The staff of the grooming salon are true professionals. They are polite and caring. The work they perform is first class. Would not take my companion any where else. Took our Shih Tzu puppy for his first haircut with Douglas..(Amsterdam)...I cannot say enough about Douglas's knowledge, professionalism, and customer service. He taught us so much that we didn't know about this breed and I am incredibly grateful that PetSmart hired such a treasure of a person to care for these animals. We are incredibly thankful for your service. Respectfully, Quill and Family....

Had a lot to do that day, so I just wanted to go in the store, purchase the item I was looking for, and just go in and out as quickly as possible as I already knew what I was looking for before I went. When the associates saw me, she immediately asked if she could be of any help finding what I needed to get. So I told her exactly what I was looking for in detail, and her reply was "no problem"I will show you right where our jackets and sweaters are for your dog. After that, she took me right to the area I needed to be just like that. After that, she even helped me try the item I wanted to purchase on the dog. Then, all I did was go to the check out to pay for it. It was an In-N-Out deal. Just like I like it. Thank you very much.

Took my dog for a wash, hair cut and nail trimming. My dog is always SUPER anxious and acts completely out of whack around anybody. Toby from Petsmart completely overcame every obstacle I thought there could be with my dog. When I came to pick him up after his little spa day he looked AMAZING. Toby did a wonderful job, 10/10 service! 💖

A great place to get pet supplies for nearly every kind of pet there is. Make sure you check expiration dates on food or treats. Everything is a bit expensive, it's always good to try to shop during a sale or use coupons. Very nice and helpful staff! I think you can order items if there is something specific that you are looking for but can't find.

Pet smart is a convenient store, meaning that pretty much anything you will ever need is more than likely at this store. The problem is that everything is name brand and super expensive. A simple feather duster toy is so expensive ($8) that we often don't buy them. It's a piece of plastic with feathers glued to it. It's not really worth more than a dollar or two. Kitty litter here is $21+ for tidy cat, on sale for the same price as the everyday price at Walmart. At the end of the day, do your research. Sometimes, the deals at petsmart feel a little more worth it than others.

Took my pup for her first grooming & haircut. Very disappointed in the jagged uneven cut as well as it being cut way too short. It doesn't even look like she was bathed at all. No fresh smell, fur was shabby looking. Few Long hair pieces hanging off her ears. Sadly, I Don't think she will go back.

Crowded, pricey and weak inventory of bird supplies. I enjoy the vibe of the store and buy some cat things there on occasion, but I'm a value-conscious person and these guys fall short in that area. If you want fish, reptiles or small birds, they're the only game in town. The prices are indicative of this.

New store manager does not help customers with a better discount on discounted dog food that's gonna get thrown out & slashed & his face got red when i told him other employees help us out all the time with discounted dog food & he's got anger issues I miss alicia she was the best store manager ever this guy means no business at all or looks like he cares for animals At all what so ever get rid of him...

I go there for my pet cat food and litter their prices are reasonable. I also go there for my pet's health at the Banfield hospital located inside. Customer service is excellent

I used to like going there until they started getting these new people working who are literally sending customers(like me) to Bensons(which is an awesome place w/awesome pricing). This is over the price matching with crickets and feeders which cost 3 times more than everywhere else.. They offer price matching if a competitor like Bensons have cheaper stuff(crickets/feeders). However, I go there (pet smart in Amsterdam)to purchase crickets and they told me to bring a receipt from Bensons lol!! I think me and any other customers they told that to will do all their shopping there iinstead. If you're not going to Match the prices of competitors,YOU SHOULDN'T OFFER PRICE MATCHING Duhh! It's creating more problems than not. Petsmart says that they will match the price of competitors if the price is lower. Bensons crickets are 3 times lower than petsmart @ 6 cents each juuust saying!
