Went Friday night to gather up a pup that we are fostering. He had been at the shelter for a few months. Thank you Rachel for coming after hours so we could have our meet and greet. The place looks amazing. Thank you all, who work, who volunteer, you are all wonderful people.

We adopted Toby today, all the women there were wonderful! My husband was somewhat hesitant and they assured us in doing the adoption they would be there for us! We brought him home and he has taken over the house! It's like he was always here! I think in some ways he was! We love him already! He is beyond perfect! Thank you paws, in Albion, and thank you Patti for giving this baby! Gob bless you all!❤️

Came here looking for a cat after a less than satisfactory experience at the Orleans county shelter. They are so nice here, and more than happy to let you play with the cats and answer questions about them. Plus they have a great deal on adoptions, and said we could even try the cat at home for a few days to see if it got along with our current cat! So nice, and they truly care about a good match.

Definitely better than a lot of places animals could end up, especially the street. However, when we went there to get our first cat, Roscoe, he was so covered in stuff that my parents thought he was completely gray. He was brown and white. The room the cats are in is also kinda crowded.Overall, not a comfortable place for animals to be, but it has shelter and food and people that care at least a little. It could be both far better and far worse.

We felt sorry for a dog that had been there over a year and we decided to adopt him but we are buying a house and needed to wait a week before we picked him up in the meantime we bought some toys and some treats and went and spent three hours with him in the fenced area out back. After 3 hours my daughter went to kiss him on the top of the head and he bit my daughter in the face. After this we were told by the staff that he has been one or two other people before. This information was kept from us because they wanted to get rid of this dog. My daughter is pursuing modeling and the scar has not gone away they have completely disregarded the value of my daughter and after being a kidnap Survivor I am not only offended I am extremely angry and will be going after these people

To the lady whose daughter got bit,never put your face up to a dog you barely know.. Just saying.. They don't raise these dogs,people bring them in.. I'm sure they can't guarantee temperaments. I cringe when I see someone stick their faces up to a dogs face. I don't get where the kidnapping survivor fits in,but oh well.

this place is an animal theif dog napper. i was out of town and my dog broke its chain and this girl took my dog rapped an iphone cord around it then took it 2 paws and the lady that had my dog did not give me enhough time 2 even get my dog i told the lady that it was my dog and i said stay where u are i will be there in 5 mins and she tells me 2 late ur dog is at paws so i get ahold of this comany 2 get my dog back and they say all u need is a picture 2 prove that u are the dog owner so i bring my dog photo in and they tell me 2 late ur dog has been adopted 2 a new family. screw this place they stole my dog and now my 2 kids are suffering that they have no dog and that dog watched over my 2 kids . this company does not deserve a star

These people seem to care for these animals which is a big deal. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. And it's a no-kill shelter!
