Pulled in and my daughter was like are you sure dad this place is small. I told her it has great reviews. To our surprise this place was AWESOME!! Great food, waitress was super friendly and food was fast to get out. My daughter said best chicken fingers ever and loved the fries. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through. Will stop again if ever in the area again.

4.4! Great lil classic diner with super friendly staff and a good vibe! Clean and big menu!They have fresh ice cream and lots of fun flavours- saw numerous patrons come in for dessert and ice cream only.They use vegetable oil the fryer and a lot of the food so not ideal if you have a soy allergy. My partner said the burger was really good!!Great for kids and families!

It pains me to post this, but the new ownership has changed this gem for the worse. The old classic menu is completely gone. I went there 2 weeks ago. Service is not good, people are not friendly and prices are way too high for a family place. The new ownership is taking people’s childhood memories away it’s sad. I’ve been coming here over 20 years, but will not return. I hope they consider bringing back some of the previous menu items. Their cheeseburger tastes like a Five Guys and the fries are what a sports bar tastes like. Hopefully this place survives, but to be closed on a Tues and Wed. during the summer just isn’t smart for business. They do accept credit cards now. Godbless

Ordered over the phone ahead of time for pickup, had to use a separate site to find a menu, as I was unable to locate an office site for Cappie's or pictures of their menu on their Facebook. That said, I ended up ordering the Fisherman's Platter, the Large Onion Rings, and a Side Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing. All in all, the price was extremely reasonable, coming only to $27 total.When i got home and dug into the meal, I was astounded. Everything that was fried, was so darn good! The onion rings were crispy and flavorful, the shrimp, scallops, and flounder were juicy and fresh, I've not had fried food this good in awhile. Tasted like they used fresh oil just for my meal, lacking any of that fast food used oil burn. The salad did a great job cutting into the grease, though I think the balsamic vinaigrette would have been a better pick for dressing to match the flavors I was taking in.Now I've seen some people complaining about the proportion sizes, and I'll admit, when I opened everything up, I was thinking I'd agree. But thanks to all that breading, by the time I got around to the final few onion rings and fries, I was stuffed. However even if this hadn't been enough, if you look at the prices, you can see this is a pretty reasonable amount of food.My one complaint has nothing to do with the food, but that this is a cash only establishment, so if you're a dumdum like me and forget that, they do have an ATM on site, but if you belong to a bank who charges fees for using ATMs not associated with your branch, then you'll find yourself driving off to grab your money. While I respect Cappie's for being cash only, I don't quite understand it in this day in age for as long as it's been around.

Wow! What an improvement! My compliments to the new owners! They are serving fresh food, made to order. Delicious! We were used to getting Sysco fried food in the past, so this was a really nice surprise. The wait staff was very attentive, and the ice cream was great! The prices were fair, especially since the food is so much better. Instead of going once a year, we'll be going back often!

Was looking for something/some place different to eat. A little Google search of restaurants and happened upon Cappies and glad we did!The atmosphere was very friendly and inviting.The food was very very good.We didn't have their ice cream because we were quite full, but will definitely be going back for that (I hear that it's really good 🍨 🍧)Parking: Lots and lots of parking.Business sits back a bit from the road. There is a large sign with the business name closer to the road.

We were passing through on our way back to Wisconsin, and chose this place because we had our dog with us and thought it was a drive-in. It is not a drive-in. Maybe it plans to be in the future? I heard someone say it was their 3rd day open. The food was just ok, but I’m sure it will improve…they are just getting started. The staff members were friendly and seemed eager to work there.

A seasonal treat with homemade ice cream and superior milk shakes. Great family run business and the entire staff is friendly and fast. The chicken burger and fries is a classic. Always a good experience at this old style drive-in.

I have been coming here for years. The homemade ice cream is very good. Strawberry cheesecake is my favorite. There is a nice variety, and they have soft serve as well. The milkshakes are also great. They have a nice selection of sandwiches and meals for lunch or dinner. There is counter service and booths inside, and you can order food with the car hop if you don't feel like going in. The owners are very personable and make everyone feel welcome.

Great food really brings a old fashion vibe of a drive in restaurant, wish it was open all year around but it makes it that much better when it is open , if you havnt been I recomend to go and try

The staff here is wonderful! So friendly & welcoming! The icecream is delicious! I highly recommend the pistachio & the maple walnut! The food is equally as yummy! I wish I could remember the proper name of the burger I had. It was THE BEST. I do know it had Mustard in it. The chips & onion rings are sooooo good!I will definitely be back!

The while family waits for Cappies Drive In to open each year. Just like waiting for the local ice cream parlor, it's such a great site to see when the doors finally open to the public again! The best park is knowing that you're going to get exactly what you ask for, and it will be made to perfection every time. And on top of all the awesome food they serve, their ice cream and shakes and desserts are to die for. Can't go wrong ordering anything here, it is all amazing!!! Go check it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed!Parking: very large parking lot

We had their chicken sandwiches and they were great and I love their macaroni salad. Every year when they open up for the summer I go and get their macaroni salad....I love it. I always get a scoop of banana ice cream and a scoop of their chocolate ice cream because I love it. I really love their banana ice cream.... It's the best!

I like the place for its peanut butter sundaes and it's really the only reason I go there now. The prices have become so high that it's crazy. The food is flat top and fryer food. I think the owner needs to realize that he'll get more business if he makes the prices a bit more reasonable. We're talking about hot dogs , burgers and fries. They have the car hops which is great especially with what's going on with the pandemic. And people want and need somewhere like that to go for a quick bite and not having to leave the vehicle is a super plus. And I think if he gets a hold of the prices a little better then he'll be back to full parking lots all day and week long again.

Food is very good, and both the food and service is reminiscent of a 50s drive-in.There is usually a crowd but service is quick and efficient. Over a dozen flavors of ice cream, made on site and delicious! Try a scoop of the orange pineapple for a treat or a classic chocolate malted. Prices are fair. Service is great. Food is the stuff memories are made of.

The sweetest humans in the world work here. They're super down-to-earth and attentive. Great food and kind hearts. My wrap was great, and we got a flight of ice cream for dessert. We realized we were running out of time to continue to our destination, and Preston made us full dishes of the ice cream flavors we had to TAKE WITH US. We just asked for a coffee cup to take the leftovers we had and he literally already had the dishes of ice cream ready and just handed them over in a bag. Wish we lived closer to go again, but I'll definitely stop if I'm around again!!!

First time here and it was great. From the food to the customer service. So welcoming and so nice. Had a mixture of food and the kiddos had ice cream :) definitely will be back. If you haven't been make sure you go :)
