I have brought my dog to the Pampered Pet for over 13 years. I spent two years finding a dog groomer I liked and could trust before finding them. They were always kind, quick and accommodating. My dog always came back looking beautiful and was never fearful to go in. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The owner has been completely rude to me and my mother. But we have still given this place a shot in the past. Three yearsOver the past three years, I've been working with them. The owner has been verbally aggressive towards me and my mother when we were dropping off my dog. And today is my final strawThe owner called to cancel the appointment. I made last week for this Thursday, claiming that my dog bites. I asked him why this had never happened before, and once I asked him why. He started to yell.And get super aggressive over the phone. If he treats his customers like this, I don't even want to know how he treats his employees. Don't do business here. The owner does not deserve any customers

only groomer i've been to in over ten years. husband and wife run the place, we love and trust the both of them. the owners are a sweet dog loving couple from upstate, humble friendly and funny. neither of my dogs ever had a bad experience here and you have to be careful with grooming bc dogs are so sensitive i've heard ppl's dogs become traumatized from a bad grooming experience. only good experiences here consistently. we had one dog (lhasa) for 18 years who passed in 2013. from 2006 til his last cut we took him to pampered pets. his name was fluffy. they always made him look like a young sweet furry puppy. in fact when i picked him up he would look like a doggy model. in 2017 i was blessed w another dog named shaggy, as soon as i got him i took him to pampered pets, third day having him. his hair was knotted and wild as he was abandoned in harsh conditions. they took him in without appt and fixed him up, gave him a perfect trim and got all knots out made him look like a new dog. after a hike upstate he got burrs stuck in his entire body that could not be combed out. somehow they got every single one out. they are so good at what they do and incredibly sweet. my vet wants shaggy on a medicated shampoo, so when i bring him for a cut i bring the shampoo and they always use that one. they are precise, punctual, finish right when they tell you they will, fairly priced, and both my dogs have always gone in happy and left happy. theyve never been nervous or left upset. pampered pets gets a lot of dogs everytime i come and all the dogs ive seen have always been happy and wagging their tails. i read thru some of the negative reviews and sounds like they're coming from mostly from nasty and obnoxious upper middle class roslyn ppl who have snobby and obnoxious dogs themselves. i have never seen a bad experience in the dozens of times i have been here. definitely try them out and your dog will look like a tv dog! uploading photos

This was my first time taking my puppy to Pampered pet. They did such an amazing job with him that I didn’t recognize him lol. Thank you Joe and Pampered pet! I’ve already made an appointment for my other bernadoodle :-).

My wife and I took our golden doodle to this groomer, 3 times in the past and today again. Each time my self and my wife had extremely rude attitude from the Male Owner who grooms dogs.First of all, they use a piece of rope to take your dogs inside. when the dog resists, rope gets tighter and can even choke the dog.Today my dog scared from rope and jumped on their bench and i was extremely warned by this Male Owner stating that if dog breaks her legs in this bench he is not responsible. The wooden bench has gaps between and i told him it is dangerous for dogs legs and replace the bench, because dogs get scared and jump on it. He even became more rude, and told me that that's not for dogs and take off my dog immediately did not even give me a chance to move my dog.Overall, i would never recommend this place and using a choke rope is a safety issue.

A great experience and wonderful job. I treated my pup to a puppy spa day at Albertsons. He looks beautiful and the service was exceptional. The staff and owner were wonderful and explained a lot of ways for me to maintain the grooming. The owner is a genuine dog lover and showed me pictures of his puppy. I’ll definitely be back!!!!

First and last time. Owner was disrespectful and rude to my fiance. I came into get Shiloh's nails done. They were literally worse after. Had to go to the Petco in Carle Place to have them fixed.

My pups love going there. The grooming and groomer are top notch! My pups are looking good and are ready for the Christmas season. They do a wonderful job and we have been going there for many years now. I highly recommend to anyone with dog or cat grooming needs.

Pampered Pet cares for the four-legged members of your family. A friend recommended them to me when our little puppy entered our lives. The friend said they were excellent, did a great job and were very reasonably priced. Over the past almost 10 years, I can agree with each of those statements…and more. Not only do they expertly groom our beloved “sons” and “daughters” ( 😊 ) but they become genuinely supportive of how all of our family members are doing. My little pup is comfortable there and I trust leaving him there. Karen, Joe and each employee I met are compassionate and skilled. I’ve stayed with Pampered Pet despite where we’ve or they’ve moved and intend to continue doing so. Thank you to all of you at Pampered Pet. Please know how much you are appreciated!

The owner is very abrupt and comes off as arrogant and rude. Brought my beautiful Sheltie in to be groomed. Shelties have a long, beautiful coat. I was expecting her to be bathed, nails trimmed and ears cleaned. I almost had a heart attack when I came to pick her up and she was shaved!!! Who in their right mind does this? Avoid this establishment at all costs!

Handled my very fun and strong, approximately 150 lb., 16 month old German Shepherd with ease. Did I mention long haired? Yes, they did a great job. I have found a reliable groomer not afraid of big, well really, gigantic dog.

Really not happy with the way he cut my dog's nails. We came in to get his nails cut and when we got him back, his nails were shattered. Had to go to Petco to get it fixed.

I have used Pampered Pet with my dog several times. Today, I was in my car at the light right outside the salon when I watched the man (white man, who has been there forever- I believe he is the owner) grooming a medium sized light colored labradoodle. He was brushing the dogs tail and the dog turned around, when I witnessed him aggressively grab the dog and forcefully push it down and turn it around and continue. It was extremely disheartening and concerning. I WILL NEVER BE TAKING MY DOG THERE AGAIN AND I SUGGEST NO ONE ELSE DOES!

Brought my dog for grooming then noticed a cut on my dog head as I was leaving. I confronted the owner and he claimed it was a scab from before. It clearly looked like a cut and fresh blood. Won’t be going back there especially reading comments now how borderline abusive the owner handles dogs.

I bring my cat there to cut my his nails .the owners usually does it and he would hold him and cut the nails which was good case my cat would be calmish. Recently I went and he was one of his workers cut his nails .she doesn't hold him I have to hold him and the he starts to hiss because she doesn't know what she doing . For $15 you would think it would be more professional. Also his attitude sticks. The lady up front which I think is his wife is a sweeheart . He's the only in the neighborhood that cut cats nails so I have no choice.

Abominably rude owner. Can't ask him any questions for any clarification. Talks down to you and tries to bully you into accepting his time frame for appointments...patronizing and demeaning attitude. Nope. Not for us.

I worked there. Absolutely horrible. The owner made me cry and rubbed it in my face (note I'm 16) he roughly handled the dogs. Many people quit because of his horrible attitude. Borderline abusive when it came to handling animals.

i have two giant Newfoundland dogs that are 180 lbs and always get extremely matted and dirty from swimming in our pond... pampered pets always gets then completely clean, so well groomed and great hair cuts.. their nails are so nicely done as if they went for a Mani/ Pedi in a salon..also they are never stressed, thirsty or nervous when they come home...in essence I give pampered pets a five star plus rating.
