This rest stop was fine. It could have been cleaner though. The music in the ladies room was blasting for some reason.. The ladies room is small and there was a line of 4 people ahead of me. There was a McDonalds, an Ice Cream shop and a little gift shop.

The mcdonalds is gone. Everything at the gift shop here to eat and drink is marked up like 300%. A 12oz diet coke is almost 4 dollars. A candy bar is 5 something. Microwave sandwiches are 6 or 7 bucks and they don't even have the good ones their like those tiny jimmy Dean ones. I feel robbed. I spent 40 something dollars on like nothing. I should have put the sht back.

3 ⭐️'s for it being clean and nice cashier's.... There isn't a McDonald's anymore. So just somewhere to park and rest, stretch, get some snacks, use restroom, fuel if need be and move along.

This travel plaza sticks to the general format of the architectural and schematic "genre" of travel plazas, but with some distinctive touches, like the cherry trees in blossom out front, and the sculpture in the dining area. The facilities are modern, well organized and clean. The restaurant franchises' staff is friendly yet professional. Free wi-fi and ample parking.

Stopped at Milepost 172 on our return to Massachusetts after Christmas, 2023. Positives: The restrooms were good, we were able to get gas. Negatives: only one Applegreen store was open, with highly overpriced sandwiches ($5 for a PBJ) and $4 coffee that wasn't freshly made so I didn't try it. Our experience with rest stops coming out on the Mass. Turnpike was much better. So many signs in New York said No Restrooms.

The bathrooms are so dirty! Both male and female. I will definitely never stop here on the thruway again. The McDonald's staff were sloppy and slovenly dressed. After we saw the bathrooms which they are responsible for and seeing the way they were dressed I couldn't order food. You can represent our culture and still look good. Pass pass pass

Such a nice travel plaza! They have self serve coffee & tea & specialty NY foods for sale (like maple syrup). What a great pit stop!

Staff are nice at McDonald’s and store, but the rest rooms need to be cleaned more frequently. The ladies room had several out of order stalls, the toilet paper dispensers didn’t work in several stalls, no hooks on the doors for bag/jacket, and soap was sparse.

We were treated very well when we stopped. Had a german shepherd puppy we rescued. Staff was courteous and didn't give us a hard time bringing the puppy inside with us, as it was late at night & he was timy. The plaza was clean. Restrooms clean.

Stopped through when heading east through New York.Bathrooms were very clean, (Looked like they were just got done by the time I got there due to the wet floor signs)They have a decent gift shop and a few fast food joints on the inside. (Be prepared to pay a few more dollars for your meals in these stops)They do have a small rest area to sit and relax if need be.Gas station for those that need fuel.Enough room in the parking for both full size vehicles and people who are pulling a trailer or boat.

Top notch Rest area Truckers to the right, about 17 parking spots. Cars to The left, large parking lot with nice plaza and gas station. The pet area is close to where you pull in.

Not much to choose from during the renovations to other plaza going on.But the conditions are unacceptable right now.It's dirty, toilet paper all over the men's room floor and I'm told that the ladies room has a receptacle for sanitary pads and it's absolutely full.There is a noticable bad odor throughout the building right now.It's late on a Sunday, a little after 7pm.. but there definitely should still be someone working maintenance.If you desperately need food or a bathroom, I suggest getting off at a proper exit and hitting a store or restaurant in a town...

Absolutely disgusting. Bathrooms were so gross. Dirt, dust, toilet paper, and HAIR everywhere. Hairs on the seats and counters. Just disgusting everywhere. No paper towels. All toilets were dirty or had toilet paper in them. Not just the bathrooms either, the whole place. Trash very over flowed outside too.Just keep going 23 miles to the next one because this is disgusting.

I found this rest area to be one of the nicer ones along the the NYS thruway so far. The bathroom and dining area were exceptionally clean. The furniture in the dining area was also nice, comfortable, and contemporary.I find it less busy compared to many of the rest areas. My wife packed us lunch so I cannot speak to the service or quality of the food options. I did notice the food dining options are limited to McDonald's and Hebrew National hot dogs.

As I walked in the front glass doors I was confronted by the combined smell of McDonalds breakfast and road weary desperation.I only intended on briefly using the restroom but I ended up staying for several wonderful weeks, living amongst the people that had come for a brief respite from the road.The restrooms were clean and the staff were like family and the tap water quality was satisfactory.

Awful. The whole rest area reeked of urine. I can't believe people were actually buying/eating food here. Way below standard compared to other NYS Thruway rest areas, which are usually reliably clean and pleasant.

Stopped for a stretch and bathroom break. restrooms were well maintained. We didn't buy gas, but the price was competitive. Food, however, was less so. I'm sure we could do better off the Thruway, but you pay for convenience.

Some of this McDonald's staff are completely ignorant. How hard is it to greet people and ask them to put masks on. One of your male employees not only lacks customer service but is extremely rude. Not sure why you would hire someone with no people skills to do a job he has to have constant contact with customers. Do better McDonald's... 🙄

Clean and well lit. Plenty of services, though the night shift is pretty sparse. The pumps were covered with spiders, must have been fly from the nest week. Not many other bugs 😁 Gas prices are high on the pike, but tolerable, definitely better than Pennsylvania.
