We were at Lowe’s in Amsterdam NY this past weekend and wanted to commend one of your associates (believe his name was Joe - he was working in the hardware aisle). He offered his assistance and helped us find what we needed in the aisle. He then asked if there was anything else (which there was!) and went out of his way to help us locate another item we were in search of.Admittedly we had previously been to a competitor location (since they had a hard to find item in stock) and the customer support was lacking.We hope you can recognize this employee. It’s experiences like this that keep us coming back. Thank you!

It’s Lowe’s. Easy enough to do one stop shopping on projects. Can always find someone to help with what need, might not be first person but they will direct you to someone that does. Only photo is of causal jammie day …. I didn’t get memo ….

Bad experience at the other big box hardware store in town landed me here for the first time. Pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the free burgers for Father's Day! When I worked at a True Value I used to grill on Father's Day so ut really made my day to see that hardware stores still do that. Today, Lowes had everything I needed and it turned out cheaper than the other other store. This store is cleaner and the help is more passionate about the lumber/hardware business. Looks like I found my new place in Amsterdam. Check them out.

Respectfully, there is an older gentleman at the entrance every time I stop by for something. I appreciate his willingness to help me immediately every time. I hope companies appreciate the older generations, because you are lucky if the younger one even show up to work

My husband and I were there tonight and we had excellent, excellent help from Juliette. She assisted us with choices of shower heads, filters for refrigerator. She brought to each department, explained the difference . She walked us to our car, made sure that we were safe. She deserves high praises. Oh, this was Amsterdam, NYYou have a gem!!!!

They left all the riding lawn mowers out to get rusted. Open the hood look in the engine they are all rusted out so glad I did not order one from here

My dad was looking in the tool section and wanted to get a tool over $300. The employee who grabbed it for him informed him that he would have to accompany him around the store because my father “fit the profile”, of someone who’s been stealing. So unprofessional!!! If this is the case with the expensive merchandise employees should bring the products to the register to be checked out once my dad was done shopping. That’s all that had to be done! So disgusted. My dad told me about his experience once he got home, with the tool he PAID for. After all the money he spends there y’all should be ashamed to make someone feel that way.

I really enjoyed shopping here. The staff was helpful and friendly.I was extremely IMPRESSED by the skill and knowledge of the young man in the Paint Department. He was great! I wish I had his name to say "thank you, again".

Had to get some lumber, they were kind enough to cut my OSB boards to the needed dimensions. Very helpful and really made getting things home for my project very easy!

I had spent a long day shopping and was feeling a little tired and frustrated as I walked in the store and couldn’t find what I wanted, and up comes the most wonderful person named Juliette, smiling and to the rescue, she immediately found the product and then more, I met Joe and it was the same scenario.. I left the store 100.00 dollars less but feeling grateful to both of them for their expertise and warmth and kindness. Thank you Juliette and Joe!

Was on hold for nearly a half hour, they transferred me to the flooring department when I was trying to get through to the plumbing department. The lady answered the phone in the flooring department & I mentioned to her what I was needing help with & her response was I mean I can put you on hold & then put me on hold. Customer service in this store is depressing

I went to buy a water softer and it went bad plus I was told by two Managers that they will call me after they fix the problem and they never called me back. They made me feel like my money wasn't good enough or it was ill treat you right when I feel like it Cause I went multiple times and spoke multiple times with those 2 managers or one and a 1/2. If? You wan to put it that way and still never gotta call back. Or anything so. I went with home depot and got a better deal online. Believe it or not just giving you the heads up be wary about lowe's

Had issue with a dryer delivery that was somewhat of a nightmare. Called and assistant manager Elaina got involved and straightenee the entire situation out very rapidly. She was a pleasure to deal with. Extremely friendly and very professional. Can’t thank her enough for her assistance.

most upsetting service. the women at the cashier was amazing. but the people on the floor were all lazy and just laid backs. some were really rude. we needed service on the outlet aisle they even called it on the speaker and no one came after waiting 30min. walking around to see if anyone can help no one was barely on the floor. just the worse.

Awful customer service, multiple calls to store customer service received no answer. Called the 1800 number and was told I would get a call back from the store within 24hrs, twice, nothing. Home Depot is much easier to deal with.

Amsterdam Lowes, the worst, they messed up my order, appliances didn’t work, appliances dented scratched, fighting for my return money and I am still waiting for manager to call me back. I Should've stuck with Home Depot. Big mistake with Lowes.

Lowe's needs to help us out and make these people to come out and put our fence up and get a hold JSM Fencing to make them to do their job or hire someone to do it. This is very poor business on Lowe's.!!!!

I came in to look at floooring for our great room and I spoke with your saleman Bill. He walked me all around and told me what would work for laminate. He gave me samples, took the time to explain about the different grades and applications. My husband and I are deciding which we like best, we will definitely be back to place our order. Great customer service

Pay someone to organize your inventory. I overspent just because I couldn’t find the right piece of lumber because it’s so unorganized.Staff has been as helpful as they can. Some above and beyond. This is multiple times I have been here and the the stock is wrong. We cannot find the inventory the system says you have, the third party supplier is not doing their job and lowes is losing money and customers as a result.

Horrible customer service! I recently (when I say recently I mean only 1 week ago) purchased a new dishwasher from the Amsterdam Store. A couple of days after we bought it they had a huge sale on the exact same dishwasher we bought. I called and asked if they would honor the new price since it was only a couple of days since I bought the new one. The lady I spoke to on the phone said they would since it was in the first 30 day window and to bring in the receipt and they would do it. When I went to the customer service desk, the employee there said that they could not do it and they don’t honor the 30 day window. Mind you this would be the same as if I were to return the dishwasher and then purchase is again at the new price. So much for the price promise they have on their website. Thanks for reminding me why I don’t shop here.
