Popped in here before our boat tour. Their fudge caught our eye and so we purchased multiple squares of different flavors. Decent portions, very thick and incredibly tasty. Also it was a thoughtful idea to pack a plastic knife for cutting the squares into thinner pieces. Made it easy to consume on the go.

My husband and I stopped here for dessert during our stay in Alexandria Bay. I was impressed at the large variety of candy and ice cream. There were so many fun and old fashioned candies and fudge. They also had a large stock of different Hershey's hard ice cream and over 24 different flavors of soft serve. I had a strawberry soft serve cone and it was fascinating to watch them make it using syrup, a mixer, and some kind of press to get that soft serve swirl look.Something that was truly impressive was that we were there close to closing time and my husband wanted a decaf cappuccino. They could have easily said they couldn't make it, but they went out of their way to make it fresh for him. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area!

1st time there and it was amazing !! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the fudge is truly the best I've ever had. Bought the chocolate and the maple both were amazing but I must say that the maple is soooooo good. Thank you again for the great service and absolutely the best fudge. Will definitely be top of the list for go to places in the Bay.

When you are visiting, Alexandria Bay, this is a MUST stop! They have the BEST fudge with many different flavors to offer. They also have great hard and soft serve ice cream. It's a small shop, always busy, and always 100%!

Lots of flavors of fudge. I got root beer and my wife got chocolate. They were both very good.They also had delicious looking candy and ice cream.

If you have concerns about allergies this place has done an awesome job! The ice cream is Hershey's brand and the shop has a great list showing all the allergy concerns for all the individual flavors. The staff was great about helping us, portions size is good, and prises are around the same as any other ice cream shop. The only thing I could possibly think of to deduct points for is the quality of the spoons they give out. This may seem like a silly thing, but it was a little hard at first to eat hard ice cream with a soft bending spoon. Also, the spoons can be sharp so it is possible to cut the sides of your mouth on them. That's the only reason they lost a star. I feel like if you have small children it would be a great concern, thankfully nobody in our group paid for ice cream with blood. As someone who has been cut by a cheap plastic spoon before it's something I will always drop a star for. Otherwise the shop is great, yummy fudge, ice cream, and other treats. Enjoy!

We went up for a day trip to the bay last week. It was pretty slow on a Wednesday, which was perfect for us. We stopped in for some sweets to bring back to our room. We picked up a bag of watermelon and a bag of neopolitan salt water taffy, and of course fudge! We got pistachio, chocolate walnut, and maple walnut..(2 pieces of each) and everything is delicious! We still have some and it's been a week and its still tasty. We put the fudge in an air tight container to keep it fresh.. Prices were good, we spent $25 for everything.Update:I hate to say it but I'm just realizing that the fudge that's called pistachio fudge has walnuts with green food coloring around them, they don't use pistachios in it. That's really disappointing just deceitful.

Amazing treats that have held up to my memories from when I was a kid. More than just Nostalgia they have an amazing product from the multiple fudge, to the saltwater taffy and the mouth-watering truffles everything is great. Staff is super friendly Tip well!!

We were trying to be responsible and got one fruit slice candy each. We sat outside and ate them, they were sooo good , better than any we’ve ever had. So we went back in and bought a pound of them.

Decided to stop here with my friends as out last stop here in Alexandria Bay and was pleased with the delicious ice cream offered here. I personally ordered a regular scoop of strawberry ice cream which was quite a good portion unlike most places I've been to. The ice cream was very creamy and delicious. My friends ordered a cappuccino crunch flavored ice cream and some bourbon flavor which was really good as well. I personally recommend this place if you're looking for some ice cream on a hot summer day! The girls here were very nice too and helped choose flavors if you're not sure what to get.

Always a great stop every time we are up in the thousand islands. They serve Hershey brand ice cream with a good flavor selection. And their fudge is so worth stopping by for! Super creamy and many flavors to try, I have not yet found one I don't like. Be careful, always busy on a sunny day so don't stop if you're in a hurry, but your patience will be rewarded if you do wait. Always a friendly and helpful staff too.

Went with friends each having something different. Those who had fudge said it was delicious and there were many flavors to choose from. The various types of truffles were also delicious. And of course the ice cream is always good. They have 24 flavors of soft serve and a large variety of hard ice cream as well.

Great ice cream selection. The small is not small! They are very generous with the servings. They have a great selections of fudge and other chocolate treats and candy. The staff was fast and friendly. They have a few tables inside to sit and enjoy. Perfect for a hot day and sweet treat.

I've missed visiting the fudge shop during COVID...hope to resume my yearly visits soon. Great selection of fudge and ice cream too! I like the store's policy of buy 3 and get one free 'cause then everyone gets to choose their favorite fudge!

I have been coming to Lil' River Fudge Co for years now while I vacation up in the Bay. The ice cream and service is always top notch, as well as any of the candies. Reason for 4 star review: Do not order any of the breakfast sandwiches, they are literally worse than gas station ones. They are microwaved and taste like cardboard, I know it is an ice cream shop, but it doesn't take very long to crack an egg on a skillet. We ate a few bits and threw the rest out it was so bad, just be mindful.

Went to get ice cream, ordered a small cone, 2 girls were very friendly the cashier not so much and she shorted us $10. When my husband told her about the mistake she gave him attitude and he informed her we lived locally and offered our phone number if her drawer was short she said "whatever its fine" so either she knew she shorted us for quick cash or genuinely didn't know but her attitude was not at all what you would expect from an employee at an ice cream shop. If you don't want to work don't because no one needs your attitude! It was a typical "I don't care " attitude.

Last week I was brought a box of Lil River Fudge as a gift. In my opinion this is creamier and more tasty than fudge I have purchased in many other locations. I have samples of the chocolate and the blueberry. These are so good that I will request other flavors when Stephen next visits Alexandria Bay !

Nice little spot. Quaint with an old fashioned atmosphere. The Herseys flavors of ice cream are broad, and the candy/fudge section is meant for indulgence. The ice cream is on the cheaper side for the area. $2.62 for a small cup.

I love this place! I got the monkey meets the moose and it was quite delicious. Maddie did a great job making it and had great customer service skills! Will definitely be coming back.

Cute little candy shop, but all of the staff was so miserable. Definitely made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by being the only customer. 🙄 Would not go back, they were that rude.

I have one of their punch cards which states buy 7 cones, get one free. In the past, however many cones we purchased, we got a punch for each one. Now they are only giving 1 punch per visit. This means as a family of 5, we will have to buy 35 cones before we get a free one. Hardly an incentive. The Lil' River Fudge has lost a customer.

2 of us got the flavored soft serve (raspberry and black cherry) and they really didn't taste much different than Vanilla base used. Staff very unfriendly also.
