This store is a truth wrapped in a lie. Less expense for many items but not any you will recognize. Their off brand strategy gives you savings but not always a flavor point you may be use to. Their packaging is also different. Overall, it is a serviceable store but you will need another option to shop in for items they are lacking.

Cashier gave me attitude and was a complete jerk! I asked to speak to a manager and the cashier said there were no managers in the store at the moment. I then asked another employee for help and they also gave me attitude and ignored me. I got a little annoyed and angry, so the next day I called the store and spoke to the manager. They said there is nothing they can do about it. I will NEVER recommend this location to anyone! Just filled with a bunch of rude people who care about a paycheck! I understand prices are cheap at this store, but there is another Aldi in Johnstown, NY. 0/10, I would rate this location 0 stars if I could. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this location as long as them employees are employed.

I have ordered multiple times from Aldi. I have noticed some things that are unacceptable, such as Aldi having an interactive way of changing a confirmation email, within your own email. This should be a permanent record of the original order and, being in your own email, should not be able to be changed by them. The items refunded can not be seen to be sure that they were in fact, properly refunded. I have seen quite a few discrepancies in that and it is shady. I also specifically asked in my order to have items refunded if not available,yet were replaced, and also items replaced with completely unacceptable items that are not even within the same category as the original items. The most important of these being the changes within my own confirmation email, which should have clearly not have been able to be accessed, and thorough review of the original order should be accessible. In addition, I was not provided with a receipt in any of my bags, therefore I am unavailable to properly review my order. The ability to scam customers is very real and these actions by Aldi is making that possible.

I am impressed with the level of attention to cleanliness, order, and customer service at this ALDI location. The store can be very busy at times and despite only having a small crew of staff on duty at any given time, they manage and care for it with exceptional levels of care and professionalism. Very hard working associates who’ve never made any errors I’ve detected in the check-out process. The carts are all in good working order and the parking lot has two entrances and exits which aids on busy days to get in and out with ease

I love the lower prices. Being a single mother to a growing 16 year old boy who has type-1 diabetes groceries can get quite expensive. Eating healthy well balanced meals are EXTREMELY important for my son. He NEEDS healthy balanced meals for his diabetic care and to grow to be a healthy young man. Feeding a growing teenage boy can get VERY expensive fast. Thankfully Aldi's is just a 5 minute ride down the road for me. I love the huge variety of food and other stuff they sell. My favorite part of the store is the produce. The produce is cheap in cost but all a high quality products. I prefer their produce because its way better than most super markets. I can buy MORE for a extremely lower faction of the price. I know people shy away due to thinking the prices are low because it's low quality....BUT!...That's the furthest from the truth. LOW prices for HIGHER quality food!!!😍🛒❤🤑💲👍🏻💰😁

Fresh produce, great pricing on meat and frozen goods. Easy to shop, clean aisles and floors. Has a stand for wipes to clean cart handles but this was empty at 930am, this should be refreshed at opening to give customers peace of mind.

I love this store. I used to shop at Aldi when I lived in Denmark in the 90s and I'm very glad that they're here now.

I have to admit, the first time I went here, I got irritated. Things are done a little differently here. For instance, you need a quarter to get a shopping cart. (Standing in the pouring rain with three small children digging for a quarter was a bad way for me to learn that.) You need to either bring your own bags or use their boxes to carry your food out. At checkout, everything goes back into your cart...you are not allowed to bag your groceries then. There’s a separate area for that.The selection is very interesting. They have some great items I can’t find anywhere else. (Their cilantro hummus is a good example and it is to die for!) The prices can be phenomenal! They frequently have produce and dairy items at half the cost of the regular grocery stores.I have not been thrilled with their generic cereals or crackers.Overall, the experience is a little different but worth it. And seriously, get the hummus.

Groceries are incredibly affordable and such great quality here. Don't forget your quarter for the cart and your reusable bags. Their store brands are usually just as good if not better than name brands. Their German chocolates are especially good. I am also proud that they pay their employees higher than average. They have a nice selection of natural and organic products for a shockingly low price compared to elsewhere. Certain items that you would expect to be year round items are actually seasonal so we shop at Aldis first and then whatever we cannot get at Aldis we pick up elsewhere. I do not recommend getting small appliances/electronic devices here as it seems the quality is lacking in those items. Small kitchen non-motorized tools like spatulas are acceptable though.

Cut my grocery bill by like 33% shopping here.Sometimes they don't carry some of the more exotic ingredients, but it's still worth it to me buy 90% of my food here and then swing to hannaford across the street for the few things I couldn't find.

Love this place. They have organic, gluten free, vegan, and many other special dietary needs. Prices are very competitive and the products are comparable to larger chain grocery stores. Only down side is sometimes they don't have everything I need and I have to make a second stop while shopping.

Prices have went up more then I thought they would may have something to do with the remodel and I wish they would stock more vegan but over all a much better experience than price chopper
