I’ve always loved Target. Tonight the woman at a register changed my experience. I had a nice experience walking around shopping & then needed to go through a register because I had more than 10 items. The new signs say self checkout is for 10> items now. The woman jammed 3 bags to the top & when I asked for another bag she told me no “it’s FINE.” The bags ripped. I guess if shopping at Target I will have to bring my own bags now.She had several unfriendly things to say & hid her name tag “for her safety”? The only thing I’d said nicely was the bags were too heavy & ripping.Not Great Target.

I had to find a specific character shirt and was going crazy searching… I ran into an employee named Kayla who helped me with no hesitation. She was busy on a task yet still stopped what she was doing & went all the way to the back just to get me what I needed because it was a new shipment that hadn't been placed on the shelves yet. Thank you very much for making my shopping experience less frustrating and doing so with a smile!

Stopped in on a busy Saturday and heard the manager calling for register coverage. So polite to the employee, "Would you mind covering register 11? Thank you" Employee in return was so friendly with an "Of course!" She was very pleasant during my checkout. Such a good experience!

Please hire some cashiers. It is unacceptable to have ZERO cashiers available when the self checkout line wraps around to cosmetics. People run in quick on their lunch break from work, not everyone has time to stand in line because a store is improperly staffed. Next time I'll go to price chopper.

Horrible customer service. I don't know who is hiring these people but the person who is needs to be either retrained or let go. The past 3 times I've been to the Amsterdam NY location and it's full of arrogant, rude employees who should NEVER be working on a customer service oriented atmosphere.Do yourself a favor, travel the extra miles and go to Scotia NY target or Saratoga springs target. MUCH better customer service and 100% friendlier employees.

The young lady whose name is Meghan is really rude & disrespectful! She needs training in customer service! She also has no respect for her manager. It’s ok to have a bad day but when you’re taking it out on a customer you need to stay home. I was told by some of her co workers that she is that way all the time. That makes me wonder why she is still there?! I never want someone to lose their job but when you’re acting like you run the show & don’t have courtesy for people around you there’s a problem! She yelled at me in the store in-front of her manager and other customers. I remained calmed as I responded! She needs to be in a factory or go work on her personal issues in order to be a better person.

I came to this target for one item, but one cashier seemed to brighten up my whole experience. Lesli really made sure that I was well taken care of, and she was really excited to complete my transaction. Most stores you go to have cashiers that look like they don’t want to be there but Lesli was helpful, kind and a pleasure to meet.

We experienced such a rude lady today when we asked where all the carts were. And my mom told her thank you for getting the job done by getting more carts and she gave a snotty comment. Please train your staff to be nicer to customersShe was horrible

Target has a very nice collection of kids clothes, and men's too. Also they feature good sale prices for everyone and their inventory is good quality. If by some chance I have to return or exchange something I never have a problem.

This target is amazing! Employees are always helpful and eager to lend a hand! Great sales! Food is always fresh, the Starbucks is another story...all the Starbucks employees are friendly and efficient except for a tall red haired girl with glasses and a short curly haired girl with glasses very nasty and rude. Otherwise this target location is in great shape with an amazing layout and great options to choose from!

Has a decent selection in items. However wait times are terrible. If you are there to pick up groceries, I wouldnt bother.They do not offer many brands, or items. Great for grabbing some quick items. To check out takes way too long. Never enough staff on register no matter when you go. If you have a return, grab what you want to exchange it for, or have the card you used to purchase it available otherwise it takes too long and you get a gift card.

The Target in Amsterdam, NY is always so clean. The employees are nice and the wait for a cashier/self checkout is very short most of the time. They almost always have what I am looking for. Father in the CVS in Target is always so helpful and friendly.

Once I figured out where I needed to click and add my "drive up" purchases on the app the process was easy. When my order was ready i received a text message. Easy and fast. I would recommend using the "drive up"

Terrible customer service. This was always the place to go if you wanted quality service but lately the customer service desk is full of disrespectful employees. Isaac and Crystal being the worst.

I would like to share what WONDERFUL people you employ! I am walking disabled and they treat me with the respect that I still deserve, lending a hand IF I need it. Very knowledgeable and can count change! All this and more can only be found in your store and it is very much appreciated!

This target location is pretty big and well organised. You can find anything you could ever need and the employees are very helpful and mostly friendly. That being said however, they need to do better at the registers. No one should have to wait more than 20 minutes at checkout. Three stars for that.
