This gem in the hills is perfect for families with small children. Check out Ted the Tortoise, the children's hikes, flowers, and animal exhibits. Looking for a quick hike to escape for an hour? Check out the waterfalls. Beautiful place and friendly staff.

We tried both Apalachin Marsh and Brick Pond trails and unfortunately had to turn back after a very short walk since the paths are completely flooded. Neither seems to be maintained; the paths were eroded, bridges knocked down, and garbage was everywhere. Very disappointed. Hopefully they get cleaned up soon.

Great place to enjoy nature. Well-maintained hiking trails. Managed by friendly people, and has great programs for kids too. FYI- No dogs allowed.
