This CVS is the worse. There customer service is horrible. Gillette the the pharmacist in charge has a horrible attitude. She doesn't know how to speak and becomes very defensive when asked questions. Gillette openly talks about the customers in front of other customers and staff. Each time the medication is supposed to be ready it is never ready. The constant delays in receiving the medication is beyond ridiculous. I encourage everyone not to use this pharmacy at all.

Rude staff. When I was trying to get help with something, a blonde girl looked away as she don't want to hepl me, I started with a friendly "Hi" she look up and down to me and then said "How can I help you?" with an attitude, after that action I just said "Never mind" and I walked away to another staff member. My partner which didn't saw what happened ask me "what's going on?" And I replied "That she was with an attitude" she heard me saying that and her answer was "Girl! WHAT ATTITUDE?!" In front of the other team member and a customer, really disrespectful. I did answered back, and she keep quiet. After a couple of seconds when the 2nd team member finish with that customer, I ask him for help and he too was with an attitude. Horrible experience honestly, they need some customer service courses.

If I could give a 0 star for this store, I would! My son has Type 1 diabetes and there is ALWAYS an issue with this location. Every one in there are lazy and rude. No matter how polite you are to them, they always are bothered to help you in any questions or concerns that you have. Not to mention you ALWAYS have to wait 10min+ to be answered over the phone or wait 30min + if you go through the drive through.

Very friendly and accommodating when I did not have my care pass and helped me to get my coupons update my account with current information.

Always a line at the counter and drive through. The pharmacy staff is miserable and rude. They close with shutters down every day for lunch like it's the year 1890. The should put up some posts outside so I can tie up my horse. I sincerely hope that CVS goes out of business.

When I picked up my order they said one of my items had to be ordered. The cashier said it wouldn’t be in until Friday. Then I went to the consultation desk and the pharmacist said it was already ordered and on its way for the following day. I went back and it wasn’t there. They hadn’t even ordered it and didn’t know if it would come. I had to wait another day and travel to another cvs to pick it up. I just don’t like that they lied, blatantly. I’m going back to stop & shop and you should too.

Service is horrible and has dramatically gone down in the pharmacy with no indication of going in the up direction in sight. Even the automated system does not work properly and after being on hold waiting for someone to pick up to not be on the phone and speak they pick up the phone and then hang up leaving you the option of either calling again or just going into the store in person.

Lately, the service at CVS stores has deteriorated quite a lot. There are extremely long lines at the pharmacy and also at the front of the store. There are not enough cashiers at the stores I frequent.

They could not fully fill my prescription, they gave me 25 out of a 30 count. I paid the full price. When I went back to pick up the other 5 that they shortened me they gave me a hard time and said I needed a prescription, i showed them the paperwork from my last order. They still refused to help me. My doctor said if you have a problem to have them call him, they refused. Your pharmacy would not even try to help me. I think the manager came over, not even knowing the situation and she said he knew he was getting 25 count and walked away from me. I can’t believe they would so carelessly put a customers health at risk. I think it may be time to switch to another pharmacy. Please teach your pharmacists not to be so rude to your costumers. Im very upset about this situation and I still don’t have the medication I need. If I could give this review 0 stars I would have.

I tried the Amityville CVS for convenience of hours. They were ok at first, but got progressively worse with rudeness of some staff behind the pharmacy counter and so many mistakes with insurance and prescriptions, often without explanation. Our family had too many mistakes that cost us a lot of wasted time on the phone with our insurance and driving back and forth to this CVS. We discovered that most of our issues were easily fixed when we used a different CVS with competent staff. I don’t know what it is about this location, but there was almost always a problem. If an issue was fixed at all, it was dependent upon how lucky you got with a particular staff member. Some tried, others didn’t care enough to help at all and told us to call our doctor or insurance companies. Quite often, the doctors and insurance companies told us it was a pharmacy error. Also, I could also do without anti-mask commentary from one of the pharmacy cashiers who claimed he couldn’t hear me because of my mask and proceeded to talk about how “masks don’t work” with another customer as I was waiting. How/why is this still an issue for the chronically ill or anyone at all? At a pharmacy, no less. No, thanks and MYOB.

Just spoke to someone in the pharmacy who was unnecessarily rude and impatient. I was just asking basic questions about prescriptions they never notified me they received or were ready. She also put me on hold in the middle of a conversation without any warning, then just kept insisting I answer her question about which I wanted before saying “ok they’ll be ready tomorrow bye” and hanging up. Just wow.

Floor staff is nowhere to be found after 10pm, self check-out machines are constantly experiencing issues for no apparent reason, Pharmacists are rude and extremely hard to get ahold of over the phone, and the pharmacy drive thru line? 8 cars at any given time. Plan to be there for 30 minutes minimum.

Called in a script to transfer because my pharmacy was closed and I needed the medication tonight. Was told sure it'll be ready in an hour. Two hours go by nothing happens sit on hold on the phone for 25 minutes just to be told they don't have it, and by that point all the other stores nearby are closed so I'm still out of luck. Hopefully my withdrawals tonight/tomorrow aren't too bad.

This place used to be quite awesome.. For the past years it's gone downhill. As a Cancer and Cardiac patient, I depend on my scripts, some of them literally life saving. Getting them refilled on time is now an issue, as many times they are "out" and have to order. Or the line is literally 12 deep and I am there for close to an hour.. it's getting worse and worse and now for the past 48 hours.. the store has been CLOSED- with a sign outside saying- The Store has been deemed not safe.. whatever that means. I have scripts inside to be picked up.. more coming this week.. With only a note saying all scripts have been re-routed to Lindenhurst. I went to that store this afternoon and couldn't even find a parking spot.. I AM DONE!!! CVS has lost a 10 year+ customer.. NEVER AGAIN

Drive thru everyday line wraps around bldg. Just as bad inside to pickup meds. Not sure why more not hired to handle this or redesign bldg. They send texts to pickup meds. Should not have to wait an hour or more on a line inside or drive thru Going on months, years. Need to change to another rx store

I have been picking up medicine for eight years at the CVS location, and for eight years it’s been a hassle. I live with a horrible chronic illness and just survived cancer, so unfortunately I need to rely on my pharmacy for more than I care to. Today was the final straw and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Every month I refill my (same) medicine and every month I get a confirmation text message that my medicine is ready to be picked up and every month I get to CVS with the same answer from the pharmacy “it’s too early to refill.” If I’m lucky I get one of two young women who are wonderful or one male pharmacist who is good and they can actually work through the weeds to get my medication ( which means I need at least 20 minutes after waiting on line). As far as the rest of the pharmacy staff they are useless, rude, incompetent, entitled, lack any manner of empathy for their patients & should not be in healthcare. As a sidenote please don’t forget to bring your your reusable bag or you will be judged at the front counter, even if you don’t take a CVS bag. I have been sick too many times because CVS refused to give me my medication when I needed it as prescribed by my doctor. Fair warning to anyone who uses this pharmacy and best of luck to everyone who does.

I went through the drive-through to purchase ibuprofen . Elizabeth told me she couldn’t help me “you have to come inside for that or call so i can have it at the window” ok.. so I left , called . Circled around after another 35min wait drive thru her response was “you really called for this ?WOW” comment was UNCALLED FOR. You DO NOT know my situation i have an infant in my car , it was pouring rain, just got out of work long day and my husband is Sick . I personally have NO one that can help me no family here. She was rude and condescending i tried calling 3x asking for manager and 1st time i got a gentleman named nick transferred me and hung up , then second the pharmacist hung up when i said hello? third person decided to send me to a voicemail after asking her for the manager information. What an incredibly frustrating time for a $4 transaction it took an hour

First of all the pharmacist are the nastiest people with the worst personality. They never have my medication ready on time they said that there was something wrong with my insurance and that the NP that’s been prescribing my medicine for the past seven months said that she wasn’t allowed to prescribe medication and said that she had to get cleared from someone higher up which wasn’t true.

The Jamaican pharmacy technician is extremely rude and needs to be retrained in customer service. I got off at work and went into the pharmacy around 1:45am for medicine. I tried to ring myself up at the self checkout but they needed to do an age verification. I stood there for a few minutes while the machine summoned for a worker but none came. I walked to the pharmacy counter in the back and told the two ladies there what happened. No one acknowledged me or responded so I assumed they didn't hear me until the younger one asked the Jamaican tech ( JT) if she should call for someone to go to the front. The JT said yes, which made me realize that she did hear me but just ignored me. She then said we are swamped with work back here let her go to the front. First of all, it's almost 2am how swamped could you be, secondly she could and should have addressed me directly since I was closer to her than the other Tech. When I told her that she was being rude she told me "she wasn't talking to me" and she fanned me away saying "oh please". When I asked her for her name she refused to give it to me. I asked to speak with a manager, she said there was none in the store. I plan on returning tomorrow to speak with a manager about this encounter because it was unacceptable.

This pharmacy is constantly late with important prescriptions. I have come 2 days in a row to pick up what was supposed to be here 3 days ago and they just say “it’s not ready”. No explanation, no ETA, no apology. The woman pharmacist was coughing terribly and took her mask off to PULL OUT a piece of gum from her mouth with her bare fingers, throw it in the garbage and put her mask back on. She didn’t sanitize or wish after and acted like it was normal.Absolutely disgusting.I have used CVS pharmacy for years but will not be using this one any longer.

This a few months ago was a good pharmacy before but it is no longer worth coming for your medications here. They never have them ready, they tell you 15 minutes you come back and questions they tell you 25 minutes and so on they have you for several hours. They keep you with a big lie. It is incredible that sometimes you come for your recipe that has been sent for 1 or 2 days and is not yet ready. At night it is a nightmare to come here the night staff is very rude and hostile without counting that sometimes there are only two people for a pharmacy that is usually open 24 hours. In recent months I feel so disappointed in this pharmacy. If a prescrption does not cover your plan they say the doctor did not send it when you insist that the doctor sent it. Then they will see on another computer and there appears the medicine that according to them the doctor never sent it. They do such a poor job that leaves much to be desired. It used to be my favorite pharmacy to pick up my medications, now it's a total nightmare. If you don't want to have headaches, don't come to this place.

Zero stars, had a horrible experience today. The lady at the front was extremely rude to me, she was being racist and she seemed like she’s being forced there to work for free. She said the following words- “I can never have a good day, never come here” to another white lady. The lady working there made my mom uncomfortable with her comments. I believe this lady shouldn’t even be allowed to work there with her unethical actions towards customers. Never going there again.

Very very disappointed. We have flu appointment at this location . We checked in and waited . There was a person sitting in vaccine area . We waited as thought she is a patient , she was talking on phone . After waiting 20 min I went in and ask her . She was talking on phone , and said oh yes I will check , she dropped the phone and check on her phone and said yes come .If I didn’t go there to check I have been waiting for hours .

The reviews are right about the pharmacy, it’s very unorganized and some of the staff could have a better attitude. My best advice is that when you get a prescription sent here KEEP CALLING and FOLLOWING UP to check to see if your prescription is arrived or is ready because they will not contact you or tell you this. ALSO, when you call don’t connect directly to the pharmacy, connect to the main store first and then ask if they can transfer you to the pharmacy(they do not answer the pharmacy phone). My inhaler, which was badly needed, had to be delivered at the pharmacy first and I was told that they would call me when it came. I then called back and was told that the delivery was coming at around 1:00. When I called at 1:00 the man I spoke with said it was delivered and ready to be picked up and they did not call me like they said. It also did not say it was ready on the CVS app. Who knows how long I would’ve waited for it if I hadn’t called so KEEP CALLING AND FOLLOWING UP! Especially if it’s an important prescription. We are living in stressful times right now so I didn’t let the negative attitudes of the workers offend me, they are in my prayers in these trying times.

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy in the U.S. Despite a physician calling in a prescription, it has NEVER been ready without a minimum of three phone calls and two visits- typically more than that. Other pharmacies don't require you to call in to confirm it's been filled after the doctor calls in the prescription. This CVS does. Even after my first call when the CVS employee "assures" me it will be processed and ready at a certain time, it NEVER is. Then I pull up to the drive up window and they tell me "It's not ready," so I have to come back yet again and wait in a line with four cars ahead of me. I can also see online when the doctor calls it in and it just sits at CVS with no action whatsoever. It's a nightmare. I've spoken to the managers on several occasions, but nothing ever changes. The only reason I continue to go here is because it's for my elderly mother-in-law.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They have messed up my prescription multiple times; if you go inside you will stand there for at least 5 minutes before any of the pharmacists acknowledge you; and you cannot get through on the phone. Just waited for 30 minutes and then someone picked up and hung up. This place is either understaffed, mis-managed, or incompetent.

There was a recall on my mother's medicine and when I called the pharmacy to check on recall they told me that it was ok to take. I decided to go in person to check and it had a recall. They seem to not care and not even an apology. Be careful and always check for yourself. This is so sad that we can trust anyone.

I stop here occasionally for certain items, since it is open, 24/ 7 hours. The store always has a good variety of products, especially in the sanitary items department, and there is a large vision department.Sometimes I stop to get my glasses adjusted. The workers are helpful and friendly. 👍😃🙂
