This was perfect my aunt was looking for a piece of furniture and the only one they had left was a floor model. The associate was extremely helpful and even was able to provider discount for saidfloor model!

So friendly from the customer to the staff. But you have to buy bags. I'm from south carolina and we don't pay for bags. But everyone is so friendly. It's a shock to me due to stereotypes. Even so it was a great experience and changed my mind about the Mason Dixon line. BIG FACTS

Ordered a pickup item and paid when I made the order, this was done in the AM. I heard nothing at all from Big Lots after about 8 hours (maybe more😡) It was one item that showed they only had one left in stock.I contacted the store, they had not even went to the shelve to get it yet, meaning anyone could have bought it even though I had purchased it many many hours before the call.They acted (sounded) over the phone like they didn't know what they were doing.Needless to say, while I was on the phone with them, one employee stayed in the phone with me while another went to retrieve the item.My entire day was wasted waiting for such a simple order that could have been done and over with in half an hour.Amsterdam Big Lots ... Do Better, Please!

A wide variety of items from food to furniture. The prices are typically average or below average. I recommend this store for someone who needs belongings for a first apartment or going to away to college.

I rated this place kind of neutral. Being a store that I assume gets 2nd hand items from box stores, the selection is sort of hit or miss. The savings that are passed on to the customer are limited for this type of place. All in all, I have made purchases here.

Clean and friendly staff. They had exactly what I was looking for, and more. I like their store layout and selection. Staff member was more than happy to assist me in finding acouple of items, and had great conversation skills. Extremely friendly and made it so that I would def be going back and frequently visiting this location.

Very loosely organized. Too much product, crammed into place, making navigation in the store, a bit problematic. The employee that I interacted with, wasn't as knowledgeable of the products that were in store, as one would hope for.

Yeah I have to rethink this one cashier had a mouth like a truck driver didn't seem to like his job just got a credit card from them and I think I may cancel I don't like shopping in stores where employees seem to be so disgruntled. I remember years ago shopping at the store loved loved it not so much now and whatever you do don't ask questions you're not going to like the way your answered

A big KUDOS to Raul in the furniture department! He was very helpful with the dining room set that I have been waiting months for. He helped me maneuver the app to order online and get all available discounts. He was very patient with me as I definitely am not a techy when it comes to that stuff ! Very courteous, kind and professional, the big box was very gently and neatly taken apart and loaded into my car as it was too big.Thank you again Raul !

Typical Big Lots. Needed help identifying a bed frame. The employee was too busy talking to another customer about taking another job. I guessed and the only way I knew I was right was at checkout and the price matched the sign. It was a bed frame and the boxes were intermingled. One register open, line 6 people deep. But the cashier could chat with another employee. Sure, prices are reasonable, but don't expect a good customer service experience. Wear your "patience cap".

Surprisingly good selection of pottery for outdoor plants and a lot of good memorial day, 4th of July selections. Nice outdoor furniture reasonably priced. It is sort of a hit and miss place. But it's worth stopping in to see what's there.

Cheap items, and you find out why 30 days later, every single item I bought there except 2 benches all broke after 30 days, couch, 4 chairs, fans, space heaters, and tools all broke. I used to go there weekly for years..now I won't buy anything there anymore due to quality issues, but the building and employees are great!

Nice big store ,a pretty good selection of products! Employees weren't tentative to the need for an additional cashier when lines were getting backed up . One cashier is fine but when another person is needed jump in !

I was actually in the store to pick up a Roadie delivery order, and the gentleman at the checkout counter was handling like three issues at once, talking on the radio, and working with other customers being very courtious! I was out in 6 min or less, and the place was paced, all registers open!

Some hits some misses....retail store that claims lots at discounts however discounts are in the double digits of change generally. Still got some stuff only they carry thats worth an occasional visit!

Our salesperson in furniture was cordial and swift. We drove down to Amsterdam from speculator and back with our new bed and linens in less then 3 hour's. Great prices we will be back.
