Mediocre AT BEST. The "cook" shows little regard for customer requests and doesn't care about the quality of his food served. Plating is sloppy. Keep in mind, this is all simple pub and not difficult to make! The first half a dozen visits i ordered wings, which are jumbo, straight from the menu, and they were always under cooked, one time so badly. I sent them back. One would think this impossible, as they precook them. Afterward, I have ordered wings extra crispy, xx-crispy, and xxx-crispy. They were mostly cooked inside, but still not crispy enough, except for the xxx, which were like jerky. They also do a poor job at skimming the fryers before cooking the wings, as there are always bits and pieces of grease soaked fries mixed in. They also just dump the sauced wings on the plate extra pool of sauce included at No charge, which is unbelievable, as the only give 1 blue cheese free, even when you order a double or triple order of wings, but will happily add more, without asking, for $.75 a piece. They also do the same with their salad dressing, even if you order a large, "dinner sized," and not side salad. On the salads, there is ALWAYS rotten lettuce included, free of charge. Burgers are almost always not the correct doneness, over or under, almost like they don't own an instant read thermometer. It’s been a few days since we’ve been to The Old Mill Inn, and I’m still thinking about the wings. They were excellent! The menu had a great variety of food and the restaurant itself has cool, what we call “I Spy” items on the wall and on shelves. There’s also a pool table and arcade upstairs. With Alfred State and University close by, The Old Mill Inn is definitely a great place to eat.

We came never having heard of The Old Mill Inn but they were open on a Monday while so many other places weren't.My drinks were great, the service was wonderful and the food excellent. It's been a long time since we've gone out to eat and thoroughly enjoyed all of our meal and eaten everything. The serving sizes were perfect.We highly recommend a visit or several. We knew before we were even done eating, and told the staff, that we would be coming back.Kid-friendliness: We happened on the Inn on their kids eat free night, but our kids were with friends and it was date night for mom and dad.

I really was impressed. A wide variety of good food, pub grub like burgers and fries, and comfort food like home Mac & Cheese. I had a 1/4 cheese burger that was fresh ground beef along with a fresh roll that was excellent. I finished the Mac & Chesse off my mother's order also. Hand cut French Fries were good also.A fair sized 2 floor dining area was nice, and they had NCAA football on the wall TV to keep you entertained.The bar was open, plus there was a good-sized deck area with tables and chairs for warmer weather.Nice atmosphere of local area nick knacks gave it some hometown touchs. The serving staff were professional and friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and the parking lot was easy to access and well lit.Highly recommend 👌Parking: Fair sized lot, we had no trouble getting a spot even after the local college football game.Kid-friendliness: I saw some pinball machines and a game or 2 to keep the kids occupied until the food arrives. The dining area is separate from the bar also.

It was rib night, but we decided to try the calzones. We should have ordered one to share! Very generous in size, and because I asked, mine was a three cheese (mozz, parm & ricotta) w/a side of sauce. We got there around 4ish and there were a handful of people at the bar. A group from Wellsville showed up after we were seated and they all had the ribs (which looked delicious).I’m glad that we have a casual dinner venue in our community, and appreciate all that Noah has done to make it a welcoming place to gather for a meal and/or cocktails.

In a period of renovation, but still excellent service and great food. The wings are the best around! Service is exceptional! Try the grilled fish, if it's a Friday night - outstanding!Dietary restrictions: The wings are dusted in corn flour, so should be ok for those who are gluten sensitive. They're my favorite around, especially the PBJ wings (give them a tey- surprisingly delicious!)❤️

Friendly staff, fun (and mostly free!) arcade games, amazing food and a huge selection of beer, cider, liquor, $15 wine wall bottles and almost every soft drink your heart could desire!Dietary restrictions: The friendly staff is extremely helpful and accommodating for any dietary concerns you haveKid-friendliness: Best place to take your whole family! There is something for everyone and the upstairs can be accessed from an upper parking lot if the older “kids” want to use the arcade!

I came here with a very large group of diverse graduate students and enjoyed my visit. I had wings and fries, which were both good. I thought the service was top-notch. The waitress was super sweet and knowledgeable. The bartender was nice, and we didn't wait long for a drink, and everyone was just way nicer than I thought they would be. The place was smaller than we thought, and they couldn't really accommodate a large group inside, so they pulled some picnic tables together for us outside. It was a nice day, so it was fine, but that's something to think about if your group is large. Lastly, we were surprised about how affordable the meal was. Not including our drinks (which we ordered at the bar), our group of 16 contributed about $20 per person which included tax and tip! Thats a steal! I would come back here.

Wings were awesome but could use more sauce, garlic parm fries were blah.Service was inconsistent and our waitress was a bit flighty. It wasn't terribly busy but most of the tables were still dirty from patrons that had already left. The pile of (clean) napkins on our table were stained with sauce from whoever had sat there before us.Place could be so much better if the staff cared more.

Got the Cheesesteak Mac. It was very good, but the portion was very small for the price. (a small bowl for $13)Also, our server (Noah?) went on break at some point during our meal... Had no refills offered after this point and we waited over 30 minutes for our check. Luckily we were not really in a hurry.

My two sons set up a birthday surprise party for me at The Old Mill on Saturday. Noah and his crew did a fantastic job taking care of all our needs. There were around 20 people at the party, and our waitress (Holly) should be commended. She made sure everyone was satisfied all the time while waiting on other customers. Anyone searching for a place to have a party, business meeting or the like, should consider The Old Mill.

The Old Mill is more than just a Mill that is Old. Once you walk through the front door you are transported to a place known to many as "Flavor Town". There is such an awesome variety of food and drink that one could dine in this fine establishment weekly and it would take 231 weeks to try it all. It would be the best 4.125 years of your life.While other restaurants may leave you waiting in silence while waiting for your food, The Old Mill has tons to offer while waiting for your heavenly food choice to arrive. Want to play an arcade game? They got em. Wanna watch sports or an episode of FRIENDS? They got em. Wanna play a game of skill like pool or darts? Yep, they got em. Wanna test your knowledge and win amazing prizes while playing trivia? Duh... they got it.The Old Mill is your next family tradition. Every time I walk in, I am greeted with "When your here, your family". Come join the family, and definitely come on Thursdays at 6pm for Post It Trivia. Because that's what family does.
