Although this occurred years ago, I don't believe that there has been any change in the design of the Saratoga Horseworks flysheet. The front chest straps do not hold tight, they slip. They loosened enough that when my horse went to nip at a fly on her chest, her bottom jaw got caught under the strap... feeling caught, she backed up into a fence and then feeling trapped, she reared over backwards, crashing through the fence. When I contacted Saratoga Horse Works, they were unconcerned and advised me that I could double the chest straps through the buckles. When I mentioned that this was not listed in any of the literature included with the blanket, again, there was a lack of concern. I sent the damaged fly sheet back to the company, asking to be reimbursed, as the fly sheet was defective, dangerous and now damaged and useless. Never received any response. I had contacted the president of the company directly, Michael Libertucci. I would not recommend this company, nor their products.

I love the Saratoga Summer Turnout fly sheets! This time I bought the new Plus version for two horses that are extremely sensitive to flies. The Oasis layer on the top also gives more UV protection. One pony loves his; the other had an issue with the tail flap. He has a very active tail that pushed the tail flap to the side making the entire sheet hang to one side. I cut the tail flap off and now it works great. I would give 5 stars if they would make the tail flap optional or removable (velcro.)

I wanted a custom dress sheet with embroidery, and wasn't sure which would be best. Saratoga customer service helped me pick the correct sheet, and then made sure I was happy with the font and embroidery before they completed the sheet. I am so happy with the result and would highly recommend them.

I purchased a dog cooling vest that was highly recommended by my dog trainer. The first coat that shipped out was too large for my pup but the customer service team was quick to respond and recommend a new size. They processed the exchange quickly and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I have had horses for over 50 years and have used a lot of fly sheets. Many different brands and many failures and a lot of wasted money. I have used saratoga fly sheets on my horses for the last several years and, much to my surprise and delight, have found them to be the absolute best. They are very light weight, yet very durable. Recently I wanted one for my pony but they did not make one in her size. However, when I contacted the company I was advised that they would make one in her size..64. It arrived last week and is a perfect fit and the pony loves it. I could not ask for more. Wonderful company, great product.

Over the years, I ave purchased dog cool coats and two cool crate covers in size regular....I have used the crate covers for the back gate of my Dodge Caravan to cut the sun but allow air flow....I recently received a large cool crate cover to allow me more coverage of my van....Every item I have bought has been a quality product with wonderful durability! Thank you for these great cool options!

I am sadly disappointed to be writing this review. My breed organization decided to use Horseworks to have an award cooler made for my mare’s hall of fame induction. This cooler was a signature hawthorn, which is a $600 wool cooler. In the past there have been issues with delays and poor communication but I was hopeful that had been resolved at this point and I was happy to support a local business. Unfortunately these issues had not been resolved, I was told 1 to 2 weeks for the cooler to ship out when I placed the order on October 25. After clarifying customization options it was radio silent, unless I checked in several weeks later. I was repeatedly given completion time frames that were not met. After several emails and a rapidly approaching deadline, I offered to pick the blanket up from them to save time. I finally was able to pick the blanket up on November 30th at which point payments had timed out and it was a rigamarole trying to get a payment reprocessed through the breed organization and was an unnecessary hassle. I was also told a 15% discount would apply because of the delays and then was never applied, this works out to almost a $100 difference. When frustration was expressed a canned one sentence response was all that I received. The workmanship is beautiful, the cooler is absolutely lovely, but sadly it has clouded my mare’s hall of fame induction unnecessarily. I sincerely regret not being able to support a local business with a lovely product and will not be recommending them in the future.
