It's just the right size for the area. Small enough to be friendly and offer great service but big enough you could supply your home renovation from here. We were camping at the near by DeWolf Point State Park and needed some supplies and they had everything we needed for that too.

Very disappointed with yard help and so called yard manager. I’ve order lots of supplies and working on a cottage and will no longer go to Garlock! I called and was told there’s lumber available, go to select lumber and they are out of the size I needed. The yard manager wouldn’t rip the size I needed even though they were out of that size with good boards. Don’t tell me you have and then don’t offer a more expensive board as only option. Kid was rude when selecting wood and manager acted as if he could care less. They sell all their wood to Johnson and Johnson for big contract but won’t help the little guy. Rte 37 is much more customer focused and better to work with!

the customer service here sucked!! the employees were no help what so ever, acted like they had no idea how to do their jobs! and the manger josh (i believe) was so rude. kept talking over us, had a very poor attitude, couldnt help us with anything! definitley wont be bringing my business here again.

I want to tell you about my experience at your store today. I'm not familiar with your store went in saw gentleman stocking the shelvesI started to tell him my situation he didn't bother to even look up at me or acknowledge me so I stopped and ask him if he works here I barely got a yes out of him. I told him my situation and asked him if he had any suggestions he gave me a suggestion and I said where do I find that his answer was outside didn't bother to ask me if you could take me there to show me not a thing so I walked out needless to say I won't be back and I won't be spending any money there I want to thank Mr. toothpick in the mouth associate for all of his great help

Horrible! Will never return. Was sold a lawnmower that would not start. Had to fight with the so called manager to return it 3 hours later. Was told to return it to the manufacturer. Employees and manager are clueless. Older women working there could not be ruder.

My trip to this store was extremely disappointing. Not one associate was even remotely friendly or helpful. Upon asking if they carried a particular item I got an extremely harsh NO! for an answer. We got to see an older employee yelling at another employee twice in front of customers. We were completely ignored by everyone else, somewhere between 5-10 other employees. They do have huge selection but their prices are quite high. I do not plan to return.

Beautiful store tucked away off of the main road. I never really knew what they had to offer but was pleasantly surprised when i walked in on a Sunday morning and saw just how big the store was. Stihl products are available as well as a assortment of doors, windows, appliances and even some specialty items i was not expecting! They had ZIP sheathing Flex Tape!!!Anyways great store good prices and nice people

Small-town neighborhood service!Whenever I've needed anything, they treat me like the most important person to their business! Today it was paint, usually it's a repair challenge that requires some thinking skills that they're experts at, especially when dealing with non-DIY people like myself.I can usually get great solutions that big box stores don't give me.

One of the few well stocked hardware stores in the region.Good for small purchases for must have items.If however you need - let's say - more than $ 20.00 worth of product go on to the big box stores in either Ogdensburg or Watertown.You will save upwards of 30% on most products.

Needed a freezer asap. Fifteen minutes after taking to a young lady at Garlocks my freezer was being delivered and saved fifty dollars by not going to watertown. Great place to do business.

I love Garlocks Lumber, hardware & design center. I always joke to my wife, if Garlocks doesn't have it, I don't need it! Especially like the very convenient boat docking on the Otter Creek to pick up things for all your island projects.

Kept on hold for over 15 mins, when I arrived and told them in the store I was still on hold from the ride over, Josh didn't seem to care.....that's the last time I will ever go there!
