While strolling through downtown Alexandria Bay we came across this 5&10. We were hoping it would have some true 5&10 qualities in this retro kind of small town.Upon entering we found that this was not quite the case. There wasn't anything 5&10ish, not even a few penny/ super cheap candies for kids. This store is full of souvenirs that are pretty much the same as the other stores on the strip. Most of them are pretty cheesy but they had some decent options if you wanted a Christmas ornament or some cute lake house decor. There were plenty of t shirts, mugs, shot glasses, small items with a variety of peoples names printed on, etc. There were some items that didn't have Alexandria Bay or 1000 Islands plastered across which was good. I think the 5&10 name and sign is misleading but if you have time to kill and come and look you might find something you like.
